It's a simple gas station and convenience store on the outside, selling sodas and beers and apparently, quite a few lottery tickets. There is a kitchen area with posted menus of fried foods and hot dogs. And here I am ordering two bacon fried hot dogs with onions, mustard and chili. Oh, Mylanta. They're not very large but two was plenty. Prepared to order and brought to me at the table, I enjoyed them quite a lot. Delicious and full of flavor, I am expecting some heartburn later. Friendly service in this out of the way spot. But you need to put it "in" your way and get some Dawgs.

In my past life HA HA .... as a truck driver..Walt's was a regular stop. We would stop daily for chili dawgs. Ate many a chili dawg and always enjoyed the hospitality and friendship over the years. Always appreciated the parking area, the conversations and the chili dawgs. Walt was a great American !!! If I get back up there in the area hope to stop in and check on everything.

The food here is so good ! Ol Walt has some great hotdogs, burgers, and bbq sandwiches ! Eat there or get it to go. The folks there are always friendly and cheerful. It's a classic old school Mom and Pops kinda place. EASY IN AND OUT FOR TRUCK DRIVERS !

When Walt owned it, it was great. Now, the hot dogs are sloppy and service was very slow!! Sad to see what a respectable family built go to this!!!

Talk about a bump in the road. Tiny place in the middle of nowhere. You gotta stop for a chili dog and ask to try the boiled peanuts. Oh, and check out the museum/bathrooms when you are there.
