What kind of"gas station" has one gas pump that only reg and diesel and they can't keep up the fuel supply! The restaurant they're trying to run is far below sub par at best and they charge three times the price on everything in the store! I really don't understand how this place is even still in business!!

1-8-21It’s a busy store but what had me was I saw people coming out with food trays. So while I was broke down I decide to go in and check it out. I wasn’t disappointed. Store was organized and nicely lite. Bathroom does need some work but hey it’s a small store, it was clean enough. Looks like a butch shop towards the back(?) but maybe not, I don’t know. Bought me a breakfast platter and a drink for just $8. I’m not disappointed either. It was good, there are not a lot of times I get to have a decent meal. So needless to say I was pleasantly surprised. I’ve pasted this place quite a few times because I deliver right around the corner. I’ll come back again, hopefully to get another homestyle breakfast.

This gas station saved me. I headed to greenwood from anderson with gaslight on lol an finally first one I see in miles pops up. Great service an friendly ppl!!!

I stop here for gas food snacks when traveling to Greenwood and Abbeville and I can get out and Stretch in the vacant parking lot area. Nice people who work here and I love old country stores that are well kept up like this one. 5 stars. Location and availability of everything from gas to food.

This place was one place we use to stop in when I was younger. We had a funeral to attend and on the way back home we decided to stop in. Please give this place a try! This chicken philly sandwich was one of the best I have ever had!! It was so good. The others had a hamburger and they said it was good too. I would recommend you trying this chicken philly though!! Oh and sweet tea!! ;)

Grew up in the area, I was there the day the original building caught fire, and saw it rebuilt. Raised on the occasional steak from Godfrey's back in the day, and what a great treat that was. Our shop was close by, and we visited for lunch quite frequently, even with the new ownership the food is still good, but it's definitely different. Glad that Hodges still has a place to grab a bite to eat and a soda or ice cream on a hot day, but I'll always think of the old Godfrey' s first. Still a wonderful little place off 25 to grab a bite in a hurry... the bacon egg and cheese biscuits are my favorite!

I have been eating here since the Godfrey family owned it. The service and quality did decline when it was sold years ago, especially when the owners wife was there yelling across the restaurant at the workers, but when this current owner bought the store, he has brought it back to almost Godfrey quality. It's not 5 stars just yet but from what it was just 5 years ago to what it is now, I'd give it a sold 4 stars!

Godfrey’s (Hodges One Stop) is not what it used to be. I noticed the last couple of times I went in there that it seemed a little high. I added up what I ordered today, and after tax they overcharged me by $6. When I pointed it out, the woman said she would recheck it and came back saying she undercharged me by $5. What a ripoff! She would not give me what she owed me. Check your total, people. Check. Your. Total. Also, my burger was made wrong. They didn’t put my slaw in the box, and the onion rings were burnt.

Love breakfast here, and staff is very nice..... However the antiques that sit up there everyday with nothing to do with their lives but talk trash about other customers as they shop or wait for food, I could really go without.

Worst food and service we have had in a LOOONNG time. And as we were so rudely told on the phone " this ain't godfreys anymore" . The food and service dam sure proves that. I love being ignored while some short haired girl in glasses plays with her cell phone, the other two customers who were there before I was didn't seem very pleased eother. But I can take some solace in the fact that if this behavior and "quality " continues, they probably won't be open much longer.

Nice friendly staff and the homemade Mac and cheese is awesome! The only problem I had with the food is I didn't buy enough and for some reason they don't have Mac n cheese on the weekends.

The food quality has gone to poor ! After 15 minutes of trying to order some food (2 pm) I just left. 12 minutes went by with no one at the register. Sadly the lady at the register spoke little to no English. After 3 minutes of trying to order in English while in the U.S.A. I gave up and walked out disappointed and still hungry and now behind schedule

Chicken breast was skin and bones hard as a rock owner said it looked fine to him.was more meat on chicken leg. service very poor.does not deserve half a star

Idk what that guy is talking about i eat there 4 times a week during my work week and ive never had any trouble and the service is perfect theres nothong better then a home cooked style breakfast for a reasonable price
