For those who are looking for a home health agency for their loved ones, Synergy is the best one around. They really care about their clients and their employees. They are very compassionate and want the very best for their clients. They really know how to take care of their employees too. They try to take care of the employees so it can reflect on the care of the clients. I have been with a lot of home health agencies and I have to say Synergy is the best company I have worked for. I as a caregiver, I love to come to work and love to take care of the clients and give them the best care I can. One of the things I find amazing is the teamwork that the office staff and employees have together. They are always available when you need them. It is very important for the clients and their families.They make the company run smooth. I wish I would have found them a while ago. I am blessed to have them in my life. So don't hesitate to give synergy a call.

I hired Synergy to assist with my sister’s care after she had a stroke in April 2022. Synergy’s professional staff and caregivers are extremely caring and have met all of my expectations. The caregivers show up on time and are willing to assist my sister in all of her daily needs ESPECIALLY the numerous meds and supplements that she takes each day. Synergy was Recommended to myself & my father from the source he was currently living at to assist Dad in his daily needs. Of course there was resistance at first and at the end of Dads life, however Synergy was my savior for the interim especially not living in the same town. Mark & his team stepped in as professionals and assisted my family for the needs of our 93 year old Dad, someone to walk him to meals, walk him to activities and have a conversation with or just sit and watch the news & game shows!Our family would recommend Synergy for any aging parent that still insists on having their independence and you as the child still need yours 🙂

Jill was very kind and compassionate in my first phone call. I was honestly lost, having never gone through the process of caregivers in my home before. Our situation quickly changed to hospice care and yet she told me to call anytime with any questions. I did end up calling her for a night nurse and she sent us a wonderful woman Megan who helped us through the night. Megan was kind, caring and experienced enough to call me back in the room in time for me to be at my father’s side for his last breath. I’ve never experienced home caregivers before but Synergy was perfect in every way. I highly recommend calling them for help with your loved one.

I cannot even begin to express how AMAZING our experience was with Synergy Home Care. We had a situation come up and had to leave town for a few days unexpectedly. We did not want to leave our grandmother alone because she had just had a fall and while she was not injured we needed to have peace of mind that someone could stay with her. Mind you this was on a Saturday and I looked at my sister and said let’s start googling and calling. We typed in Home Care and Synergy came up first. It said open 24 hours and I said let’s start here. Sure enough a woman named Tracy had answered the phone. She was very kind and talked with us and before we even hung up my phone had another call coming in. I put her on hold to take the all and to my surprise it was one of the owners of the office. Before we had even hung up I had received an email from Jillian and I couldn’t remember if I was talking with Bob or Mark but what I do know is these wonderful people were all very involved, informative, compassionate and just on it. My sister and I were able to leave that day and my grandma had a blast with the woman they sent the next few days. Thank you so much all of you. My sister and I had the emergency trip but gram well she is going on hers soon and it is going to be a lot more fun then the one we had.Thank you for being honest and helping us when we needed it the most. We have been so happy with the care we have received from Synergy Home Health Care. Initially, finding the perfect match between our needs and the caregiver’s abilities, personality and ours and even the distance the caregiver had to travel took a little trial and error but we were always treated with respect and professionalism. Coordinating with Synergy, we were able to find a caregiver who met all of our needs and could provide consistent care. We couldn’t be happier!

From the first interactions with Synergy Home Care, we had positive reactions. The first interaction was with one of the Owners and then we moved to interactions with the Scheduling Team. They listened as to the "characteristics and experiences" of the people that I was looking for as a Companion for my mother. Over a period of 3 weeks, a "pod" of companions were established so that I could meet them the first time and spend time working together to ensure that both my mother and the Synergy Team could succeed and have a good relationship. There is ALWAYS someone to answer the phone and get your questions answered within a reasonable time. The care "pod" that we have goes above and beyond the job and they are always looking for tasks to do and keep my mother engaged in her interests and skills. A true Team approach!

My 93 yr. old mother is in assisted living, and recently began a series of daily treatments for which she required transportation and assistance. We called Synergy, and they quickly made arrangements for all her treatments and we felt very relieved and supported. On the first day, there was a snag at the doctor's office and what was expected to be an hour turned into most of the day - and the wonderful staff at Synergy stayed with her the whole time and kept us informed! They returned with her to her apartment late in the day - and got her settled and comfortable - even though it meant delaying their own schedules. We were immediately put at ease by their friendliness and great communication, but in light of this unforeseen hurdle on the first day, we felt even more supported knowing that Mom is in very capable and caring hands. Each Synergy staff member we have spoken with is very friendly and speaks of Mom in such a positive way. To know your loved one is being supported and cared for as you would if you could be there is an immeasurable comfort, and Synergy is just that blessing for our family!

We required home care for my husband with Parkinson’s. I needed time to grocery shop and due to falls and swallowing issues, I could not leave him alone. Synergy was able to provide a local caregiver to help out. We were having issues with an agency we had previously used.Dallas, our caregiver, is superb. Anticipates needs. Helps without being asked. After my mom suffered a serious injury from a fall at her assisted living facility, my family was desperate to find a supplemental caregiver so she wouldn’t be alone. From the initial call, I was impressed with the sensitivity and compassion regarding my mom’s situation as well as the concern for my own personal feelings in that difficult time. Throughout the entire process, I never felt rushed or coerced to make a decision. The Synergy team is patient, kind and accommodating. It was a pleasure to work with Synergy Home Care for services for my father. We were able to meet with Mark and his team via zoom to set up services and in person when we arrived. The staff was very kind and compassionate in their work with my father. Although it was a shorter stay than we had anticipated, it gave me such peace of mind to know he had care while I was miles away. I live out of town and the caregivers I was fortunate enough to meet over the last couple of months, were awesome! My Mom is in her 90s and it was time for her to stop driving. She was quite apprehensive about losing her freedom and mobility but Synergy has saved the day! We started service for my Grandy over a year ago. We started with just a day or two a week to help get her to bed or provide companionship. Over time, her needs progressed and we had service 4-5 times/week. Synergy Homecare of the Lowcountry did an outstanding job in providing care and a huge relief for my Aunt who was the primary caregiver. Unfortunately, my Grandy passed away recently but I can not say enough good things about the Synergy Team Family. Whether it was Jill or anyone in the office the team was great. My husband had Parkinson's disease for 18 years. It has gotten worse in the last two years and he had become homebound, unable to care for himself in any way. As a wife and caretaker, I felt the need to be able to get out for a few hours a week to get things done that need to be done, like banking, grocery shopping, etc. Synergy was a very important company to me. They were able to supply good people with the skills that were needed to care for my husband while I was out of the house. He looked forward to his "visit" for his caretakers became his friends. I was able to relax and do errands without hurrying or worrying about him.

I was in a difficult situation, having to bring a friend home who was unable to care for himself and needing 24/7 care with a very short turn around time. Synergy has gone ABOVE & BEYOND to provide caring and competent staff, help me ensure the home is safe and the necessary safety precautions have been taken care of. My dad had knee replacement surgery. He needed an aid to come in and help him shower. All the aids that came to help him over the 2 week period were wonderful. I was prepared and eager to use Synergy during my husband’s recent illness. Unfortunately my husband’s illness took a sharp turn for the worse and it was a little too late to use their services. However, knowing that we were now in need of hospice care, we turned to Synergy to help us find the best hospice care in our area. Mark immediately gave us the names and phone numbers of three hospice care firms that he believed were the best in our area. We were so pleased with the hospice care my husband received and it was due to Mark’s steering us in the right direction. Even though it was not to the benefit of Synergy, it was information more than willingly given. It’s obvious that Synergy’s main focus is the compassionate care each person deserves.I also know several of my friends have used Synergy’s services and have been more than pleased with the care they received. This is why I turned to Synergy in the first place. I feel that compassion and care is the prime goal of this company which is a rare find in these days.

I've been with Synergy a year now. They are a pretty descent company to work for. If you have a problem, they try to help. If you do well, you get a raise. They try to match you up with the right client based on your preferences. No company is always perfect and this one is no exception. Communication between the office and caregiver is key. The office team at Synergy in the Hilton Head location are really great!I've worked for two other Caregiver companies in my lifetime and I would recommend Synergy hands down.

My Mom broke her pelvis and was in a rehab facility for two weeks…The staff at Synergy really helped ease the stress of her transition to home during this rough period. They were a great in assisting with the things that you take for granted when you are well (meals, grooming, getting in and out of bed) but become arduous when an illness or injury occurs.My Mom also had a wonderful rapport with the caregiver who Synergy provided for us.Things like this were a tremendous boon to my mom’s mental health…which I believe accelerated her recovery and her physical health.I would highly recommend Synergy HomeCare to anyone else in a similar situation.

Our Dad was diagnosed with bile duct cancer in June of 2021.  His prognosis ranged from a few months up to 18 months on average and for the first 3 months after his diagnosis he was able to continue with his daily routines without much indication that he even had cancer.   In anticipation of possibly needing home healthcare resources I began researching companies in the Hilton Head, SC area.  After speaking with several I decided to hire Synergy HomeCare of the Low Country for a few shifts to help Dad with some basic needs.   I felt this would be a great way to introduce some outside help and also provide us the opportunity to evaluate Synergy should more extensive help be required later.Unfortunately, Dad's health took a sudden turn for the worse before our first shift with Synergy.  I called Mark Piegza at Synergy asking if he could help on such short notice.   I can not say enough positive things about how Mark and the entire team at Synergy rallied to help Dad and my family during a difficult time.   In addition to Mark's rapid response in developing a care schedule tailored to Dad's needs, he was in constant communication with me helping me think through various options related to Dad's situation.When I reflect back on my experience with Synergy, stating that they were very professional, responsive, and compassionate is certainly a big part of why I would recommend them to others.  What stands out the most is the genuine concern that Mark and the entire team conveyed across the board.   In every interaction starting with my first meeting with Mark and Lisa, then later meeting Bob and Melissa, they were dedicated to quality care including all of the amazing staff who cared for Dad.  Dad almost made it to 92 years of age and told us how great a life he had lived.  It was a blessing to have found Synergy and have them present during his final time with us.

Very compassionate and willing to accommodate at a moment’s notice. The caregivers were wonderful to my 95 year young mother who left her home of 50 years and went to Assisted Living, a difficult mental transition. They were warm and loving and she said she was so happy and they were so sweet to her. My experience working with the owner and staff was supreme. I will definitely contact them again if needed. This service was A+ and definitely gave me a real sense of security knowing my mother was well cared for!!

Our mom has severe dementia and our dad is not capable of caring for her on his own. Synergy came alongside our parents with caregivers who are able to connect with our mom even in her lessened mental state, and who have been amazing friends to our dad, too. Now that our mom is in a dementia care facility, she can only see our dad one time per week. So the care givers from Synergy are a happy lifeline for her.

This review is written by my father Philip Acino.I was providing 24 hour care for my wife with dementia. It became obvious that I needed a break from my care giving. I contacted Synergy. They set up a personal interview, met with my wife and I and devised a plan of action. We started with 4 hours a day 3 days a week and moved to 4 hours a day 5 days a week because of the excellent results. I found Synergy to be an excellent organization. They answered all my questions, provided great advise and provided a wonderful caregiver who was both competent and caring. She bonded with my wife, she looked forward to her coming and missed her on her off days. Additionally, she gave me great advise that made my caregiving better when she was not present. I would recommend Synergy wholeheartedly and without reservation.
