Everyone here is so friendly the people that made my sandwich and the deli were not just nice but they interacted and joked and laughed with the customers and the other staff they're just we're a happy bunch. And then seeing their Ginger breadhouse contest in the front of the store, Really shows that this is a good place to work. It was so nice and festive to see those and to get to vote on all of the cute gingerbread houses they made.

The Publix deli makes without a doubt the best sandwiches around. Tonight yours imploded. Your worker Andrew was more interested in chatting than making sandwiches. The place was missing ingredients such as Onions. There was one person in front of me and I waited 20 minutes while 5 people behind me left. When I got to place and order with his trainee I was told that they would have to cut the chicken for my meal. As Andrew was still dealing with the lady in front of me I left. I think you need a couple more experienced staff. My wait was from 6:50 until 7:10pm.

All staff members that I have encountered are helpful and appear happy while being at work, so that in itself says a lot. Many types and brands of products as expected. The last stop, of course, is checkout. First time I have witnessed someone bagging and square off the bag since I performed the procedure some 45 years ago. Old school and nice way to complete shopping with that added touch.The store, parking, and grounds are well maintained. Store is bright, clean, yet not antiseptic. I will return within the next few days.

If you are paying cash, don’t even try going through the self checkout, all the machines except one said card only. So using the “cash only” machine I scanned my items and found that there was no way to use a cash option to pay. Then the attendant looked and said “oh yeah, this doesn’t take cash” and printed out a receipt that I to gather all my items to head to the service counter to pay with cash… needless to say I was pissed! So if you are paying with cash, you’ll have to wait in line with an actual cashier. Which is totally cool, if there was proper signage and direction. NOT COOL PUBLIX OF HILTON HEAD, DO BETTER!

The store was very clean and well organized. We came down to Hilton Head Island for a week vacation and this was our go to grocery store while we were there. They could have had a larger produce selection but everything in produce was fresh and looked/tasted very good. No real complaints out of me.

What’s the point of ordering anything online at this store? It’s a great idea, order ahead and pick it up. But they don’t make your order! This is now twice I’ve ordered 2 hours in advance to come and pick it up and nothing.I have ordered from Savannah Publix no problem! Statesboro no problem! Hilton head needs to get their act together.

There’s a blonde lady who is always ignoring everyone in line until it backs up. She then stares at you (without speaking) for you to order. The worst customer service ever and the slowest!! They need help at this Deli and training

Very crowded today, not a lot of places to park, but that was probably because it's two days before Thanksgiving. Otherwise, it was a Publix, with all the wonderful things that come with that! I got some tasty seaweed snacks.

Racial profiling is a big thing at this location.Customers of color are watched closely and treated differently.As ignorant as this may sound many of the associates act nasty towards poc because of assuming they're shoplifters.It's worse if you're dress "urban".This used to be my favorite location up until recently.My experience,things I've witness and been told by other customers/former employees made me sick.

I was singled out by the scan and go cashier of all the people there checking out he was hawking over me as the only Hispanic person checking out I felt it was very rude I was there on 12/31/2023 at 9:30am.

This is my favorite Publix because it feels like I am visiting home in New York. I can get Boar's Head cold cuts and gabila knishes and all kinds of yummy stuff that remind me of home but I can happily take to my house in South Carolina 😀

I ordered a birthday cake and apparently they didn’t have the filling that I ordered. I would’ve been fine with another filling however, a lady drove to another store to pick it up to make sure I got what I ordered. The bakery staff was nothing but smiles & so courteous . The cake turned out amazing and I received so many compliments from the people at the party. I will definitely be ordering all my cakes from the Publix Hilton Head bakery. Thank you to the staff that helped make the celebration amazing!!!

I went for the daily sub special at the deli. Everything was fresh, well proportioned, and twice grilled (once for the meat, onions, and peppers and again after constructing the sub to toast bread and melt cheese). The extra hit of Boar's Head horseradish sauce set the Philly sub apart from others. It was still warm when I got home to eat it. Delicious and only $7.99 for the full 12" sub.

Very clean store. I love thier buy one. Get one free and they always put quality items for the buy 1. Get one not cheap stuff. Prices when not on sale are little high, But store is super duper.Clean and a pleasure to shop in everyone is always so helpful
