Store was clean and well-stocked. Prices are ok, not crazy cheap or crazy expensive (might be slightly on the pricier end). The worker behind the seafood counter was helpful and explained the best way to cook the shellfish we bought.

It's convenient to where we stayed - within walking distance. Easy enough to run out an pick something up. Prices are comparable to my local grocery at home. The staff are friendly! In addition to 2 cashiers who were LOADS of fun and highly entertaining during checkout, we spoke to two other employees - one immediately referred us to the person walking behind him who immediately went directly to the shelf and handed us exactly what we asked for -- all with a smile!!! We laughed, we hugged, we had a great time! They also have some really good souvenirs. Twice, I've forgotten to get something for myself and grabbed a little something right from the Piggly Wiggly! Highly recommend them!

Was able to find good buys. Plenty of items. Fresh seafood. Red delicious was really crisp & tasted gr8. The Jenni cinnamon cheese cake ice cream was amazing.

First-ever time in a Piggly Wiggly grocery store at Hilton Head Island, SC and I was very impressed at how clean, well-stocked, and how polite the cashiers are. It seemed like a grocery market & souvenir shop all rolled into one.  The Piggly Wiggly branding was all over the store front to back.  I went in to look for some unique souvenirs.  Boy, did I hit the motherload of the unique.  I give this location 5 stars because of the unique Piggly Wiggly outfits & souvenirs.Also, after looking around for a bit I realized this place is a legit grocery store. Ground Meat at a good price, and the Seafood market was very fresh especially the Salmon looked delicious. Piggly Wiggly grocery store is in the Coligny Plaza Shopping Center and within walking distance from the HILTON HEAD Shopping mall, the Sea Crest Surf & Racquet Club, and the Plantation Cafe & Deli.   My hats off to those who keep this place neat, organized, and with very friendly staff.

I wish the Pig would move its business to the Midwest. It is one of my favorite grocery stores. Always well stocked, great variety, and fresh produce, and sells quality items and local seafood and game. Used to be one of the only places where we could exclusively find Boars Head at the deli counter.

Nope. I'm breaking up with the Pig. It's finally official. We've been traveling to HHI and staying at the Breakers since the mid-90's. It used to be, even well into the 00's, quaint and quirky but I refuse to be a part of a price gouging business anymore. Yes, it's convenient for the public beachgoers but you pay several times more for something that you can purchase elsewhere.What finally broke me was when I walked up to the Ensure that I need for a meal replacement and saw the price. $14.49 for a 6 pk! I took my beloved Pig shirt and put it back and walked out with the bare minimum.At this point in time, I believe that it's criminal to gouge anyone anymore! If you are shopping there, more than likely, you have saved and saved up for the already expensive experience of HHI. Then, after travelling with high hopes, you enter the Pig and have to take the afternoon off to figure out how to pick your jaw up and put it back into your head.Shame on you!

Got to shop the Pig! Endangered species. Nice store, stock up on Wiggly stuff, hats, mugs and shirts. Good prices on food. Check out person was a little grouchy. Lol.

We LOVE the pig!!! The store is so quirky (in a good way) the pricing is way better than Publix, and the staff couldn't be nicer! The store is very dated, but to be honest, it is part of what makes it charming.

We love this place. Everything you would need at the beach, and good quality stuff along with good service. They even have beach floats and sand castle stuff.

We were in a hurry, and didn’t check expiration dates. The three-pack of romaine hearts were slimy (date on package was from December (we shipped in February). We bought a bag of chips that were also expired and stale.Check the dates before buying!

We showed up at 8:55pm because Google said they closed at 9:30.I only needed two items. The lady working was standing at the door and was extremely rude to us and other patrons entering. She scolded everyone for coming in as they close in 5 minutes. When we apologized and said that google says 9:30pm she replied with "That's not my problem."I do not believe that that is how she should have treated patrons in her place of employment. However, the young woman working the register was extremely nice and helpful. That was a nice change of pace.

SOOOO busy. They have a lot of choices crammed is this small store. Local sauces, Boars head fresh cut deli. Fresh seafood section, you'll smell it.Many cheese and wine choices for your beach get together. Tanning lotion, float, umbrellas, chairs and even men's swimsuits.

Smallish grocery store which is nice for a change. Have a decent wine selection. Also have all the basics. A handy place for visitors in the Forest Beach area. I also recently learned that their fresh fish/seafood department has a good reputation.

Stopped here for a few things a couple times. The only complaint we have is that they don’t carry Monster alcohol (when they have MANY other options in alcohol, mind you — it’s a new product, so it’s okay they don’t have it yet…). Very decent prices for the area and we appreciated the convenient location.
