Found this place on google, had great reviews and we were hungry. Yanks is a pool hall, family fun center, and delicious place to order food. It is a local spot with a very casual atmosphere, friendly people, and very good food. The pool tables at Yanks are very nice, there are diamonds. The family fun arcade is dated but our young kids had a fun time there while we played a few games of pool. Food comes out in a timely manner and we all thought our burgers were great. I'll definitely be back next time im passing through this area.Kid-friendliness: There a kids arcade, the games are older but the kids still enjoy em.

First time here and will definitely be back. Tried a few different things on the menu and enjoyed it all. Games are .25 each in the arcade room and billiards are $1 per game. They have daily specials and new menu items. Been here for 51years and family owned. Cigarette smoke is a bit strong so if sensitive to it stay away. Food was decent for the price it being fried/bar style food.Parking: Front of restaurant parking.Kid-friendliness: Perfect place for young or old children to play while they wait.

I grew up going to this place. It has changed here or there in some ways and stayed the same in others. Always try to stop by for a cheeseburger special with chili when I am close.

I must say, in all the years that I've lived here I have never been inside to do anything other than to pickup a hamburger order. GREAT food. Don't think I can give a review other than that.It seems to be a nice hangout for a lot of kids though.They probably could fix their parking lot.

I would eat at Yanks over any fastfood place, my burger was just as I ordered medium and my fries were perfectly done fresh and hot my orange soda pop was the finishing touch to my meal for ten dollars out the door plus I left a two dollar tip. Please don't change a thing as you are awesome along with your food.

You can reach back for your competitive spirit, and for a lil bit of coin , you can play a game of pool with your family. Family being the atmospheric intention of tall tale speaking Owner Brian Walters. Whom you still can catch behind the counter now and again . Pretending that all the great cooks learned it all from him. All "Spills and Giggles," aside . Brian and his family have served the Local Communities for quiet sometime. Yanks is and has been a pillar of our small community for a long time now . Appetite's, tall tales full behind us. Your family will be greeted with many smiles and great Food . I travel from Goose Creek to Georgetown everyday for my job. Once a week I have to go to the Hemingway area. Last week, I went to another restaurant and it wasn't welcoming. The cook didn't want to cook, because the 3pm cook hadn't showed up yet. Well, it was 2pm and my health concerns deem it necessary for me to eat. I decided to go elsewhere that day. My choice was Subway, where I could eat fresh. Well, today I went into Subway with the intent on eating there, but for some reason it didn't smell or look as fresh as it did the previous time. I asked the nice associate if there was somewhere else I could eat and she said, "Yanks" is really good! I recalled that one of my kids told me that a few weeks ago, so I contemplated on trying it. I even text a girlfriend from college and she knows how funny I am and she said that I would eat it and love it! Well, I made my way down to "Yanks"! I was WELCOMED at the door. I met the Original Owner's two sons and daughter-in-law. I received the history! My chicken philly with fries and a Canada Dry were fabulous, especially; with their family recipe honey mustard sauce. I even watched the news! I felt right at home. I think or better yet know that I have found my new spot! God is still good to me! #YanksfamilyisappreciatedbyME#

This is my families business, been standing in Hemingway for 50 years! My bop opened this! We use fresh hamburger meat, fresh chicken, fresh thin steak, we cut all of our vegetables by hand! We serve fast food, and our prices are very low! You could literally come in our business and feed a family of 6 for around 30 bucks! If you ever come through Hemingway, please slide through and eat one of Yanks (my grandbop) famous burgers! Ask anyone around town about our burgers,you cannot top them!!!!!
