I live in Florence, but work in Hartsville. Some mornings, I stop by Piggly Wiggly on my way to work. I know the store is supposed to open at 7, so I will wait in my car until 7:05. Lately, I have been waiting in my car longer, and they will not open. One day, I waited outside the door, it was 7:10. They saw me standing there and still would not open. Even the uniform guy came and waited, no open door, so he left. I cannot be late, to work, so I always depended on the Pig to be my go to place in case I needed anything. I will never go there again.

It's like a supermarket sized mom & pop store. We come for a few of our favorites that aren't carried anywhere else. Always a great selection of meat. We also come for our supply of Liverwurst! OK, not everyone's a fan; but, we are, and they carry a great brand we like!:-)

The cashiers and manager have very poor customer service skills and professionalism. Their debit machine was broken and they laughed and mocked at my comment of it not working. The cashier who hasn't even spoke to me at this point went and got a manager. She came out and didn't speak to me whatsoever. No one apologized for my inconvenience, no one offered to move me to another register, and most importantly they didn't thank me for my business and patience while I waited for them to fix the machine. Technology can fail at times and that is understandable but employees should always be professional and treat customers with respect as we the customers are the reason they are employed.

Seems they would keep shelves stocked and not take old hamburger meat and wrap fresh hamburger around it and put it back to make you think it's fresh.Made me sick and I do love the pig just not this one...Found one bag of the biscuits I wanted that wasn't out of date,so many things in this store is expired so I told the man working their and the response was Doesn't surprise me...Wow

Employees here are very lazy. I stood in line while they were taking. Then 1 said the isle was closed. Still talking to each other, they told me to get in another line. I spent 15 minutes to get 1 item. She also had a smirk on her face while I waited. Do not deserve 1 star.Not all are that bad ,lm sure.

I came into the piggly wiggly for the first time today. My family and I usually go to the piggly wiggly in lamar and we love it there. However, we were in hartsville and figured why not. Very disappointed. The food was way over priced and even found opened things on the shelf and when I went to give to the manager she made a rude comment. She was very rude even while we were checking out. We will not be back.

The one gentleman who works in the meat department is excellent. He goes above and beyond everytime we are there!! The meats are of good quality. I have never had an issue getting our meat there.Some times we will find an outdated item, but customer service always acts and pulls the items when I tell them.

This is one of the better Piggly wiggly stores I have been to.The prices and selection are okay, the service has always been friendly to me.The best thing about this one, however is the location. It's centered in a better part of town than any other Piggly wiggly I have been to.So it's the only Pig I've been to where there aren't always a bunch of homeless people inside and a bunch of old ladies reselling their groceries outside.

Went in for pigs feet.. I asked the young butcher if they had some in the back he stated they didn't have any..then followed me to 2 isles asking if I would go on a date with him.. I told him I was married and he said where's your ring. I then left the store immediately and now won't return for fear of being harassed while shopping so now I travel the extra miles to go to IGA

The prices were a little outrageous and the have too much spoil meat that is price ver high. The ground beef is package with fresh meat on top but we get home and open the package, it's spoiled in the middle unseen by shoppers.

I had not patronized the Pig in Hartsville for many years until a couple of weeks ago. Some bad experiences had kept me away. I was pleasantly surprised to see some substantial improvements. I have been back since my first visit and intend to continue shopping here.

It smells like Garbage when you walk in the door getting a buggy. The steaks were grey. I was asked if I wanted my Groceries taken to the car, I declinded as the lady had more groceries then me so I let him stay and bag and help her.

Their cuts of meat are fresh. You can watch the butchers cut and they'll do it. The prices are budget friendly too!

Mikayla(sp) went above and beyond at the Hartsville location. It was after hours and the meat department was already closed. We were looking for a specific cut of meat and she called the meat manager and he walked her through finding the cut of meat we wanted. Thanks to Mr. Rick the meat manager for talking her through on your time off!

Do not like this store at all. It smells. It never seems clean and the inventory isnt stocked every time I have been in there. I only go in when I absolutely have to. HORRIBLE !!!!!
