I went to pet lovers today to get some crickets for my bearded dragon. the man on shift was extremely helpful and kind. I cannot say so much about the lady. she seemed to be the one in charge, but she did not greet us nor ask us if we needed any assistance. all while playing on her cell phone while sitting behind the counter. My fiance went to pick a rabbit up ( we own three and WERE considering adopting from there) and the rabbits nails were so long they cut him and got stuck into his shirt. we politely informed the lady at the front desk that the nails should be trimmed as it can cause health issues later in life. She very rudely let us know that they don't do that there and that there isn't anyone certified to do that. That statement didn't make any sense to us considering we do all of our pet maintenance ourselves. to which she replied she doesn't even cut her own animals nails.I will say thank you to the other person on shift for picking out the few large crickets they had left, but I'm ashamed of the way this establishment allows their employees to treat customers. We have 10 pets and could potentially be regular customers, but this store has lost my business completely. will not shop at another pet lovers any time soon.

I like having a local pet shop here in Hartsville. They "usually" have what I'm looking for. They carry the only food I feed my Boxer and Greyhound. Taste of The Wild dog food can only be purchased at Pet Lovers Warehouse for here and Florence, so glad they carry it!!Thanks guys!

This is a nice place to go for pet stuff. However it has went down since it's under new management. The live pet selection is not as good. If you buy something like a rat you get charged extra if you want it put in a box. The employees and great, especially Nicole.

Just love taking my little dogs here. Employees are always nice and helpful. You can order your little pet a name tag while you're there. They have a big variety of food, toys, beds, cages, repair/replacement parts and much for all kinds of little critters. Prices are a little high. But the atmosphere and the fact that my pet is welcomed there, is SO MUCH BETTER than going to Wal-Mart. The store is clean even with our little critters stopping by. Also the PET MOBILE comes by evey month and give reduced costs in exams, shots, and more. Stop by and say hello.

I would give this place no stars if i could. Where do i begin with this place, all the rats are covered in lice and mites in small crowded cages. The small animal cages are a bunch of 10 gallon tanks with only a hide and wire wheel with very little bedding. They have several reptiles in cages way too small with very little enrichment. Bare rabbit cages. The only decent cages are the brid cages but there all to small or crowded. They give bad advice, incorrect care information, and just every rude. This place honestly makes petco and petsmart look like decent petshops.

they dont even deserve 1 star but the lady in there was ok..but dont go in there just look around.. bc u will get treated rudely.. lol they think Wal-Mart sends spys in there to find out what they have.. hahaha what a joke.. keep running your customers off.. . thanks for helping me save my money for a better place of business..

The prices are very expensive but it is a pet store. Everyone is always so nice and very helpful every time I go into there.

Not a very organized/dependable store i was selling them baby bunnies and after i sold the last batch i was asked to breed more now they have fired the store manager and never bothered to call me and tell me not to breed more now i'm stuck with 30+ baby rabbits because they did not call me and i am on the breeders list there they only had two breeders me and a guy named Mr Hurb from bishopville .
