IGA is a place to go grocery shopping but every time my husband and I goes in there it’s one employee that follows us on every isle and we told the store manager about him and they still didn’t do nothing about it.

The meat department in this store is the best in Hartsville. If you're shopping anywhere else in Hartsville for meat you are wasting your time. Excellent. I can get produce and canned items and frozen goods anywhere in town but the meat department is the heart and soul of a grocery store and this one hits the mark

Family owner and operated. They’re very nice people with a smile always on their face. I’ve been shopping here since I was a child and I continue to shop here with my own children. Every time we shop is always pleasant and we always appreciate their deals. With having 3 or more children it’s a big help :-)

This used to be my favorite place to shop for groceries. All the qualities that made it a great grocery store, still remain except for one thing. I believe this grocery store is price gouging it's customers. The prices are downright ridiculous. I believe it is because they cater more to the lower income shoppers on food stamps. If you think about it, that is a double whammy because these folks are struggling from the start. The store is a convenient location and I believe proximity plays a huge role in where people shop. It angers and saddens me at the same time. I used to hold the owners of this store in high regard but that opinion has declined as their prices have increased. Never thought I'd feel this way about "hometown" IGA.

Friendly hometown grocery store. There is a wide variety to choose from in a relatively small space. Prices are competitive. Butcher on premises in the meat department. Good produce selection.

Most excellent little local grocery store. Clean store and we'll lit parking lot. Very friendly staff, cashier's are fast and friendly, no drones working at this IGA. Fresh meats and dairy. Selection is limited due to size of store, you can get in and out quick unlike at the bigger mega stores

They treat and greet all customers like family-friendly. Big enough to have what you need and small enough to shop at a shorter time frame. Less clutter since they carry mostly food or items pertaining to such. Not trying to carry clothes and everything to get all your money and put other companies out of business which is why I dislike Wal-Mart.

I go there 4/5 times a week for something. They're friendly,courteousand always willing to help you. If they dont have what yoy won't. Ask and they will get it.Larry is a super guy.

For the most part, it was ok. But there was one worker (fat black girl) that decided to call me and my brother in law greedy. Not 100% sure what it was about, but it happened on two separate​ occasions and was VERY irritating. So we just stopped going there.

Had to put up a cart full of groceries because their card reader wouldn't work and they can no longer type in cards information would not take a check because the address is out of state and I just moved yesterday did not try and offer any helpful suggestions or alternative options so I had to leave with my three hungry children and no groceries

I went into the IGA for the first time last week. It seems to be good prices on everything. I do wish the store was a bit cleaner, but it could just be because it's old and looks a little run-down.

I give IGA Food Center a 5 star. Excellent store very clean and neat. The cashiers, the meat department, the shelf stockers, customer service, the baggers are all nice and very courteous. I enjoy shopping at IGA.

Great people, selection, and mostly local farmer produce. Can't beat it, one of the owners even traveled to another store in a different city to get a customer 3 hams to choose from.
