The phone system is awful. I can't imagine how frustrating and difficult it is for elderly and those who are ill. There is no way to speak to an associate and the automated menu does not give you the option to bypass. Do better, CVS!

Horrible experience today. Went to pick up a prescription and check on one that supposedly was ordered this morning. Wanted to make sure it had been ordered and see if there was an eta. The lady I talked to told me that my prescription probably wouldn't come and even if it did, I probably wouldn't get it because they had a waiting list. Why would they continue to take prescriptions they can't fill? Especially since it is a med that can't just be stopped due to side effects and can't just go get another prescription because of the type of med it is? I will be changing to Hartsville Drug for all my prescription needs! I will be calling corporate as well because they shouldn't be accepting prescriptions they can't fill in a timely manner and without an attitude.

I absolutely LOVE CVS! I always save so much money by using the CVS app and clipping the coupons and using my extra bucks.The staff are always super friendly and helpful.

Linda at the front register encouraged me to join the Care Pass savings and has assisted me in taking advantage of those savings fully. Taylor in pharmacy assisted me in straightening out an insurance issue for my elderly dad. I feel like the staff at CVS Hartsville really care about the customer and the appearance of the store and making you feel welcome.

Heavyset man. Has worked here a few years. Is nasty rude! Accused me of shoplifting and o knew I had not ever done such so I called 911. Even when he realized he was in the wrong, it was still nothing but a terrible attitude from him.

No toilet paper in the 2 holders, 1 roll on the railing against the wall. Open hand sanitizer bottle ON THE CHANGING TABLE?? Bleach cleaner in the corner. Paper towel also on the changing table which I don’t have much confidence it was cleaned very recent. Just distrusting…

They are rude there and they don't give you any discounts to help you when you are paying out of your pocket for medication. They're definitely losing my business I'm telling everyone don't go there trying are the worst pharmacy ever

This is primarily a post because of the asinine review by Emma Starz from what I assume to be 2 days ago. This CVS is one of the cleanest CVS stores I have ever visited. Unfortunately many people who shop at this CVS are ones who feel entitled and Emma is clearly one of them. She failed to show what was disgusting in the bathroom. So what there's a changing table with hand sanitizer on it? It's not a nasty plunger left on there...it's sanitizer so calm down Karen. What? There is a mark where the rail used to be? Many people who shop there and arnt careful so things break so get over yourself. Funny enough you had the audacity and the ignorance to post only about the bathroom and not the store. If the bathroom is not to your liking I'm sure the store is accepting applications for you to get hired and fix it. The staff here is always so friendly and I can tell they are proud to help everyone that shops there when other CVS staff at other locations are very rude. This store is one of the busiest in the area so if it's such an issue there's a Walmart down the street with two bathrooms you can critique since you have nothing better to do with your time. People in retail are not beneath you so quit acting like it.

scheduled an appointment online to get the new covid vaccine and spent thje time online to complete the 20 questiuons, etc. showed up at the appointment time only to be told they did not have the vaccine. very frustrating and one of the employees didn't even care about the issue.

Never have medication in stock and won't tell you until you try to refill and then your out for weeks or months. Every time I go in there are people complaining about their meds and wait times I can even hear people in front of me at the drive thru exchanging words about not having things like insulin . I have not been able to get 2 of my meds filled in the last 4 months despite other pharmacies having these meds. Don't waste your time or money.

Called about a prescription. Pharmacy said they were out of stock so I discussed what was in stock and let them know I was calling my Dr to change the prescription for my son. The Dr immediately sent the prescription over but when I called back before going to the store the pharmacy said they were out out of stock. This happens frequently. When I spoke with the pharmacy worker she was very rude and said sorry we did have it earlier but now we are out. It was after the Drs office had closed. Therefore my son is without medication for another day.

Mandy is an excellent employee. I am a frequent customer at CVS and this was my first time at this location, she made my experience the absolute best! When I entered the store (very close to closing time), she immediately greeted me and asked what she could help me find. I had kids in the car whining about needing a blanket and there were none in the store that I could find. She actually cared and went out of her way to go to the back to see what she had. When she came back she actually presented me with options for me to chose from. This world needs more people like Mandy! She is what excellent customer service looks like. She went above and beyond and deserves recognition for being awesome!

Employees are nasty acting towards you, and act like they don't want to do there job, if you don't like you job leave and find another one, should never take someone 2 hours to get a prescription, when it was called in by a doctor. Just ridiculous, I will just change to Walmart, or some where else.

I have been a CVS customer for a long time. I have used the Hartsville, SC location for three years. Recently, this store has gotten much better. The drive-thru is faster and the in-store shopping has been more pleasant. The store is organized, clean and the staff is very friendly and knowledgeable.

Very inconsistent in customer service, loves to argue with the customer even when I'm 100% right. Some days you get polite, others just have attitude..I had to call the VA for them to speak the pharmacy to get them to understand it is NOT insurance stop trying to run everything under it.Then when meds are sent in you have to call to tell them to refill even if they're due. They'll say oh these can't auto refill, it's not an automatic refill if it's a new prescription every month!Then the app and text system is completely broken, if a med is on hold "because it can't autofill", then don't display ready for pick up. When I get it filled, I get the text stating it's "back in stock and ready for pick up." It was NOT out of stock so why text that message. Pharmacist states oh that's a cvs.com issue not in my control.

Incompetent staff and management. Count your pills and money! It took over 2 months to get my $70 back after I was overcharged for 2 prescriptions. After many times of going into cvs, calling and being ignored I called pharmacy customer service to file a complaint and with this I was able to get my money refunded. The general manager called only to give excuses and humor me. DEA definitely needs to investigate CVS.

So a prescription was called at noon and when I went to pick it up they pharmacy said it wouldn’t be ready until tomorrow. So noon the next day a call was made to see if it was ready and the lady on the phone said they were out of it yesterday and had come it today and it should be ready in about a hour. An hour and half later go to pick it up…told still not ready would be 15 more minutes. So get in line get to the register after 15 mins of more waiting and it’s still not ready and was made to wait off to the side just to be told to go to the back of the line. Will not use this pharmacy or store every again.

This CVS sits on a corner and is visible from the main road. However, I could not figure out how to get in and out of the parking lot. The stored stores looked clean for the most part and the cashier was pleasant. However, I was disappointed that their photo machine was down and they were unsure when it would be back in service.

First time lady with purple hair was so rude to me and they never done anything she’s still there and still rude. Second time I got to drive Thur at 1:00pm I got to the window at 1:30pm and they said they can’t help me they went on lunch. I wasted time and gas for them to not help me something has to be done with this pharmacy this is unacceptable.

The pharmacy messes up the medication so when I have the doctor call and tell them they then shut the door on me after I waited in line for 30 minutes waiting on them. When I explained that they said we open at 10 am.

I had a really horrible experience in this store today. An older lady by the name of Cammie who works in Pharmacy was very rude to me. By the end of my visit, I was called ignorant and yelled at and she (Cammie) did all of that with the Pharmacy Supervisor standing right there. All I wanted was my medicine but Cammie made it obvious that she did not want to help a person of color. She watched me for 10mins at the counter and never came over to the register until a white female walked over and wanted to pick up her medicine. When Cammie did come over she addressed me rudely and then walked off and started helping the white female who was beside me. So I asked her for her supervisor thinking he would make the situation better and at least calm her down but he came over to help me but never said anything to Cammie who was still running her mouth and being rude. I wanted to stoop to her level and be rude to her but since the Pharmacy Supervisor seemed like her buddy, I decided to pay for my meds and speak to the Store Manager. Mackie, the store manager was very nice and helpful. I sure hope someone took the time to talk to Cammie about her bad attitude. I spent a lot of money on my meds in there today and I didn't deserve the racist and rude behavior that was showed to me today. For the record if you don't like people of different ethnic groups, don't get a job where you have to service them.

Pharmacy department literally falls to shambles when Buster isn’t around, prescriptions are never filled when they are supposed to be and it literally takes ages for both inside and outside lines it’s ridiculous that when one person isn’t there the whole department falls apart how is that even possible

Beyond slow pharmacy. Much faster at Walmart or Walgreens. Never got my prescription because I left after an hour and 10 minutes of waiting. This is how you lose customers.

Not a friendly person in the place. Been waiting on a Rx for over a week. They do nothing to help. They couldn't care less about you or your problem. Pharmacist wouldn't even answer a simple question. NEVER using this place again.

Please answer the phone. Seriously I was on hold (actually not on hold bc nobody picked up) but listened to elevator music for 22 min the 1st time and 17 min the 2nd time this evening. We love everybody in there but good lord it’s painful trying to actually talk to someone.
