Great truck stop that’s along with South of the Border. Very clean showers, plenty fuel lanes, restaurant, and a gift shop on the inside. We stop in often and each time it’s a pleasant experience. Also, there is plenty of parking. You can stay the night or park and walk around the area.

Advertised all over as open 24hrs, arrived at 11pm on a Friday night, wanted to at least use the bathroom and look around but all the doors are locked. There’s a girl inside just standing there but refuses to come to the doors. What’s the point??

Pleasantly surprised at how clean the shower rooms were. But very disappointed at the lack of hot water. My shower was cold. I got about 1 minute of barely lukewarm water. The lady up front was very nice. The store was clean as well

Cute spot to stop and check out. Lots has pot holes but it's big enough to maneuver around them. Tons of souvenirs and candy are located inside the store. Staff was friendly and the restrooms/showers are clean!!

This place is fantastic- the whole place is . The retro atmosphere of the area is fantastic !! Some cool souvenirs and gag gifts — Definitely worth the time to stop and walk around !!

Hidden jem. Too bad fuel desk isn't open like it used to be. The lot is large but does have large potholes. Still it is like a old school truck stop. Might be a good place to do a 34 hours rest in the summer. Lots of things to do for fun.

Waste of time. The first thing I saw was NO fed ex trucks allowed here. Than I parked went in wandered over to the restaurant well they were out of grits and hash browns. I left the store clerk was rude when I asked a question. I left.

Love to stop in here due to them being the only place that has Glennheim Ginger ale but you can’t advertise yourself as 24 hours if you’re not going to stay open 24 hours. I walked up to the door and there was a girl standing in the isles that refused to unlock the door or acknowledge me in anyway.

Husband & I were really looking forward to checking this place out. We contract with FedEx and drive a little straight truck. Upon arrival were met by security and asked to leave. He said no FedEx trucks allowed. They just lost our business forever. Hopefully yours too. I do believe that’s discrimination. Don’t you? I for one will never be back. No matter what company I’m contracted with. Thumbs DOWN!!!!👎

Old school Truckstop I did not go inside just used it as a place to park the truck and rest my head for a few hours. I’d def go back in the future and check it out some more

There are pot holes, but not many, and are easy to avoid. At 1AM, I went to take a shower. The door was locked, but for security reasons (that's the America we live in folks). She opened it, and I paid $8 for a hot shower. The shower has ventilation! Imagine that! The little restaurant has excellent chicken wings. I can't wait to get back in this area again.

The only thing good about this place is that there is parking. But beware of pot holes that will swallow up a Volkswagen car in a heartbeat lol.The truck stop is NOT open 24 hrs and doesn't even open at a decent time in the morning. The only bathroom you have is to walk across the street diagonally to the corner gas station and go to the public restroom building.This building/bathroom is disgusting and needs serious help. It is used by very seedy folks and is in need of serious deep cleaning.SOB is in need of serious repair and or to just be torn down and start again. It's a real shame, this location used to be so awesome and was well maintained back in its glory days.So many lights out,faded paint, broken signs,and just cheesy gifts for sale and a very over priced steak house that serves average at best food.Keep traveling south or north and By-Pass SOB and you'll do yourself a favor to skip this place.

My husband and I visited Heavenly Wingz Thingz. We've returned several times.Note: Don't leave without ordering the Fried Wingz. Open for Breakfast and Lunch. Great prices! Excellent location: Hwy 501 & I-95, NC/SC border!

Not a review for the full truck stop, but for the "Heavenly Wingz and Thingz" place attached to it. This place opened last Sunday (June 18th) and it is phenomenal. The family that runs it is very nice and the wings are, wouldn't you guess it, heavenly. Definitely try the wings, chicken and rice, and top it off with some red velvet cake. Need some cheap but good breakfast? This is the place for you. Definitely stopping by any time I'm in the area.

Website says truck stop is 24/7 but they close at 11. Truck driver had no bathrooms to use. Was informed when called and complained they are across the street. Don’t stop here if your a truck drive you won’t be able to use the bathroom until they open unless you walk across the street.

It's old and showing it, fuel desk diner is closed.. but a welcome place to sleep and I ate across the street at the steak house.. not a quick meal deal and a bit pricey for regular working truckers.. a treat meal kinda joint.. FYI, the porterhouse was a fine T-Bone, but, not a porterhouse so beware.. prepared perfectly though.. excellent baked potato and the salad bar was super.. so I didn't really gripe about it but I would not order it again, for the price.

I liked on here there's most the time parking available it doesn't get real pack very often but there was once in awhile it will be super swamped in here and you won't find the place in there to park but it's very rare. They have a really great steak house right across the street. Some people might think that it's little bit high on their prices. I've always had big portions of food especially their steaks and they're all you can eat salad.

Plenty of parking which is really great. But, they are not open 24 hrs like they say they are. BBQ joint closed very early and there's no fountain machine. You can't get ice! That's a biggie for me. Wish y'all would update your store.

Bad but clean lot, lots of pot holes. Store inside is cool. Cute little souvenirs. Customer service is always good going in there, and the shower is very clean though a bit run down. My only real complaint is the parking lot. You'd need maybe two small dump trucks to bring a load or two of gravel each to temporarily fix that lot.
