It's 8:45am on a Friday. The doors are locked. Hours are 8-10 so either someone is late or the single car in the parking lot belongs to the employee hiding out in the store.

I have never been into a Dollar general to where the employees are so rude. Went into this dollar general to find an item (a common item that I figured they might of had) and the employee proceeded to ask me why I needed it and was guessing on why I needed it and then asked me if I knew if dollar general even carried it. This isn’t the first time I’ve had a bad experience here but I will not write a comment on my first because it was just so disturbing and these are public. I also feel like employees should be more professional when speaking to the customers and keep their personal opinions to themselves. But other than rude employees, the store is pretty well kept although I feel like it’s weirdly arranged. The few times I’ve been in there I’ve found myself running around everywhere to find certain items that I would have thought would be in one place but they are in another. I don’t feel like the design and arrangement of products were well thought out.

The hours of this place are so unreliable. One day they operate normal business hours and some days they don’t open until 11 am. I live up the street from this store and the unreliability of this location creates a lot of frustration. It has gotten so bad that I am refusing to step foot back into this place and waste my money. If corporate would actually pay a living wage and fix the A/C in the building then they might actually be able to have the man power to open on time and stay open until the closing time that is listed on google. This place is a complete joke, I urge you all to go spend your money at Walmart because at least Walmart gives their employees A/C when it’s 100 degrees outside.

Cashier was very nice an helpful ..the outside parking lot looked like an after party had just left i arrived at 335 pm on a Saturday today 8/5 the polite Cashier was helping a lady in line a another was putting in a cash drew at another register me an others thinking she's about to open that side an she looked up at the customers in line an walk off .it came to my turn in line an i asked to speak to a manager cause it wasn't right for the other cashier to walk off like she did an she said that was her manager 💀 i said ok never mind.

Went to this store at 9am. Doors were locked. Lights on fans going.So I waited.Pepsi delivery truck comes.Doors still locked.No open or closed sign. No hours of operations on doors. I'm sure they are as good or better than most of the Dollar General stores. They have the largest parking lot I've saw at any of their stores. I do thank them for allowing me to park there and wait for my friend. My GPS went out and I was lost not from the area. Thanks for letting me wait for my friend. Always hot and cluttered. Not sure if the air is always broken and why they can’t hire employees to take care of the store. Boxes seem to always be stacked everywhere in the aisles and what floor you can see is dirty. Maybe they should offer higher wages and keep good employees which in turn would help their bottom line’

Their hours are incredibly unreliable. There is a sign on the door that says they close at 8, but I've seen them close as early as 5. They have a lot of difficulties with keeping items in stock and they have a history of their credit card machines going out.

I love Dollar General, it's my favorite place the prices are great and they have everything I need, on the other hand some if the employees aren't so great at some stores, The Dollar General Market in Pacolet SC is the best one I've been to all the way around it's employees are great too just like the store I would rate this store a 10 but there wasn't one on here.

People are reviewing that nice people work here, oh no i don't think so. Your never greeted upon entering the store. Not even a thank you have a great day when your leaving the store either. I'm not from around this area and every place I've been too while traveling through this town i encounter with the rudest unprofessional people. It's a shame. This lady came in the store trying to ask the lady where an item was and she responded in a rude way to "wait a minute" the customer was shocked at her response as I would have been to..this lady at the register is rude and not caring how she deals with business. Also prepare yourself with waiting in line for about 10 minutes to checkout, so you might want to shop around for a while until you see the line empty to go and checkout!!

This store is not reliable, half the time their closed. And at busy times, I watched 20 cars pull in and get turned away at 4pm cause they were closed when on the door it says closes at 10pm although they usually have a note saying. Closes at 8pm if that decent store othwrwise

This is the closest Dollar General store to our house. It is so convenient and it keeps us out of wal mart for most items we need so that saves us money too. Recently the whole staff had changed in 1 day. Ever since that happened OUR Dollar General hasn't been the same. Shelves are not stocked, isles are impassable because roll carts are stored there , the front of the store is so trashy and trash cans have trash piled as high as it can go and spilling over to the sidewalk. I feel that no one is paying attention to the conditions of the store and if they are, they just don't care and have no pride. Our D G is gone, I'm not stopping in much now.

Very well kept clean and constantly stocking shelves meaning the employes are always staying busy to help keep merchandise displayed for the great customers there who also show appreciation there at the stores. The new store manager Abbey is doing great work as of maintaining that for us loyal customers. #Teamdollargeneral

Again, another business being killed by its corporate office. They refuse to get enough staff to handle the customer load. And that load is a large one. It's the number one location that BMW employees use before heading into work for the evening shift. This usually means that you'll stand in line for 20-30 minutes while a single cashier rings up a line that stretches back into the aisles.I can understand the employees "I dont care" attitude. Would you? Considering that corporate abandons them to just deal with it, instead of hiring the help that is so desperately needed in this location.

I'm giving them 5 stars because unlike Wal Mart, they actually had what I needed in stock and, unlike Wal Mart again, they are NOT requiring masks to be worn in their stores! Good job Dollar General!!

Absolutely terrible customer service here. I went in to buy a couple of items, a pack of cigarettes, and get some quarters since I needed to put some air in my tires. When I asked for cigarettes, the cashier blurted "I-D?!" loudly before I was even done saying "please". Then when I got cash back, she closed the register as I asked for $2 in quarters, then she said she couldn't open the register once it was closed. I used to be a cashier, that was a lie. I put my items in my car and then went back inside to the back of the line, so I wouldn't hold anyone up any longer than I had already. I showed her the 10 and asked for change, and she told me I had to make a purchase- another lie. I gave her a pack of mentos and asked for the quarters, then she said she couldn't give out loose change- yet another lie. As I was driving home, I noticed I had a single quarter with the change she gave me, so I went back intending to speak with a manager. A different cashier or maybe the manager was at the counter and when I explained the situation she was also rude and said they couldn't give out rolls of quarters. After I explained I only needed 8 quarters in total, she reluctantly opened the register with the push of a button and handed me my change. I realize this may make me seem petty and blowing things out of proportion, but I was treated badly the moment I set foot in there and then lied to 3 times. It's the principal of it.

Been going to this store for years because it's right next to my work. They have gotten better with the stocking & everything they are just short staffed. The registers always have huge lines, and take forever. But I've become use to it.

The workers are friendly. Have had times where I wait at least 10 minutes to get checked out but because of other customers. Red box right in front very convenient.

I love this place. More so than the building and items sold.. it's the people who work there. Where everybody knows your name and there always glad you came....Question though- WHY DOES MY PHONE NEVER HAVE SERVICE ANYTIME I ENTER A DOLLAR GENERAL.

Very clean store. Well organized. Has good selection of groceries and most household goods. Outdoor lawn and garden items and good selection of beer and wine. Also a red box dvd rental outside.

It's a dollar store short on cleaning supplies and always needs stock put up out the aisles. All employees are always helpful and considerate.
