Once upon a time I LOVED this place. The last 8-10 months it has gone way down hill.I'm not able to utilize the in store stuff so much since I have mobility issues and can't stand at the bins and go through the mountain of junk while looking for the rare gem.I have been bidding on the auction items and something's not right with them. Not once, not twice, not three times but four separate times, I have put in my right before the end of the auction, watched the timer tick down to zero, see that the ending bid is within the range between my starting bid and my max bid, get excited because I assume it was a legit auction and I had "won" it, check and see that it's listed under "auctions I have won", check my email for the invoice on Wednesday morning and then POOF two of the three things that I had won from last night had evaporated from my account page. This is the fourth time this has happened to me. Infuriatingly, three of those times involved a certain item that I've been trying to "win" from the bin store. Every time I win the auction, every time someone removes it from my account. Weird.If someone there wanted to set these items aside for themselves or for a friend or family member, they should've done that before posting these on the auction. Either way, I'm done with this place

Rude security saying I opened a box that was already opened and when I answered back to defend myself the first thing he says is if you don’t like it you can leave. Makes me wonder how he feels about himself kicking people out the store like that and how many customers this store looses because of his attitude.

Place was very small and not many bins at all. Mostly garbage here. Allot of home depot returns. Defective items are mostly here. Tons of broken glass in the bins

This place is awesome I love the deals that I get there and it is help me furnish my home to where it is beautiful and I just signed up to go and view the auctions which I didn't know they had until now so I'm looking forward to that as well. I moved into my own home almost a year now and I bought things and Furnishings for my home and for me this place is amazing with the selection that they give you. I included a few pictures I got the couch cover for me couch and it only cost me $6 the pants and the shoes and PJ's I got them on the $ 3 day so amazing!

We came for the Black Friday Sale and it was so crowded...but expected. The store was clean and fully stocked. We found some great bargains as we always do.

I will not go to this place again, there is a lot of garbage, open boxes and broken things, and the store security guard behaves very disrespectfully and even said that he does not allow me to buy anything here and I need to leave because I looked into an open box, although There are a lot of them there. It’s a shame that customers are treated this way!

Get there early and don't be afraid to ask the staff to open a box to be sure you're getting a good deal!

I have friends that love it and i can see that it might have potential but for me it was just a hot mess of junk tossed in waist high bins to sort through.Dont get me wrong we love a discount or liquidation store but most or those have some sort or organization, even if inside large metal buildings with no decor. This one does not, other than pulling out items they feel deserve should cost more than $10 and putting them on tables up front.Edit: Owner says i was confused on location but i visited the one by foodlion across from the old mall in Greenville.. where my gps took me.

This was my first time in the thrift store. The staff were very helpful. They are careful when opening packages for you so you can see what is in the box or package. I had several items and they were patient with me. At the bin the starting day is Friday there's seven dollars per item and goes down each day. Tuesday was $2 a day. I got some very nice wrist splints and neuropathy type products. Everything looked good. I did not see any damaged goods there was a box and it had written that is did not work so helpful because there is a no return policy. It was a fun way to find items for your home at such good prices. I will definitely go shopping again at Carolina Bin Store.

This place is a must visit. If you want a true treasure hunt experience, you will definitely find it here. They post pictures on their Facebook page every week of some of the good things they will have in the bins, but there is always so many more good things than they even pictured. Great bin store. Super friendly team. Check it out!

My family and I have visited this location several times, have gotten overcharged before, but I did believe it was a human mistake so never did I made it an issue, or a bad review.since we was not new to the business we are aware of the rules.Some boxes are usually falling apart, but we understand the concept of the store so we don’t mind it. it seems like the employees where afraid of us stealing or opening the boxes, we was fallowed around the store and they told us multiple time to don’t open the packages, (it was a pare of safety shoes) what I had on my hands and they had no box! 😮‍💨The manner that the employee came to me, and the rude laud way she attempted to speak to me was not just wrong, but unprofessional, 7 out of 10 items in sore are junk, so I don’t understand why come at people like if they protecting gold 😂We had not open any items and like I told her pull the camera I give you $100 cash for every item we opened, that is how sure I was we didn’t open anything, all she had to tell me was “if you don’t like the store you can go”.I like the sore I just don’t like incompetent workers 🤷🏽‍♀️, as a Business owner, I understand the impact of bad workers and bad reviews, and because of so I am living a 5 star review, judge yourself. Lots of good items to be found if you are patient. My only issue is one of the men yelled at me for looking inside of a bag (I didn't know I couldn't). He LOUDLY gave me a whole spill about where you were supposed to go to get assistance with opening items for inspection and then he literally let a woman he PERSONALLY knew open a box at the bin and NOT in the authorized area. It was a lack of professionalism, showing personal favors, and just outright rude on his part. Other than that it was ok.

This review is long overdue! This is the best bin store in the upstate! I am here every single week and this store has not disappointed one bit! The only bin store I have been to that has consistent great merchandise! I talk with the owner every single week and he cares what his customers think and he takes care of his clientele! We are all competing in a sense but this place alone has brought so many of us shoppers together as friends! As always, see you guys Friday!

I'm a fan... I will return repeatedly. It really don't matter when you go... it's fun to rummage and get things at a discounted price. This is returned product purgatory. Many things are broke or are missing parts.... still good bargains.

The owner was rude and made assumptions about us opening boxes when the box completely fell apart and all the pieces went everywhere and we really could've used his help. Then at checkout we got charged for 2 extra things on a $6 day and all the people that got anything good or won anything was friends with the staff. 2/10 WONT GO AGAIN

This place used to be amazing and full of good deals and products. However, over the last few months it has gone downhill. We went there for Black Friday and the big ticket items were not that impressive. I obtained the one big ticket item, a sweeper. I grabbed it when a worker was throwing it back into the bins. I grabbed it and took it up to test. The worker informed me they used tested it for a customer and it worked and since the libe was extremely long. I DID NOT NEED to wait. I took the employee at their word. They LIED for an easy sell. It does NOT work and I cannot return it. If an empolyee knew it did not work, it needs to be thrown away, not sold. Smh.

This place is very disrespectful a group of our special needs clients went here today and as soon as they walked in the man work said you need to watch them like they was going to steal or something he was so disrespectful we will not go back hope you want either!!!!!!
