This thread will include three different occasions.My wife and I were purchasing a hyper tough tote and some groceries. We get up to a register with a heavy set light skinned young black lady as the cashier. She never greets you she looks at you like you are trash. we put the groceries up for her to scan and then she asked for us to open the box or tote that was already open so she could check inside. I was in a bad mood and I looked at my husband and I said I'm not dealing with this. So we just left the store. On a second occasion we were in there late at night doing our grocery shopping and picking up a few items that we needed because we live in a tent. A secret shopper who was not secret followed us everywhere. My husband and I went back and she automotive to pick up a battery charger and when I came around the corner this gentleman was going through my basket. I grabbed my basket and walked off until my husband and I was going to use the restroom as my husband was coming out of the automotive department with the charger the gentleman scared him so bad he dropped the charger. I came from the bathroom until my husband I was going to the truck because I wasn't feeling well and I went I just left out and he stayed behind to pick out and get the charger that we needed he got to the cashier which was the same exact lady the first time who was very upset with him that he had paid cash number one and number two she tried to accuse him of stealing even though she rang him up and handed him his receipt because it still had the spider alarm on it and he needed it taken off. Then the secret shopper came up and said how did he pay she told him by cash and they were angry. Then last night again we were there. We were struggling to get money transferred from one account to another so we were asking if we could use partial payments or if we could use a tap and pay which they don't have obviously so what we did was we rang up a few items at a time to pay for it on certain cards. She decided that she was going to stand right beside us as we're ringing everything up and we're having to take a few things off. She suspends our transactionit says she has to go scan our stuff at a register my husband says what are items still be on the screen when you do that and she said no but they were there. We get to the register and I'm pulling the groceries out to him to hurt his skin did she looks at me and says I need to see in your bed I said I need you to bring up the groceries first. She says I need you to let me look in your bag.. yes I had items in my bag that we're going to be paid on a separate card. I'm frustrated because it's not letting me log into my app. I turned around and told her I'm trying to access my account. I turn around and I tell my husband babe I cannot get in my account let's go outside where the Wi-Fi is not blocked. As we're walking towards the door she yells loudly halfway across the store ma'am ma'am. I turned around looked at her and said I told you I have to go fix my account I will be back. My husband and I were so embarrassed we could not walk back in. She already had it in her mind that we were going to steal I guess because I was standing outside of the self-checkout waiting for my husband to bring me my phone. I will be going back up there today to speak to the manager about it. I believe she needs to be fired. And because it was at self-checkout everything is on camera.

Seldom have registers open. Mostly self-checkout. Most employees except for stockers are standing around just talking or playing with their phones. An Employee motioned in Cust.Serv. to check out with her. After my purchase, I told her of the overcharge. I was polite, but she and another employee wasnt. I don't understand how they can charge me $30 for a $9 item, then tell me that I looked at the price wrong. Then only wanted to give me 10% of my money back. That is robbery! I proved the price was $9.00. They still refused to give my money back. Said it was Company policy to only return 10%. I threatened to call the law and asked were she and the other lady splitting people's money between them? She immediately gave my money back. This was all done at Customer Service desk. Also being cheated on prices of other items in store often. I refuse to do service with underhanded people.

This store is ran by lazy rude individuals, family women... I've had more than one experience spoken to Bruce Lee and we're unable to be assisted because the employee had no clue where to find the items you were searching for.. to top it off. Made a late night run emergency for diapers we were unaware we were out of it's 5 minutes to 11:00 waiting in line at self-checkout only to be informed very rudely that they're not going to ring anyone else up and that we can leave the store without our items. She stated clearly n rudely well everyone knows we closed at 11:00. Well it isn't 11pm or is 10.58. and simply put

Requested assistance in the bicycle department young lady said it wasn’t her department it’s the garden center. I asked her to call someone to come assist me. she rudely walked away,young man came over with dreads couldn’t remember his name very short he instructing me to look at the height chart and I said well there’s another bike I need assistance with next thing I know he was gone.went to the other side to get the bicycle that my granddaughter wanted was struggling to get it down , young man walked up to me and said let me get this down for you.Thank you

Went to Walmart at 300 bypass 25 south today at approximately 2:30. Had less than 10 items all small toiletries except 1 med plastic container. When got to front to check out, this was about 2:40,there were NO registers open, only the self checkout, and there was a line waiting there, approximately 5 people. As I and my husband are in our 70’s we both can’t stand for long periods of time, therefore, I decided to go to the Customer Service Desk to check out. There were 3 ladies behind the counter talking and looking at their cell phones, finally 1 of them said she could help me at which time she moved to the register on my left, near the wall. I told her that I just needed to check out my items as there were no open registers and the self checkout was backed up. She told me I couldn’t check out here that they only handle returns and I would have to go out to the others, I again said they were ALL closed at which time she said she could not do it. This store is close to my home and the one we always go to and have spent quite a lot of money in there, but, due to the rudeness of this lady, all the checkouts being closed, I will NOT be going back to this store. I f you just walk around and look, you will see employees on their phones a great deal of the time. This particular store also hardly ever answers their phone, this needs to be addressed also!

Well, the only real positive thing I can say is they had everything I was there to buy. Of course, there were only 2-3 checkout lanes open besides self checkout, which often has a long line as well. So it took me 5-7 minutes to get what I needed, then 10-15 minutes in line to get checked out! I really don't know why each Walmart has 15-20 checkout lines bc there's rarely more than 2-3 open!That's all I've got to say about that! Lol.

Both Walmart stores in Greenwood have one thing in common, and that is unfriendly cashiers. Goods may be cheaper but not necessarily quality, so we limit our shopping there to two or three times a year when we are unable to find certain items anywhere else in town.

There were only 3 registers open that had cashiers and self checkout was open. Lines were down the isles of customers waiting. The cashier on register 4 which was the line I was in, was on her phone holding a full fledged conversation and the slowest line to check out. I could hear her conversation clearly and the gentleman that was on the phone so could the customer behind me. This cashier was pleasent and did address me as it was my time to check out. BUT IT WAS A DISTRACTION AND HER LINE WAS GOING SLOW. THERE ARE MANY LINES AND ONLY 3 WERE OPEN AND HAD CASHIERS WHY!!!!. WALMART DO BETTER. Very disappointed and embarrassed about my local Walmart. Walmart+ called the store to have some of my items substituted gorgeous my delivery. (The membership i pay each month) And the manager would NOT allow it!! So much for customer service. These stor managers and employees are not like they use to be. BRING BACK BI-LO!!!!

Purchase a memory foam futon on 03/06/2023. for $239.00. Had to return it, because of missing middle section. Today 03/07/2023 before noon, return to customer service for a replacement for the same item.When the CSR scan the replacement it was $25.00 more.CSR called for their manager, her name is Keisha. Only help she gave was to say prices go up all the time, but the price did not change in store location, I inform her I purchased it yesterday and should be honored the same price because it was a DEFECTED product.which was missing a section in the futon. The manager said I had to pay. And I stated, I was going to do a review. The manager stated do your review and batted the eyelashes and walked off.Is this how Walmart treat their customers/ members. It hasn't been 24 hours of the first purchase and it was a DEFECTED/missing part.Thank you Walmart I'll go somewhere else to shop!!

The fresh food department management is unreliable and don't communicate well. I will not return to this location I wouldn't recommend working here either the management staff isn't professional or respectable. This store Never have the items I'm looking for.

You know I got to admit when I was in Columbus Ohio and Monticello Kentucky, I was not real impressed with Walmart Superstore. But since I've moved to Greenwood South Carolina I must say that this Walmart is one of the best and most well stocked Superstores that I have been in for walmart. It seems they have a large variety of things you would need and every time I want something I can get on my phone Google it and Walmart comes up as having what I am looking for I am very pleased with this Walmart they do a very good job their prices are reasonable their staff is friendly and lots of help. I am very impressed with this Walmart

There never enough cashiers. Usually just 1 with a very long line and self checkout is backed up 10+ people deep with people who don't want to be using self checkout (carts with 25+ items with no room to use the checkout).

This Walmart is by far one of the best I have ever been too! Almost everything in it is on clearance. Also, the shoe selection is unreal. There has to be at least 10 aisles of shoes, all on clearance. I pass by it on my way to college and never noticed it. This Walmart is definitely where you want to be!

They’re open until 11pm but will close and lock all doors at 10:45 to keep people out. The employees will also tell you they’re close and to leave.

Well I stopped in the service department just to get a gallon of windshield washer fluid went to check out and the security lady or what she was that was just standing there just wanted to check her watch as the poor lady that was trying to check people out and also getting people info of there cars for service who could barely walk but trying her best instead of the skinny lady trying to help I stood over 10 minutes and just left this place definitely needs more support for there people not just lazy employees

Every 2-3 weeks I place an online grocery pick-up order to feed my family of 6 that includes 4 children. The staff here are always really quick with assistance and polite. I always feel at ease and its best when I don't even have to take my children into the store with me to shop. Every experience is 10/10, even if I've had to cancel an order or had any mishaps.

I called this Walmart and spoke to someone in the automotive department. I asked about oil changes and the lady I spoke to told me they had an appointment for 6 o’clock, that if I could get there by 5:30 the spot was mine. I got there right after 5 and my spot was given away.

Eddie the manager of automotive dept. Needs to be fired or at least demoted. Customer service skills are terrible .if you buy a battery from them you cannot take it back to exchange for smaller battery even thought price is the same. And you have a receipt and you bought the battery the day before and could not use because it would not fit in battery box Eddie said to exchange battery would have to be defective hell just bought it the day before why would it be defective. You can find most all necessities and beyond at Walmart. I shop for organic food choices and they have become better at carrying a larger variety of organic foods. However, I would like to see a larger selection of organic cheeses, organic coffee creamers, and organic chocolate.For online shopping, I would like to see Walmart be an alternative to Amazon and be able to shop brand name clothing, books, fine art, etc., that you can buy through Amazon. So,the prices were a little bit more competitive.

Everything expensive and don't offer any discounts for us to work checking our items out. Walmart used to be great, most all american,now not.

Even though it was the night before Christmas Eve and a lot of the shelves were about empty and the store was packed and people were being rude; I actually went through a line with a cashier that was about to get off for the night and I had a difficult order...1 of my items didn't have a tag it was the only 1 in the store and when she entered the # from inside on the tag of the garment it still wasn't coming up in the system, she got a manager and found a similar item to use then I had several gift cards plus my debit card to pay. I was a very aggravating customer and she could have lost it with me but she went above and beyond to help me. She also kept a dialogue going with the people in line behind me and had us all enjoying a conversation while I was holding up the line with my difficult purchase. Everyone was laughing and talking it was pleasant...she was awesome... Merry Christmas 🎄

Walmart is not the store it used to be. The prices on the items ring higher are the self check out and I'm beyond tired of it. A Walmart super center, with only one human operating a cash register is unacceptable. I do my best to shop elsewhere as often as possible.
