Rude employees. Cashier rolled her eyes when I came to her checkout. Sorry you have to work. And $5 for 1 cream cheese is insane. Store is over priced. I’ve bought several things from here & brought them home & found mold. Wish they would have replaced the Bi-lo with Ingles or Publix. So the quality matched the prices your paying here

glinda was very rude when i had to return strawberries that were molded. rolled her eyes at me when i dropped my recipe. every single last pack of strawberries was molded thank goodness for courtney very friendly and helpful

I have to give a personal standing ovation to the KJ's deli. 🏻‍♀️👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻 I came in Saturday completely distraught by another business canceling my food order 12 hours prior to our party of over 150 guest. Mind you, I ordered a month prior and pre-paid for the chicken and called to confirm multiple times. KJ'S rallied to cover the failure of the other grocery store. Within minutes, they made calls and orchestrated a plan to get people to come in on a SUNDAY to fry 250 pieces of beautifully golden brown, huge pieces of chicken for me. My heart & gratitude cannot begin to shout the praises of these wonderful men and women enough. I have decided that I will go no other place for our chicken, whether personal or large catered events. Thank you, thank you, THANK YOU KJ'S deli staff for coming to my rescue and becoming my personal heros 🏻‍♂️ 🏻‍♀️. Everyone at the party was so impressed with your delicious chicken. Not only were we won over by the taste of your fabulous chicken but with your integrity and character to go above and beyond. And to the precious lady that put me at easy and hugged me as I cried like a baby...Ma'am you were a calming peace in the middle of my crisis. Great meat. Quality cuts. Clean department. Potatoes on sale are firm, but not green. Good value on everything I purchased. Ladies at checkout super nice and helpful. Perry is always nice. I couldn't get a electric cart to work, when I mentioned it to him. I observed him checking them as I hobbled through check out.

Every time I shop there, many of the fruits and vegetables that I wanted to buy are moldy or beginning to rot. Do NOT buy anything frozen, the employees are lazy and let everything sit out and melt as they stock it. Everything will be melted and then refrozen. And every time without exception there's some sort or issue. The employees are incompetent, sarcastic and rude, and the management is a joke. Also they have Publix prices (or higher) with worse than walmart service. They only get away with this nonsense because there's no other competition close by. But be I'll driving the 20 minutes out of my way from now on. The management should be ashamed.

I bought a 6 pk. Of pepsi and it was 6.48 . I will not be going back . I can get it at a better price somewhere else . Sorry , but everything there is higher . Im done.

You know , despite my reluctance to leave a negative review, this place just forces you to wish you’d gone somewhere else. Nobody’s friendly, prices are crazy high. Where do they come up with these insanely high prices ? What this store needs a little competition. But the clincher is three times in past three weeks I have attempted to purchase a lottery ticket only to be left at the counter for so long that , instead of looking like some kind of idiot, I just left. The manager must’ve been outside smoking, as she was on last visit and a checkout clerk had to hold up the line while she searched for the manager to override a mistake on the cash register. Please people , just save yourself some grief and frustration and just drive on in to Greenwood. I won’t be back.

Produce is in poor condition. Prices are steep... watermelon & cantaloupe were just under $4 3 weeks ago and now they're just under $7. Meat in cooler is questionable in regard to freshness. Example, breakfast sausage was brown surrounded by pink sausage packets. Store cleanliness is poor also.

kjs is a nice enough grocery store. Its clean and in good shape. Theres only two things about kjs I think most ppl will agree with me. First is prices. They are high on their prices. A good amount higher than most stores. Its because of location. Your paying for convenience of not having to go all the way into town. Lake traffic in summer. Cornaca and those even towards 96. Its only store for miles. Next thing is closing time. They close at 9pm every night. That can be pretty early if you don't get off till 5 or 6 have kids games etc yet still need milk for tomorrow morning. They are closed. So ok store just remember take extra cash and go early.

Went there recently. A cockroach the size of a mouse followed me down the cereal aisle. The fruit/vegetable man was impatient with me because I was in his way while I picked out a ready made bag of lemons and 6 pre-washed sweet potatoes. Got home and three of the lemons had blue mold on them. Not a pleasant experience at this store.

I shop here often due to the convenience of the location. I was skeptical when KJ's took over at this location at first but I now shop here at least 4 times a week. The store is clean and in an orderly state. Has a good variety/selection to choose from being it is a smaller grocery store. Staff has always been friendly and helpful. The only reason I rated at 4 stars was, you should pay attention to prices because they tend to be higher on some items that can be purchased for a lot less. The apps coupons are helpful at cutting some of the cost down. Overall I recommend this place if you live around the area.

The Rabbit stopped by the market for some outdoor lettuce in the parking lot. I guess the rabbit decided to eat out and not visit the store. Since this company has taken over the merchandise is a little over priced. So only visit if we need a certain item.

Customer service is bordering on unacceptable. Meat quality is terrible. If you buy meat here cook it that same day or freeze it immediately. Letting it refrigerate for a single day is too long.Redeeming quality: the cashiers and baggers are exceptional. They're generally pleasant to speak with and offer to help elderly and disabled individuals. Kudos.

KJ's Market IGA seems to be a Very Clean and Nice Store with Many Nice People that work there. Today I tried some of their Breakfast Fare in their Deli Department. I had Cheese Grits , Scrambled Eggs , Bacon and Biscuit. Everything was Really Good ! Thanks for the Hard Work ! And THANKS AGAIN !

I have a few reasons to dislike this place however I am no longer shopping here at all because as I write this , I am again ,for more then the fourth or fifth time , shopping at Publix to rebuy 2 gallons of Milk I bought at KJs just not even 24 hours ago and had to dump down the drain within 30 minutes of buying them.They had good expiration dates but milk on both gallons :1 whole and 1 chocolate , was beginning stages of souring .They do not store milk correctly and this happens all the time.I will drive 10 miles out of the way to avoid this place.They put items in weird locations as well. Try finding Cole slaw. Hint: it’s not in the deli next to potato salad. It’s randomly in the middle of hot dogs and bacon for some weird reason . So locating potato salad you will think Cole slaw is not an option .You’ll thank me for saving you time next time you have a cookout and are in a rush and feel you’ll now have to waste another 30 minutes because “KJs didn’t have the Cole slaw”.Ice cream cones are nowhere near ice cream or chocolate syrup like every other store. I think they were mixed in with the canned peanuts. Really weird organization .Just two examples but often basic location you find in most stores doesn’t apply hereDoesn’t matter anymore because I’m out of there.I trust the gas station for fresher milk and will buy it there before this place if I have to.DONT TRUST THE MILKThe employees are great!It’s all the management and corporate.I would subtract one week off all the expiration dates on any of the milk on that lower shelf. It’s not encased and it probably not keeping that milk proper temperature until it’s sold. There is no way any of that milk on the lower shelf is 40 degrees which is what milk should be stored at , at all times in a store.IN RESPONSE TO THE OWNERS REPLY BELOW:Thank you for your quick reply but I’m not wasting my time any further as I’ve wasted enough time and money reshopping items like milk within buying these items less than 24 hours ago from you.However feel free to forward my comment to whomever at your corporate.While I am not accusing anyone of deliberate negligience concerning the milk there I am telling you , you have a serious issue .The proper reply would have been reassuring me of the temperature you maintain on the milk.If I do go in there in the future I can assure you I’m bringing a digital temperature gun and spot checking temps on all that milk just for my knowledge.I’m really not typing this to be mean or vengeful.I really did want to like your store.I’m not going to get salmonella from what is more then the fifth or sixth time drinking spoiling milk that has a week left on the expiration date. This is not a one time thing...its frequent. I have dumped gallon after gallon and I cant ignore it anymore.After seeing the generic reply, while appreciated, I would just assume save my money and time shopping elsewhere. It’s a hard pass that I’m going to waste time any further then this. You are aware of it so fix it.Trust me , my shopping experience is now improved and enhanced.BTW The milk I am constantly dumping is Hickory Hills Whole and Chocolate in the gallon on the lower shelf.As of 24 hours ago they were labeled with an expiration of March 21st.Cant help you anymore then that.
