Absolutely disgusted with the experience I had in store in Greenwood SC today my granddaughter and her autistic 3 ye old and a 1 yr old daughter drives to Greenwood every Friday morning for his therapy and always stops at goodwill every Friday been doing this for months she takes a wagon for her children to be strapped in side so he can’t run around the store she keeps her children under control at all times and he’s calm that way so I usually ride w her I’m her grandmother but today we took separate cars bc I was coming frm Georgia so we meet at goodwill I arrive a few minutes before her so I go inside get a cart and was looking at wallet’s and purses right inside door there’s a lady at the register talking w another cashier and I hear her say oh my God here comes that girl w that wagon again she always gives me a hard time I’m not checking her out today you can do I’m not I can’t stand her these were her words so she definitely had no idea it was my granddaughter I calmly turned to her and said are u talking about the young lady w the children in the wagon pointing to them outside she was still buckling the children in she said yes that one so then I ask her Wht was the problem w her and she said I can’t stand waiting on them I said excuse the hell out of you that’s my granddaughter you’re speaking of and how dare you speak about her like that to another employee and the other employee didn’t say anything to the fact that she was being very rude degrading and hurtful w Wht she was saying I ask for the manager twice before the other employee finally call for one this lady had the audacity to tell me she could say Wht she wanted to about her so I asked if she had a problem w her she should tell her my granddaughter not another employee and everyone else that was in line or in the vicinity I told her she should be ashamed of herself for treat this young mother or any other paying customer that way so by this time I raised my voice bc I was terribly shocked hurt and angry I told her she should be ashamed of herself she’s working there to help people not degrade them I told her the money we spend in there pays her to work she replied goodwill pays my check I said where does goodwill money come from it comes frm paying customers she smiled as if she really didn’t care so by that time I was shouting and I told her I’d never spend a dime in this goodwill and social media would definitely kno how she treated a young mother w young disabled children I don’t kno the training she got for customer service on this job but she clearly failed my opinion if she worked for me I’d fired her immediately she needs more training on how to be more compassionate w the public or put her in the bk sorting or stocking she doesn’t hav Wht it takes for customer service I kno her job is not always easy but she proved w her attitude and smart mouth and smiled like it was funny that customer service is not the position for her I told her that my granddaughter would never ever hav spoken to her in that way and her words were I don’t kno her I don’t kno Wht she would have said I said exactly you don’t kno her she’s a wonderful stay at home mom w 2 children and she’s one hell of a mom w respect and compassion for everyone who struggles daily w her special needs child on a daily basis she has always shopped at thrift stores and goodwill and has always been proud of the bargains she gets for her home and children she of all people NEVER DESERVES TO BE TREATED THIS WAY BY NO ONEThe manager came over and I explained Wht happened while the cashier just smiled the manager is Jennifer Crispthe cashier name is Wretha she would not give me her last name I would like answers to how this is being handled and I hav people going bk into Greenwood goodwill to see if she’s still wrk in or if she still a cashier I’ll follow up w corporate to make sure this was handled properly I appreciate that it will be my name is Christy Cothran

I love the selection of clothing here. And its usually pretty neat as far as the placing of the sizes. You can find great clothes foe every member of the family!

I love the goodwill for shopping purposes. We just racked up on brand new toys for the kids for Christmas still in packages for .89 to 5.98. a deal you can't beat.

With the rearrangment of clothes, it does seem like less variety to choose from and some racks were just almost empty, especially in men's section. But it was easier to look at items being less crowded on shelving racks. Prices weren't easily seen so I was unsure about prices on clothes because some prices have went up.

I didn't get the chance to look around as much as I wanted too since we were on a short schedule. But still found some nice finds with good prices. Just had an issue with the cashier being crude about some used crumpled tape that my daughter found and asked if she could throw it away. I didn't see it being necessary to be rude to child picking up trash.

It would be nice if they had more than one person to check you out, especially when the person in front of you have a shopping cart full and others waiting to check out only have 3 or 4 items. I enjoy shopping at Goodwill especially on Tuesday for the senior discounts.

There's really not much inventory here, and even less so in regards to quality, but that doesn't stop the prices from being high. The staff are generally friendly though.

This is the second times this has happened from this location. My wife and I liked to go to the goodwill store after leaving bible study on Tuesday night. Normally we get to the store about 15 minutes before closing. We understand that the employees wants to go home so we go in with the thought that we only have 10-12 minutes to look around. When we walked in the store tonight, the cashier said 7 minutes. Not hello or welcome to goodwill. With an aggressive tone, “7 minutes “. Is this how you train your employees to treat your customers? The time before, the same thing happened. I am normally not the one to write a review but this is getting out of hand.

This store is for the most part, like every other Goodwill I've ever been in. Nothing spectacular, housewares are overpriced, considered many things are broken or have missing parts. This store is always being rearranged, but still always looks unkept and unorganized. Not the cleanest location I've ever been in, but not the worst either. Most visits here can be summed up as, "meh."

The manager at this store is so hateful. I spent 42.67 the past week,and that’s just the past week mind you. People have bad days here n there, but this past week I’ve seen such rudeness from this lady. 2xs in 5 days, I’ve worked with the public in retail ,fast food, and grocery stores. This is not permitted, you want that customer back is how I’ve always been taught, and common courtesy to another human being is something we do to coincide in this world. The store is clean, and every other employee has been very kind,helpful and working hard. All the things for sale at this store are nice, a lot of very nice items. I don’t want to quit coming to this store. It’s close to home and I love shopping here. But I can’t come and deal with this woman anymore. There’s another goodwill down the street north of this store. I won’t be able to go 2-4xs wkly,but for my sanity I will not be back!!!! Management needs changed,I’m sure whom ever she deals with would agree. Hopefully she changes. I’m gonna say a prayer for her!

It has a variety of merchandise that frequently changes. I also like getting clothing at $1 each on Thursdays, Fridays, or Saturdays. The prices are often great, but sometimes they want more than what the product can be gotten new. I also like that they do job training for the local area.

I used to love this place. I was looking at purses yesterday. I found a backpack that was marked for $1.85. There were 3 stickers on it and all said $1.85. I went to check out and the cashier said it wasn’t the right and they “Don’t even mark purses and backpacks that’s low.” Well who did then? Two of the stickers were on the outside and inside. I want to know who does the pricing because this is the second time this has happened to me.

They are shorthanded and closing earlier and earlier. Too bad they find it necessary to start announcing that they will be closing 2 hours before hand. Really?!?! Why don't they just start poking us with cattle prods and corral us twords the door upon arrival. Their obsession with closing makes for very stressful shopping. They even close the dressing and restrooms an hour before they close. Why not just post a big sign stating "we hate you, go away" It's getting ridiculous, as are their prices. It's a thrift store stocked with donations for goodness sake. They've lost sight of their purpose.

Middle aged woman with tightly curled short hair had the audacity to harass my son in the bathroom 25 minutes before closing.She called in the bathroom "is anyone in there?" To which he said "yes" which should have been the end of the conversation but she had the nerve to keep talking to him while he is in there trying to use the restroom and starts fussing at him "well they are supposed to be closed and you shouldn't be in there." There were no signs up indicating the restrooms were closed other than a caution wet floor sign and the store itself didn't close for 25minutes. Also worth noting is my son has a medical condition and had to go. Don't harrass a child using the restroom, especially when it's a grown woman harrassing a young boy.Also upon entering a different woman greeted us with "welcome to Goodwill. We close in 27 minutes " with a very angry attitude. We know they close at 7pm. We went in with the idea that we would only stay for 10 minutes and don't need a snide reminder of their closing time.But I'm utterly furious about the woman harrassing my son in the bathroom.

Nice employees but prices for some things are a little high on some things. Cheaper thrift stores in the area or pay same price for better quality items and other places. We still enjoy shopping here to kill time

I love it here. You can get unique gifts here. My dad can get his button up short sleeves shirts there. It is just a place you can get find a little bit of everything and it is quality products and at cheap price. I really love this store.

I love shopping here great stuff at affordable prices find brand names new clothes and shoes. Its awesome. Staff really need to be reevaluated though most are quite rude. Very few are friendly there.

Cluttered, crowded, overstocked and over priced. These used items were donates for free to Goodwill and yet you pay more for any one item than you do a new item at a department store. The only thing that I like about Goodwill are the employees.Goodwill helping others to get a job is a joke. Goodwill only helps themselves!
