I've been using this Petsmart location for about 10 years now. I like it because it's never too busy and the selection is good. But Boy!!! The prices just keep going up. So, I usually scout out the clearance items and check out what's on sale. I mostly just get what I need. Staff is always nice.

If I could, I would give ZERO stars. Be careful when purchasing a bird from PetSmart!!!I am so disappointed. Unfortunately, today I woke to him passed away. I have only had him about a month. I truly believe there was something wrong with him when I got him. I don’t know.From healthy to dead in less than a month! No draft, warm temp, good food, millet and love could not save him.I bought my new little parakeet, Dixi at PetSmart, Lauren’s Road, Greenville, SC about 3 weeks ago. He is happy, healthy and I love him so much!!! Thank you for the excellent service and a happy, healthy pet!!!

There is a hidden $10 handling fee added to the advertised $37 grooming “puppy” package, claimed to be necessary for handling a “puppy.” This fee was imposed even though the dog’s demeanor had been assessed with clippers by the groomer, Jackie, and another employee who had previously groomed her confirmed she would cope well. Jackie appeared disinterested in servicing and seemed to look for excuses to avoid the appointment, adding the fee without prior notification. Her overall demeanor indicated she did not want to be there. Additionally, a store employee initially refused to provide the manager’s name and business number in front of several customers but later reversed his stance and identified the manager as “Mark Coleman.” I plan to raise these issues with both corporate and the store manager.

I recently did an online order and of course paid for it online ahead of time because I didn't have a lot of time to stop and shop. When I arrived to pick up my item, there were two people working registers with long lines, and one other young lady was talking to one of the register workers. She turned to walk away and I asked her if she could help me with my online order. I was told no. They told me I had to stand in the line at one of the registers so that the register attendant could get my order for me. What is the purpose of ordering online if I am going to have to wait in line at the register? The young lady simply walked away instead of helping me. Terrible, terrible customer service.

Nothing that we were looking for was in stock. Staff was unfriendly and unwilling to help. We were there 30 minutes before close and they were locking the front door. Many of the fish in tanks were no longer living and tanks needed cleaning badly. I understand a large pet store at the end of a Saturday business day could be overwhelming but this store really disappointed. Hope they can fix some things since it is in a great location.

If I could give zero I would, I came in well before they closed to get 2 fish and I was only one of two people in the whole store (but multiple workers) I asked the lady working up front if someone could help me get fish and she responded “I don’t do that you’ll have to find the other person that does” not to mention she had such a disgusting attitude and tone. Well I go to find the other worker and she sees me approaching so she walks to the back, I wait until she comes out after she was back there almost 25-30 min at this point she proceeded to tell me that they weren’t selling them anymore because it was to late. Disgusting workers do better.

We use Petsmart for prescription dog food and cat supplies. (Laurens Road location has full service vet and full inventory of Hills and other prescription-only wet & dry foods).Large store. Very well stocked and kept up to date. Prices are fairly steep for some things but feels more a function of our economy than of a store problem. Petsmart has good selection on special diet food, bulk litter, and for certain fish and bird items. Very broad range and sizes of kibbles. (Except Fromms. 🤨 I buy that for our cat at Hollywood Feed).If desired, always ask for an emailed receipt first thing when you checkout. Once rung up, cashier system has no way to generate a digital receipt.

This PetSmart was clean, convenient, and had kind staff. They unfortunately did not have crickets, but they do allow you to get 25 free crickets if they are not stocked as long as you go up to an employee and inform them. (Valid until 12/31/23)

I highly suggest you take your dog elsewhere for grooming or any other services you want from PetSmart on Laurens Rd. I called on Friday the 24th to make an appointment as soon as possible for my cocker spaniel. They specifically said they'd have time Monday morning at 10:30. And I could drop off my dog at 9:45 a.m. I get there nobody was at the desk to even check you in. Somebody finally came in from the store and said you have to come back at 10:00 and then they argued about what I was told on Friday treating the customer like they don't know what they're talking about. I returned at 10:09 a.m. and then they said they don't have an appointment for me. Then the store manager came in not even apologizing and I said this is ridiculous and all he would say is thank you. I even displayed my phone record of over 3 minutes. They did not apologize or even attempt to work me in.

Normally I don’t leave bad reviews, but I am thoroughly disappointed in this PetSmart EVERY time I go in. Staff members are kind overall, yet every time she gets groomed, the time frame they give me is always incorrect relative to when my dog is finished. For example, if they tell me she will be done in two hours, I know I should expect to hear back in about six hours. I’m just trying to figure out what they could possibly be doing for so long. I had a professional groomer back at home, and they only took three hours every single time without fail. I have a feeling they overbooked their clientele here. They do a good job with the groom, I just wish that they could communicate with me better. Whenever I call them to ask about her status, instead of being friendly, I always get a rude response. In fact, whenever I called to ask about the time frame, they told me that I could pay extra to have her done on time??? I will not be returning to this location. I have tried giving them 3 different chances.

Pet friendly place. The employees are all very knowledgeable when it comes to birds, fish, reptiles, dogs, cats and aquatic plants. I buy for a turtle and a bird and ferrets. I have a few other pets that I purchase for elsewhere, but this is my go to place for most of my pet supply needs.

Went searching for frozen blood worms for my mimic saddle puffer fish, Toby. He is a recent addition to my tank. While I was house sitting and then in NY, he stopped eating. I needed to act fast and did not have time to wait for delivery options. They had a decent supply of dry and frozen marine fish foods.

Easy online to store price was great for the large dog crates, Refrigerated pet foods are usually at competitive prices . Bird food has a nice selection of seeds and pelletier food.I hope you bring back Roudybush to your stock soon. The online to car pickup is really nice.

Granted it was 7:00 on a Monday night, but all the employees were outside getting shopping carts, so we stood 4 orders deep waiting in line for a while before anyone rang us up. But when they saw us the associates all hopped on registers to help us.I was super excited to see they had the brand of cat food my picky girl likes! Not super excited that it's more expensive than my local grocery store, but the grocery store is out,so I paid extra to make her happy.They already have some really cute pet Halloween stuff displayed.

Keeps cats locked behind a glass door, can't interact and have to schedule appointments just to see or adopt any of them. Why make it so difficult to adopt an animal.
