This is a lovely little store with everything a Gardner could need for seed starting, growing grass and hydroponic gardening. They carry a selection of Baker Creek seeds Baker Creek seeds are heirloom varieties of non-GMO organic seeds.They have a friendly canine greeter. The gentleman working the store was very patient and helpful. He answered my many questions about starting my seeds, which seeds were best for my conditions, and helped me pick out everything I needed to get started. They have high-quality gardening tools, grass seeds in a variety of sizes and types of grasses. The original store is in Asheville. I will surely visit that the next time I’m in Asheville as the store is a little gem. I can’t wait to go back in a couple of weeks when they get their next shipment of Baker Creek seeds.

Seeing all the great reviews then felt let down after visiting the store. Called the store first if they had a certain brand available and was told they did but it was for a different brand. Also, store doesn’t label prices on lots of items. I stopped asking for prices after asking on two items. There were more items I was interested in but it was such a hassle asking. I want to support local businesses but this just makes me want to shop on Amazon instead.

The plant dad who was there was really informative. I came from Atlanta just to buy my first Leca beads and soil that wasn't miracle gro 🙄. I was finally able to repot some of my plants. The soil he recommended was an organic grade from Coast of Maine, made for organic plants. The soil smelt and felt so rich and nutritional. Highly encourage y'all to stop by. These are my some of my children repotted.

It took once and I pinky promise, I still go there now even though it's WAY out of the way for me 🌿🌿🌿🌿🌿 straight forward with decency I would call them!

Great place! The staff is very helpful and knowledgeable. He helped me get everything I needed and answered alot of questions I had. And he gave me free samples to try too. Then he carried everything to the car with me. This is my new go to store. Doesn't get any better.

These guys are very knowledgeable and very friendly! I asked the gentleman an exhaustive amount of questions and he knew (in great detail) every single answer. They actually seem to enjoy what they do for a living and it comes through in their customer service. The store is very organized and stocked with an abundance of quality products. I am new to this town and this is just the type of store I had hoped I would find! They assisted me in calculating exactly how much soil I would need and even discussed different options. In the end the associates guidance actually saved me money. They then neatly loaded up my car and thanked me for my business.It is rare these days to get such great service. The associates show a genuine concern which is very much appreciated on top of having outstanding prices. I appreciate what they bring to the community and will continue to do business with them in the future.Thank you,Joe

I have only dealt with Andy so far. He was friendly, very helpful, and had useful answers to my questions. It felt as if he had genuine interest in the products and they have a nice selection and are evidently willing to access others if the customer wants. Great experience :)

The product is excellent; no complaints there. The staff are very knowledgeable. I give this one star because the employee who was there appeared to want to take advantage of me. He charged me for an extra bag of soil conditioner, which I noticed before I got home and had to turn around and come back. I wanted to give him the benefit of the doubt though. Then when I came back the next day to get something else, he gave me a bag that had been previously opened with a little less in it and the words were faded on the bag. I didn’t notice til I got home because he loaded it in my car for me. He apparently wanted to get rid of old product. My husband saw it and was very ticked off because of what had happened the day before. We will no longer get our garden supplies there. We need to be able to trust them. Granted, this was probably not the owner, but he/she needs to know what’s going on while they’re gone.

This local shop always has what I need. I like making my own soil for houseplants and they have all the ingredients for it. I like browsing all the cool hydroponics stuff they have and there's always something interesting growing in the front window of the store. Best part is the friendly shop cattle dog.

We have been purchasing our Chicken Feed thru this store and every time, the person working inside is very helpful and cheerful. They are happy to answer any question about gardening or any of the products they sell. My only warning is to call them before going to buy feed - sometimes they run out and it takes a few days for them to restock. Their wonderful customer seevice is worth that minor inconvenience.

Everything is affordable and cheaper than other places such as Lowes and Home Depot. The service is absolutely amazing. Ask them anything about gardening and agriculture, and they'll thoroughly take time to answer your questions and concerns. This place is very underrated.

I have been buying off Josh and Andy for over two years now and I bring them all my business and send them all my business they are great and very knowledgeable they have the best selection and if they don’t have it they can get it there within a couple days they take more than enough time and helping you and showing you what’s the best for what you need at the best price I will never go nowhere else they have the best quality of organic liquid nutrients and powder granular nutrients within 50 miles !!!!LOTUS OPEN ONE UP IN GAFFNEY !!!! The staff at L.O.T.U.S. is phenomenal! After showing them pictures of flowers I was having trouble with the staff recommended the Spartan regimen of Oregon’s Only Nectar for the Gods product line. After following their instructions to flush the flowers’ pots with Herculean Harvest the Spartan regimen was utilized. Two weeks later the flowers I had considered mulching because they were so pitiful are now fat, juicy sticky, beautiful flowers!L.O.T.U.S rocks like sik!
