Dollar General in my opinion as a company is going downhill. Many atoms are not in stock on numerous occasions. They have the clerks working out in the store so there's nobody at the register and many times you have to wait quite a while for them to notice you up there. This is true of many of their stores that I have visited. Their hours are inconsistent. At many stores the stock is all blocking the aisles. Much improvement is needed.

Would give no stars. No name tag on cashier but she never smiles or speaks to u. I drive to Lancaster to get what I need because of her.

Manager and cashier did not have name tags on. I was not greeted or thanked in the store. My coupons did not apply through the app.The cashier over spoke me and was rude and the manager couldn't say anything. I was told I would have to bring all of my groceries back in because they would have to be rescanned to do a refund and then rescanned again to apply my coupons. I brought $64.84 back in and they did not rescan it and gave me the $5 back for my coupon. Wasted my time!

The people are usually nice, but the store is chaotic. Things are in the isles, making it very hard to get a buggy through, much less if another customer is trying to pass you on the same isle. Stuff is on shelves claiming to be clearance, that are actually full price. They all used to carry cute clothes, now they can only be found in certain ones.

This franchise is to hard to determine a best buy or "I'm a dumb shopper. There are many franchises like this to take advantage of theFood Stamp program in rural areas. Re: Great Falls SC, where the closest food store is another food stamp IGA and DOLLAR GENERAL STORE. This why these stores are located in these rural areas. They will say that they provide a need for these rural areas, which is true. Yet, they charge the tax payers because they charge 20 to 30 % more than a brand retailers store. Shame on DOLLAR GENERAL for being smart as a fox. You cash in on the welfare state.

When you need something fast, Wal-Mart will never do. 2 lines opened , with self-service :no, not for me !! Dollar General is where I go !!! Same price:: Better Stuff.

The manager at this Dollar General is a very rude unpleasant non sociable never smiling lady that I have ever came across. And it's a shame because seeing people like her also puts a damper on everybody else . SMH I KINDA FEEL SAD THAT SHE LIVES LIFE THAT MISERABLE....

This store is not very clean or very well stocked. It is difficult to navigate through the store easily because there is always stuff all over the aisles.
