I’ve been going to Kristi’s for almost ten years now and they are hands down the best place for grooming. My pups always look fantastic and they seem to really enjoy their time there. My one baby has epilepsy and the staff at Kristi’s has been WONDERFUL at helping ease the stress for him to avoid a seizure. I’ve tried other places in a pinch, but nothing compares to Kristi’s and I always return.

This is the only groomer that I am fully confident in taking care of my pups. I have a golden doodle and a cocker spaniel, and they have always been skiddish to be groomed. They run in the office like they WANT to be there. I have tried multiple other groomers- one that mistreated them, and a few others that I just didn’t feel cleaned them well. Thank you guys for being so loving and kind to my babies. It doesn’t go unnoticed💕

I brought my chihuahua/pug here for the first time today for several reasons. (1) I prefer supporting small businesses over large corporations, (2) I thought the process would be faster because I had to book more than a week out so (3) assumed she would have more direct, and therefore quicker attention. She is a highly anxious dog and is always convinced she’ll never see me again when I leave.When I dropped her off I was told I could pick her up in four hours (compared to Petco’s 2 hours), but thankfully she was done in three. She didn’t need a cut at all because she has short fur.The primary motivation for writing this review is I noticed when I got home that her nails were all cut extremely short and one of them was bleeding.Because the price was good and the attendant was nice I gave one star, but I definitely won’t be returning. ☹️

I am sooo upset with this place. We took our cat to get groomed (like we have once a year for years) and apparently they were too scared of him to get him out of the cage. He doesn't have front claws and they have done it numerous times in the past! My husband called at 2 to check in and they said he would be ready by 4 so at 3:45 we get a text saying he was ready, my husband gets there to get him and they say there is no charge because they couldn't get him out of the cage and instead of calling us sooner or telling my husband when he called at 2 they LET HIM SIT IN POOP FOR 3.5 HOURS!!!! So we bring him home and I feel soooo bad for him I'm crying as we wash him in the tub!! We will NEVER go back here.

This place is fantastic for our pups. Staff is always friendly, and they keep to schedule. I wouldn’t take our dogs to any other groomer!

Kristi's Fancy K-9's if you want your poodle mixed dog to look absolutely beautiful.This is the only place you should bring your dog to be groomed. I totally recommend Kristi's Fancy K_9 dog groomer The best in South Carolina.

I’ve taken my dog here atleast 5 times, and he is always acting scared to go in but I just figured he didn’t like getting his hair cut.. didn’t think much about it. Today when I go to pick up my dog there was a red haired women trimming his face and she was grabbing him very aggressively and pulling him down to get the angles she needed. I understand sometimes dogs don’t cooperate, but this was unacceptable and made me pretty upset. I was watching from outside as they said they would bring him to my car when they were done. I’m not sure if it’s just this one person that is like this with the dogs but I will not be back due to this issue. The owner Kristi is a nice women, I’ve spoke to her before when taking him in to get his nails trimmed; hopefully she can fix the issue.

I have a large hairy dog . They did a great job . I had him trimmed down for the summer. I gave a four star only because I will rate again later after he is fully hairy again. However after seeing several other large breed dogs with hair it looks very promising.

Wonderful, wonderful, wonderful experience! For several years I have been taking my mini-golden doodle to other groomers who have typically failed to listen to my instructions when I ask them not to shave her coat, or worse yet, have betrayed me for not brushing her everyday and keeping her completely free of mats.At Kristi’s though, I found nothing but super kind ladies who gave my babydog a perfect groom in a happy environment and left me with plenty of actually-practical tips and help for keeping her coat free of mats. She looked so wonderful when I picked her up, smelled great and clearly was treated very well.I would most definitely recommend Kristi’s to anyone in the Lexington/Columbia area!

We've been taking our Scottie here for the last 8 years. They do a wonderful job with the cuts and you get a better value than with others we've tried over the years. Kristi's business has really grown over the years and she has done a great job of keeping up. Paving the lot, adding more parking, and adding additional groomers.The are two little caveats, however. The first is it's cash or check only, so make sure to hit the ATM before picking up. The Second, due to the growth in her business, plan out as far as you can on appointments. The last few times it's been about 1 to 2 weeks to get in for an appointment, especially closer to holidays, so plan accordingly.Overall, she's the best we've ever used. We love the little touches like the scent of the shampoo and the little ascots (not sure what the actual name is but it looks a lot like an ascot) they put on them. Our little girl is always excited to go and shows a lot of love to the ladies working there.

We've been to a lot of groomers over the state and this is by far our favorite! Very pleasant and considerate employees that seem genuinely happy at work which makes big difference when dealing with them. We bring 3 dogs (2 small & 1 large) and they have always been able to take them without complaining or any snide comments. We get the pups back and they look, feel and smell fantastic and it lasts a long time too. Couldn't be happier with this place and would recommend them to anyone that cares for their pups!

We have been going to Kristi's for many years. Not only are they wonderful groomers, they also take good care of our dogs. Kristi always tries to accommodate our schedule. I love that fact that they are opened every other Saturday. We feel very blessed to have such amazing groomers!

Kristi's Fancy K-9's is the best groomer in South Carolina!!!! I really cannot express how comfortable I am taking my fur babies to Kristi's. I know my doggies are comfortable too, all I do is mention they are going there and they are ready to go. They walk right in. I know they are getting a spa doggie experience. My neighbor just came over and mentioned how cute they are when they come back for Kristi's

If you are interested in grooming this is a nice facility and it does a good job. If you are expecting customer service, I hope your experience will be better than mine.This facility seems to hardly ever replace my dogs collar after grooming her, and for whatever reason, won’t return my phone calls when I realize her collar is missing. That in itself wouldn’t be quite as infuriating if I didn’t offer to remove my dogs collar prior to dropping her off for her grooming.For a $47 haircut, it seems like this facility could return my dogs collar or at least return my phone calls. Alas, that hasn’t happened over at least two separate grooming experiences.Again, I offer no beef about the quality of this facility’s expertise - just its non-existent customer service. And, that’s just my experience - yours could be different.

I always take my mini schnauzer, Elsie, to Kristi's. They do an excellent job on her and the price is reasonable. Elsie looks fantastic every time. The staff calls me as soon as she is finished and ready to go home, therefore she does not have to stay in the kennel all day.Elise loves to ride in the car so the few extra miles to get there is not a problem.

This is our second time having our dog groomed at Kristi’s and it will most definitely be our LAST. I dropped our dog off at 10am and asked for a 2pm pick up. I called multiple times after 2pm checking on the status, as I had not received a call from them. They assured me it would “be just a little bit longer” every time I called. I had to rearrange my entire day, as I had planned to pick up our dog at 2pm. Not to mention I drove 30 minutes each way to come to Kristi’s. Fast forward to 8pm, and they finally finished grooming him. No apology. No update phone calls from them. Our dog spent 10 hours there, which is completely unacceptable! The staff is terribly rude and unfriendly. I heard from another friend to stay clear of this place, and now I can see why. We won’t be returning and definitely will tell others about our experience.

This is by far the best place for dog grooming. I have received so many compliments on my dog due to her wonderful hair cuts! She looks beautiful everytime I pick her up. I would definitely recommend them especially if you have a doodle of some sort.

used to take my dog here, after a few visits, she was impossible to drag out of the car, would cry and growl, hide in a corner, pee on the floor. the place we go now, she wags her tail and jumps up and down and is so excited to see the people working. completely different dog. makes me wonder what this place did to my dog.

Chance and I love Kristi's. He is a rescue and is scared of everything. They are very kind, patient, and loving to him and all the dogs I have seen in there. Our dogs have been groomed by Kristi for years and they always look fantastic! She and her staff do an especially great job in grooming older pets that need special attention. Our vet says that our Lhasa Apso is their best groomed client.

I can't review the quality of their work as I called twice and no one would answer the phone. To their credit someone did call me back but was unable to give me any information on their services. I don't have a Poodle I just needed my dog bathed and nails trimmed. I guess I will never know. I hate the big box grooming salon but that seems to be my only choice.
