EXTREMEMLY UNPLEASENT!!!1!1!1! Me and my mother went to grap some grocery for out ultra extremee pleasant yearly family feast, however we could NOT find the bread and the casheirs just told us instead of showing us like... how am i supposed to find bread on my own without help??? It this wasn't bad enough when wr did finally get yo a register they Said they were clossed... CLOSED??? Forturbaly #1 was open... unfornutanly the nightmare didn't end.... upon reaching the register my mother forgot her wallet in the car... THEN THEY CLOSED THE REGISTER WH8KE SHE GOT IT!!! seriously slowing down us who were trying to purchase out grocerys. Not only that, but they were out if propane... how am I supposed to have a fantastical barbsaq without propane the fact that they were out was appaukinf and to top it off the cahseri who was standing 2 millimeters away wouldn't even bag my grocherys this is unacceptable behavior and I wish it ended there but oh boy did it not. My ebt wild not work no matter now I tapped it upon realizing this the cahseir called the manager THE MANAGER!!! I can't believe this it made me feel like a child. On top of that the entire didn't even take off the metals pans for our fantastical barbq off. I can't believe that iga would hold back my food stamp benefits as a customer, this appalled my family so much that we almost had to leave the store. As a saving grace we tried to use a credit card... unfortuanly iga refused to take out money sprouting nonsense about some "insifficent" funds like idk whay that means but it sounds like you don't know how to treat a customer. We even tried to get cigarettes but they REFUSED TO SELL them to us... spouting some nonsense about idendification.. overall we left the store without spending dime, and the audacity of the manager with a smile on his face to announce "have a great day" on our way our... get guaranteed low prices?? What a sham can you belive they wanted 50 cents for a bag of chips.. A BAG OF CHIPSm would not recommend this store, cahsiers and managers were rude and nasty (and smelly) DO NOT GO HERE for your fantastical barbq, ONE STAR.. GRRR!!

A wierdo Cashier at this store asked to see my ID for non- achoholic beverage this morning. He just gave me a creepy vibe VERY "weird". I still have my receipt with his name on it. Don't try me!

I like the store and the people that were there are very nice and friendly but we had ordered a thanksgiving dinner from there and it didn't taste good as well as we were hoping cause for the first time I had never had to cook and I wished that I had done it myself very disappointed for the price of the meal nothing in the box wasn't anything named brand

Ran in to grab some things for my mom. You definitely pay for convenience because their prices are outrageous compared to other grocery stores. When I went to check out the chip on my mom’s debit card wouldn’t work. The cashier was quite rude about the issue & called a manager up. The manager wasn’t any nicer & told me that if the chip wouldn’t work then there wasn’t anymore they could do. Their machines don’t allow you the option to swipe your card or for the cashier to manually enter your number. So, needless to say I wasted 30+ minutes in the store just to walk out empty handed.

This store is always well-stocked, has a great meat selection, and I have never had to wait in line at a register. They always have multiple lines open. Perfect for a quick visit, or a full grocery shopping trip. Highly recommend Gilbert IGA!!

I shopped at iga last week. It's still a good place to go. The employees are friendly and helpful to everyone. I haven't been to Gilbert iga in over a year because I moved to Lexington... But it was to go back to do a little bit of shopping. And the prices are good too.

They were very conscientious when it comes to cleaning. They. regularly shut the cash register down in order to sanitize them. They asked for buggies to return so they could be sanitized as well. Their prices were very compatible to other grocery stores. I love the fact that they serve cooked food.

I was so amazed at the new varieties of cereal alone!!!! I had no idea. The service desk had no one at the ready behind it but after I made a lil noise to let them know I was there, the employee came and rang up my lottery ticket pretty quickly and efficiently, though, admittedly, not as friendly as every other person I encountered working there. Amicable enough not to aggravate me still.

My local food store. I know most of anything on shelf is expired. Throw it away and stock fresh stuff. Even the cookies are stale. Donuts stale. Come on make my experience better. I wont have to go to the farmers market next door. People are very friendly and i love the chats.

Prices are great. Very convenient. Staff is friendly. And they really sell great meats. Had a ribeye from there this past weekend. It was awesome and almost half the price of the other stores around.

Nice store, good prices, stocked well for everyday home cooking. I particularly like the IGA brand of bread. You will need to go to another store if your looking for specialty items. All the employees are helpful and friendly. The face lift to the parking lot is a plus.

Nice clean well stocked grocery store with friendly workers in Gilbert! They have very good fresh prodce and reasonable prices. I also like how they have extra items like plants & hanging baskets.

The deli manager was beyond rude, the store manager wouldn’t hold her accountable. I was given grief for asking for a manager then asked to leave once I got one to help me. The store has regressed greatly in the past year.

Convenient, Needed Western Union service, I said calling ahead to confirm before I drive there, was told yes they have WU service, but at arrival they said Not working OUT OF SERVICE! GRRR!Got some groceries, short on stock and sold out of various common items needed.

It's a bit out of my way but seems to be a nicer store.there was a good sale on meat.loaded up on some items.we probably stop once a month.its not overly crowded and checkout is reasonably quick and friendly.

This store is a good place to run to when I need something and don't want to go all the way to Batesburg or Lexington. Cashiers are always nice and friendly and all the employees are pleasant and helpful.

I liked it better when it had a small-town feel. There used to be a community bulletin board - gone. Used to be a bench to sit under the breezeway while waiting for someone - gone. Now the breezeway way is covered with merchandise and the store has less of a people priority and more about the $.
