The ice cream here is superb! Waffle cones are made fresh in the store and the ice cream is all homemade and definitely worth the trip. Prices are very good. There are also chocolate covered goodies that are also amazing. Owner is very nice and welcoming. We love forward to our next visit.

We have been here several times in the past and have never been disappointed. First of all Georgetown is a great place and Front Street is fun to walk around and get something to eat, maybe by a few items and have a drink. Sweeties is a great way to round out a day at the beach or an evening on Front Street. The ice cream is always fresh and the treats are some of the best in town. While in Historic Georgetown, SC, after lunch I dashed into Sweetie's Chocolate Shop. When I opened the door, the delightful aroma hit me square in the face. Oh I enjoyed that smellQuaint little shop on Main Street. I went in and purchased a few pieces of delicious Pecan Chocolate covered in caramel goodnessI loved every single bite of these ooey gooey goodness! I left wanting more and I highly recommend stopping when in the area.

Just visited this adorable homemade candy and ice cream shop! The quality of products was outstanding, and The owner was environmentally conscious, using only biodegradable and recycled materials for their packaging! We purchased pralines that were still warm and a number of chocolates as a gift, and we couldn’t be more pleased with the quality and taste! Definitely worth a visit and the owners were former heads of an animal sanctuary which made giving them business even more rewarding!

Everything about Sweeties (a family owned business) is a WONDERFUL experience! If you've never been, you NEED to! Just walking into their store is nostalgic! The wood and glass door with the tinkling bell. The hardwood floors. The brick walls. The old-timey cases. But, the BEST part is their homemade chocolates, pralines, specialties, and of course their homemade ice cream!! They make everything by hand and with meticulous care from handed down recipes. My mom and I have gone there for years! Each time we open the door and hear the tinkle of the bell the aroma of chocolate welcomes us. As a Realtor, I often treat my clients with a visit there. They immediately feel the same and enjoy the sweet treats! Even in the "off season", they offer seasonal chocolates, specialty candies, and even seasonal ice creams! Warm and friendly folks! When in Georgetown, this is a must-do stop!!

I was visiting from New Jersey and I asked my husband to drive 30 minutes to Sweeties. I had to try it out. I normally don't like white chocolate but, I had to try one out to see what it was like. It was absolutely delicious. I picked a few dark and milk, they were all delicious. Quality chocolate! Now I have to confess I work for a chocolate shop in NJ, no comparison. Sweeties is so much better. Loved it, already recommended Sweeties to friends here in South Carolina. Oh I forgot the aroma when you walk in, Mmmmmmmm.

Charming, beautiful Georgetown, S.C., is one of my favorite towns in the world. I get there as often as I can, especially for the annual plantation tour organized by members of the Prince George Winyah Episcopal Church. They do a phenomenal job every time. But now for Sweeties Sweets: I went in for my first time a couple of months ago thinking this would be your usual chain-type candy store. Wow, was I wrong! The chocolates are made in-house and are truly outstanding. They must use top-grade chocolate. I bought a big bag full and every, single piece was a delicious treasure. Giant peanut butter cups, brittle, pecan toffee, dark and milk chocolate with different kinds of nuts, something with caramel, more -- can't remember all of it as it quickly disappeared. We all still rave about it and I'm told by my family that I MUST order some by mail soon (when heat dissipates). I'm also a nut for homemade ice cream, so will have that the next time. The molded chocolates are unique -- I've never seen such adorable molds. Would be great gifts...also next time. I LOVE that Sweeties Sweets helps to support local animal rescue.

I love Sweeties. Homemade ice cream-may I suggest the butter pecan, or salted caramel? The pralines are something from heaven. I have enjoyed the food and the experience every single time I have gone, and I go a lot. It's not a one off. It is consistently wonderful.

I've tried several different types of candy here, from the chocolate covered peanuts to the delicious brittle, the ice cream to the toffee. Everything is absolutely delicious and decadent. They even have dog treats! I always stop in and buy my pups some good stuff when I pass through Georgetown. They absolutely LOVE them! The service here is well above par. One time when I got home with my purchase of praline pecans, I discovered that the nuts actually tasted quite stale. I reached out to the staff via facebook and they immediately gave me a store credit for my purchase and held it on file until the next time I could get there. I've never been disappointed with the products or the service at Sweetie's. It is a MUST-DO in Georgetown.

Their sweets were delicious!! We purchased a new confetti truffle and it was amazing! Such a cute little idea, with a fabulous taste. And the worker was so nice and polite. The experience was very pleasant :)

This is a unique place on the inlet of Georgetown, SC. It's a must stop if you're in the area. They have the best pralines and creative chocolate you could imagine. I can't say enough about how delicious their candy is. I haven't had anything like it. some of my favorites are the pralines, pecan toffee, turtles and ice cream. You really can't go wrong with any of it!

We are residents of Pawleys Island, SC. Our family recently vacationed in Hendersonville, NC and we stopped at Kilwins and a chocolate shop in Brevard while away. We are chocoholics! Today was my first day back home and I drove straight to Sweeties to get our favorite selection of chocolates. They truly are the best, far superior to the NC chocolates mentioned above! The cappuccino ice cream is exquisite as well.

Such an adorable little shop with wonderful homemade ice creams and the most amazing pralines and other handmade candies. The staff was welcoming and helpful and all tips go toward a pet rescue project. The pecan praline ice cream was sooo good!

Not sure if she was the owner or not but she was an older with long gray and she was very unfriendly, it seemed like she was mad when we walked in , maybe she wasn't in the mood to scoop ice cream. Next time I will go to a place were people are nice to paying customers.

Perfect place to stop for ice cream on a hot day! Danni was working and super helpful and friendly! The ice cream is out of this world good! The chocolates are must haves! You really need to stop here if you are in Georgetown!
