Piggly Wiggly has MOST of everything you’ll want. There’s a small fresh veggie section and a small bakery.It has plenty of local southern meats. You’ll find regional items like neck bones, pigs feet and pickled EVERYTHING.I was looking for fresh herbs and all of them were pretty wilted or gone off already.Was also looking for ricotta and there was nothing less than a 32 ounce tub. I live on a boat and didn’t need or have room for that quantity so didn’t purchase.The staff were very friendly. I came with a pull cart in case I had to walk back to my boat docked at the local marina. I asked and was able to leave it at the service counter while I shopped. They did their best to pack the groceries as I asked. Separating the cold items since I expected to walk 1.5 miles b in 80 degree temperatures.When the grocery bagger found out I was walking he offered to call a local cab for me. He successfully got me a ride! It’s hard to find transportation here in Georgetown. Ubers are scarce and there are only 2 cab companies.There’s a cold beer section. A large ethnic section with plenty of Mexican offerings. Sufficient meats and cheeses. There’s a “hot bar” with lunch and dinner offerings. We recommend this store.

Love some of the items here. Typically a really good deli, and the meat section here is one of the best around. However, the deli closes VERY early, and there is black mold in several spots in the ceiling.

They do have a great selection of meat with fantastic prices and perfect sizing options. The store itself is not quite as clean as it should be or needs to be, I definitely would not use the restroom there. I do recommend not going down the center aisles because the prices for those products are outrageous but like I said their meat prices are phenomenal. If you have a large family like I do this is the place to go for proteins.

Very good place to shop. The prices are low compared to other grocery chains. Not to mention the friendly people who are employed there. I have a soft Piggly wiggly in a long time I came here working at one of the local plants on the shutdown and as soon as I saw the Marquis Piggly wiggly wrote across the building I knew where I was going to do my shopping at the deli was good too

Deli employees got to do better. The girl waited on me first, then she went and waited on someone else. She didn’t even finish with my order, and allowed somebody else in front of me. Had my food waiting. Instead she could have handed me my order and then help the next customer. Very, very, very unprofessional. I contacted corporate about this. This is very inconsiderate and rude. I won’t be getting anything from their deli again.

Not very clean and, alot of they're food is outdated. Watch out if getting a checked cashed in office they carry fake money. This happened to a friend of mine. Being a big company they should know the difference between counterfeit money and real money.

I can't give 5 stars because I only looked at the syrups and spices. They didn't have sorghum syrup. However, they had yellow grits and a large selection of spices at good prices. Many of the Carolina Pigs have excellent fried chicken and breakfast at the deli, so somebody check this out and report back pronto!

This store has a great variety of itemsBut what I dislike is the UNPROFESSIONAL women in the deli. Every time I go there for breakfast they NEVER greet me and they will continue doing what they are doing and DON'T NEVER ACKNOWLEDGE the fact that I'm waiting to order food. This morning I waited and when I saw one of the ladies coughing I walked out.Y'ALL GOT TO DO BETTER IN THAT DELI‼

There's probably three people in this store that are friendly all of the ladies that work up front at the registers are just horrible they're rude they don't speak and they're usually eating or talking to someone else please get better helpThere's no supervision even the people that are over them in the evenings have no personality they're just terrible

The staff are vary nice people. You have good choices of meat and a good selections of other items. The store is dim, not as bright as some of the other stores. Could give you the impression that it's not as clean.

This is where we travel to get most of our meats because they are cheaper the store is quite old and doesn't look that great but what would you expect for a old store, it stays fairly clean and the employee's are so nice and even offer to help take out your groceries if you need the help..Piggy Wiggly Thanks for staying how I remember it as a child growing up shopping with my grandmother.

Deli had nice options. Easy pull in from Route 521. Check-out was long, because a woman was permitted to take two full carts through the express lane. We waited in line over 10 minutes to purchase 4 items. Many people in line were annoyed, and we were in danger of missing an important appointment.However, it was an adequate store. We won't ever again stop if we're in a hurry, but will stop if we're not.

I have always like the Piggly Wiggly. It is for sure a hometown grocery store. They have really good steaks. Some of their prices are a little expensive but if you ever want them to carry something in the store all you have to do is request it and they will make sure to stock it for you.

Piggly wiggly in Georgetown SC is the best. The meat is fresh, the store is nice neat and clean. Cashiers are very nice we were greeted at the door,and then get you out fast they keep the lines moving. I just love shopping at the Piggly wiggly store in Georgetown SC.

My first and last visit. The nasty smell was indescribable; every last head of the iceberg lettuce had rotting outer leaves; I observed mini croissants (defrosting, so obviously they had been frozen previously), with blue mold on them, and cinnamon buns (supposedly fresh) had an expiration date of today, and were all dried out. (I should have checked the date but every other grocery store you don't have to!) Oh, and the clerk couldn't take my PW card off my phone;not a problem anywhere else. This review applies only to this location. Other PW stores have been great.

This store needs a major upgrade!! Corporate should invest in this location as it has been around for years. I've lived in other areas where the Piggly Wiggly decor, uniforms, food selections, and etc mirror Publix. When you walk into this store, there's a terrible odor, the floor/walls look dirty, and there are always flies near the deli foods. The checkout area is cramped and the registers are outdated.Also, the deli workers are not friendly and the cashiers are always holding side conversations (very unprofessional). So, don't expect them to acknowledge you.The only good thing about Piggly Wiggly is the competitive meat prices. Otherwise, I would recommend shopping at Publix or Food Lion.
