The first problem that CVS has is the fact that their prices are astronomical. The next problem that CVS has is their hours. I don't have a normal standard 9 to 5 job, this is one of the reasons I've always used to CVS to fill my prescriptions but now that you're closing so early I will be moving all of my prescriptions to a different store.

100% the worst PHARMACY that you could try to do business with. The employees behind the pharmacy counter itself do not care about their customers needs. They can have a prescription that has been sent into them for days and it still not be filled. Then when you show up and it’s not filled, it’s like you’re inconveniencing them. This review is not based on a one time experience. This is a culmination of many times visiting this location. It would not bother me a bit if it was no longer operating in Georgetown. Save yourself the hassle and go to Walgreens. It’s sad for the other employees because I’ve always had good experiences with the employees that work the front counter and the sales floor.

Absolutely the worst pharmacy I've ever been to. They never answer their phone they're always understaffed the line is always slow and often when you get to the front you find your prescription is not absolutely the worst.

Waited 40 minutes to pick up husband's heart medicine only to be told... they don't have it. He dropped prescrip off the day before. This after watching the employee yawn openly, crack her knuckles and look at her phone while waiting on another customer. No effort was made in trying to find out WHERE our prescription went... done with this place. I've never seen a pharmacy so poorly run, whoever is in charge here (if anyone) needs to clean up this act and train people in proper customer service.

WORST….PHARMACY…EVER!! They do not answer the phones so your only choice is to drive there. I’ve been calling for 3 days to check on my family members prescription and no one picked up the phone. When we arrived, I sent my son in to pick up the meds. He was told it would be a 15-20 min wait. After that time had passed, he was told it would be an additional 30 min. So we decided to leave and pick up the next day. When I returned the next day, I was told the refill wasn’t in the system…what?!?! We were just told less than 24 hours earlier that it would have been ready in a matter of minutes!! How could it just not be there now?? Out of the 5 people who were in line, 3 of us were turned away for various reasons with only an I’m sorry. Another customer in front of me got a confirmation email that she could come in and be tested for COVID, and when she got to the help desk, she was turned away without any explanation as to why…she said she drove over an hour to get to the pharmacy…SHUT THIS PLACE DOWN!

I have been on a low dose pain management prescription of hydrocodone for extreme arthritis and Fibromyalgia. My meds were due to be picked up Feb 17th as my prescription was put in on Feb. 7th. I called my CVS and they said the orders were two weeks behind. Idon't want to go to the hospital for this pain. I'm at my wits end and to have to wait two weeks for my prescription after it has been in the store for two weeks already is beyond me. I need it to move without extreme pain. I hate being in bed all day. Please someone answer my call.

They could maybe hire some additional help up front. Ivy was up there by herself and did an amazing job but I'm sure she could use some help. She was so friendly and helpful from the moment I walked in and she greeted me with a smile to the time I checked out. She was also very helpful with my kids that LOVED her. They even talked about her on the ride home.

I am saddened by the poor management of this CVS pharmacy. I know the one in Andrews basically merged with Gtown. You have employees that are frustrated by the lack of care they need. Thus they dont treat the customer well or vice versa. Overall this is a terrible situation. We will be moving our scripts elsewhere and I am confident we arent the only ones. Help your employees so they can properly help the customers.

Worst pharmacy I have ever had to deal with I was waiting for almost an hour just to pick up a prescription. It’s a Medicine l need filled desperately and they supposedly transferred my medicine to another pharmacy and it’s still in their system I’ve been dealing with this since Monday. And they don’t answer the phones. horrible treatment especially with people who need they’re medication, PLEASE SHUT DOWN!!!!

This store has gone through several changes and the most recent is the worst one. We waited nearly 40 minutes for one person in the drive through window to negotiate with the CVS worker at the window. At least 4 cars behind us chose to leave rather than continue waiting!!!When we asked what the problem was...we got a whole bunch of nasty guff from the CVS clerk!!! And she refused to give us her name or employee number.And then, that CVS employee refused to wait on us!!!We had to wait for another employee to help us with the simple matter of picking up a prescription.We have been CVS customers fir over 30 years...but we ma decide to transfer our scripts to another pharmacy iver this!!

Appalling service. Take your prescription elsewhere, I called to speak to the pharmacist & was on hold for 25 minutes. Arrived at the store & was told they had just (while I was on hold) closed for lunch. I waited until 2pm to go back to the store & my prescription is still not ready. (Pharmacy didn’t re open until 2:10pm, because (the pharmacist said “we didn’t close until 1:40”.)

This place is horrible about answering the phone! I've been on hold for over 30 minutes and still no person has picked it up! I give 0 stars! They need some kind of supervision about phone calls. Sometimes you can't wait on the phone for an hour with no one ever picking up!!!! Ridiculous!

Used to be my primary pharmacy until one of the pharmacists thought she knew more than the prescribing physician and altered my medication. I go there only out of desperation now, and the place is unkempt and smells like sewage. I know the pharmacists are overworked, but there’s a level of ineptitude at work here as well. I drive 15 miles out of the way to get my meds now.

I would give 0 stars if I could the pharmacist Cheryl Lee is a horrible pharmacist. You couldn't ask for a more lazier person. CVS makes a lot of money each month on my prescriptions. I will be calling my doctor tomorrow and have them transfer all my prescriptions to Walgreens and I will never step back in a CVS ever again. I will also let everyone I know what a horrible pharmacy Georgetown CVS is.

This pharmacy is very unprofessional and provided very subpar services. They will tell you the medicine is ready and you get there and it isn't. I tried to get some clarity on what was going on with my father's medication and the pharmacist Eric was rude, very unprofessional and even hung up on me when i just wanted to figure out what was going on with my father's medicine, his response was, "what you want me to do about it". I will no longer have my father's prescriptions sent here.

I was in the store today and tried to make a purchase at the self check out and it would not take my coupon I pressed the button for help but no employee came I had to walk back to the pharmacy to page someone for help at the check out when the employee came she was extremely rude and unhelpful she was so dumb she couldn't figure out how to use my coupon I asked her to get the manager she said she was the manager and she was unable to help me!!! She told me I had to go back to the pharmacy to check out??? Isn't the pharmacy busy nobody was at the checkout in the front of the store?? Extremely lazy and rude manager they just lost a customer of 40 plus years !

If i could rate the pharmacy department a zero, especially crazy blond hair impatient guy working in pharmacy.Even after i explained what i needed, i still ended up with the wrong stuff, Rude, impatient, this pharmacy been screwing up my prescription for years. Guess its time to switch pharmacies.

The worst doesn't even describe the customer service. I've called the pharmacy for 4 days in a row. No answer. Very unprofessional. Rude. Mean. Unpleasant. Meds always om hold. Been told numerous times we are behind can't get to it yoday.

I put a Perscription 3pm in for pain they told me to come back 7pm I didn’t have a ride back I came the next day they did not have my Perscription ready no date a day and a half they could have call the Dr. or me no excuse poor service and the manager have a attitude

I mean the other reviews seem to agree...this is the worst CVS I have ever been to.The male pharmacist is extremely rude and needs to learn how to treat people with respect.Try a different pharmacy...

Drive Thru is usually closed. Waited 30 + min each call of a dozen to have no one answer. Driving there is the only option and usually they are closed for dayServices are hit/miss at this pharmacy.

I stayed on the phone from 6:51 till past 8 on hold with CVS Pharmacy 8:07 they pick the phone up and hung it up in my face thank you very much no thank you CVS in Georgetown is usually better than this

I waited 40 minutes to pick up one prescription. Come to find out, they had to order the prescription so I waited 40 min for nothing. When I asked if they had the medicine in stock they told me yes. But when it was time that's when they told me they had to order it... SO AGGRAVATING!!!

This is the worst pharmacy all the do is complain about being short staffed I bin waiting for prescription 4 over a month evertime I call they say it will be filled today never does I try to call I'm on hold for a hour or more all i get is someone picking up the ever couple of minutes saying please hold and when some answer she said I can't hear you and hung up as I was leaving without my refill the pharmacist was telling a gentleman that she promised his prescription to another person and it's going to be backorder he was waiting since July her reason that he wasn't getting prescription was the person was starting school I didn't no cvs works on promise prescription this place is a joke back to Walmart were it gets done and the work by the rules

Rude employees. The pharmacist acts like you’re an inconvenience to him. There was no sales associate on the sales floor.
