Locklairs is a wonderful place. They treat everyone who walks through their doors like family. They are extremely helpful& eager to educate others (especially if you ask). It appears you can purchase most things for animals.it was very well stocked, it also served as a pickup for Amazon...however they had a big scary loose pit bull dog that came up to me barking menenceingly...I was scared to move..several store personnel were around but not doing anything bout the dog...after what seemed an eternity I slowly inched up to the counter to get my Amazon package then someone began calling on the dog telling it to hush...there were a couple of cats roaming freely as well...but that dog continued barking at customs...finally the lady who was retrieving my package angrily told someone to get the dog...I didn't like that barking dog...I felt ok upon leaving and will return because I like the store...the dog ...well I don't believe they store employees wouldn't have allowed it to bite me...but do go there to find things for your animals..

I can always call them and ask questions. Staff is super friendly and always willing to help. They also offer help in carrying heavier items. Great customer service that goes above and beyond what you would get at the big box stores.

I have been using Locklair's for years. Love the family-friendly atmosphere. The staff is always helpful. The store has a variety of items from horse, sheep and goat, cow, pig, and poultry. Cats and dogs, rabbits, guinea pig, hamster, even reptiles and aquatic. Then you go outside for all kinds of garden plant life of fruit, vegetables, herbs and flowers. Oh ,you can't forget to take a tour of the permaculture garden. Recently, the store added new refrigerators to hold local pork and products as well as milk! They have the best honey! There is always something going on for different holidays. There are even animal swaps and homemade craft events.

I love our local little farm supply store. They always have what I want and their prices are wonderful. Yesterday I went in for some corn seeds and some flowers. I'll be back often this summer and fall even as I'm growing my garden :-)

Always a great place lace to go. Everyone is supper helpful. Prices are good. There always seems to be something going on. Whether it's a photographer for animal pics, a vet for check ups, Easter and mother's day events. I bring my son with me every time I go. He always likes to see the baby chicks when they are in stock. I truly enjoy going here even if I don't get anything it's nice just to chat with everyone and enjoy the family friendly atmosphere.

They had a large assortment of Dog and Cat medicine, which was exactly what I was in need of. You can find most things for your average pets here. I don't know about exotic animals because I didn't look. Didn't see fish food.
