Not everyone on their first nighttime hog hunting gets to see an animal this size. This was my experience and Jeff walked me through every step of the way. Amy furnished us with fabulous meals. It was a great time and I strongly encourage you to consider this as your primary hunting adventure.

Went hunting with Low Country Hunting Lodge. What a hunt, seen deer at every sit and got an awesome 8 point on a windy drizzly morning and could not be happier. Jeff and his boys did a great job guiding and quartering our deer and Amy was an awesome cook. If you don’t go for any other reason, the food and hospitality of this family are out of this world. My brother and I thank them for an awesome weekend. We will definitely book for next year.

The only reason I'm giving LCHL a five-star rating is because I can't give them a higher one, Jeff and Mike run a first-class hunting lodge and along with Amy providing great meals and desserts you couldn't ask for anything more.Jeff put us on Hogs every night a provided us with the knowledge to be successful.I wouldn't want to forget Jeff and Amy's boy's (Bo and Will). They did a great job getting us to and from our stands, helping Jeff load up the Hogs and them helping skin and quarter them.We are already taking about and will be booking another trip for next year.Thanks for all your hard work and making our stay a memorable one!

My sons and I have hunted with Jeff at the Low Country Hunting Lodge four times. Each hunt was extremely well executed because Jeff works very hard to ensure each hunter sees multiple animals and is setup for success. Jeff understands deer and hog hunting in the low country as well or better than any other guide I have encountered and shares his knowledge with his hunters. The lodge is extremely comfortable and the food is outstanding.

Low Country Hunting Lodge offers a great experience for people who love to hunt and have appreciation for wild life. Jeff gave us a great background on everything to expect for our wild boar hunt; walking us through both likely scenarios and unlikely ones. With a sound understanding and confidence we confirmed the sighting on the guns and were ready for the hunt. The first day/evening we were out we were unable to take any shots, we did see hogs but we were unable to get a clear broadside shot. The second day we saw hogs again and got a clean line, and were able to get a boar, as was the other party hunting. The lodge was great, the cooking incredible and Jeff and the team made the entire trip memorable from beginning to end. We’re coming back.

If you are looking to go hunting, fair chase, and not just shoot a fenced in pig, this is the place for you. I wasn't able to get a hog myself, but some of the other guys got some beautiful hogs. Remember, this is hunting. Not just killing. The lodge is clean, and comfortable. The meals...Amy can cook! Jeff is a wealth of knowledge about hunting, and many other things. They try to make your trip as comfortable and easy as possible. Already planning a return trip. I want one of those hogs!

I have been hog hunting in South Carolina with many different outfitters over the past 15 years and I have to say Jeff and Mike are at the top of the list. They do not overhunt their properties so your chance of success is very good. The night hunting equipment that they provide allows you to stay out when the boars are most active. The lodge is clean and comfortable, the food that Amy prepares is outstanding and the hunting is great, you could not ask for anything more. Do not hesitate to book your hunt with them! My wife and I were just there a week ago and we took 3 hogs between us and had many more opportunities.

Jeff, Bo, and Will were awesome guides and even though we didn't see any hogs this time I'm sure we were put in the best possible situation to get one. This time the weather didn't cooperate looking forward to next year. Must give props to Amy for some of the best food I've ever tasted.

A friend and I just got back last night from a weekend hunt at Low Country Hunting Lodge. We had a great time, and even though we did not get anything on this trip because of the severe drought, we are already planning our trip for next year. I have hunted at several lodges, and I by far enjoyed my experience at LCHL much more than at any of the others. I am going to list the differences.1. Jeff who is one of the owners, and the guide, REALLY knows what he is doing. In fact, he grew up down the street, and hunted the same areas that he now takes his clients to. He know the hunting areas like the back of his hand, and knows where and when to take people to a certain stand. Weather, and wind patterns play a part in this, and from his experience, he puts his clients where they will have the best chance of getting a shot.2. Amy, who is Jeff's wife is an AWESOME cook!!! The food I had at LCHL is MUCH better than at any of the other lodges I have tried. The first night we had prime rib. Amy cut the slices at least 2 inches thick. Be prepared to be wowed by the food!!!If you are looking for the real hunting experience, and a comfortable lodge with a friendly, knowledgeable guild, then you should try Low Country Hunting Lodge.

Went out for the day/night hog hunt with my father. Had a better hunt than I could have ever imagined. Jeff took care to see that my dad was able to hunt in the same stand as me. We saw hogs and got three! The food was great, the lodgings were great, the service, care and communication were great. It was easy to see that a lot of preparation went into their hunts. A guided hunt is a stretch for me but this was money well spent. I will definitely go again and you should too!

Just returned from a hog hunt at LCHL. Jeff is an awesome guy and a great guide. He’s tuned into his sets, and hunts them accordingly. The food was delicious and you will NOT go hungry. I shot a 250lb hog and my friend who was on the trip also bagged one. We will definitely be headed back down next winter for another hunt. Thank you Jeff!!.

We did the two day hog hunt. I am torn saying good things about this place. I want to keep this place a secret, but these people deserve the praise. It is fair chase, but they work hard keeping the hogs in the area. It felt like going along with a friend to stay and hunt his uncle's place. We felt welcomed and enjoyed swapping stories. There were 4 hunters that went out 2 nights each. Finished with a 2 good hogs in coolers.

LCHL is a outstanding operation, best bang for the buck (hog) hunting trip a hunters money can buy. Mike and Jeff know their game and Amy cooks to satisfy any hunters taste buds. Overall it was just a great trip , our guy's put hogs on the ground and you can't ask for more than that from wild game. We will return!

A great place for hunting hogs (and deer if you choose)! I've been there 5 times now and nothing but a great time, food, and hunting every time! Jeff & Mike know how to setup the properties and give you the best opportunity to be successful! Even with this being Fair Game (which I prefer and adds to experience - no high fence) I have been successful every trip and doubled up most!

Hogs and deer aplenty. Mike and Jeff run a top notch hunt. If you’re a real hunter, you will immediately be able to tell that Jeff knows his stuff. Jeff grew up there so he has intimate knowledge of the land and animals. Amy’s food is sure to satisfy any appetite!

Amazing time at LCHL over the long weekend. Had the opportunity to go hog hunting with my brother and left with 5 over the two day hunt between the both of us. Jeff educated us on everything and put us in the best position to be successful. Hands down Jeff is the best. Great lodge and accommodations and I'd highly recommend LCHL whether this is your first hunt or you are an experienced hunter.

Just finished a 3 night hog hunt with Jeff and Mike at LCHL. What a class act! They spend the time to review their trial cams for activity and winds for that night to put you in the best place for game. Can't forget Amy's cooking either, fine quality dining, ribs, prime rib, venison meatloaf all amazing. Thanks everyone and can't wait to book again.

This was our second trip to LCHL and there will be more! Trust Jeff to read the wind and the animal movement and you will be on Hogs! My friend and I both scored twice on this hunt, 2 of them were over 200 lbs!Show up hungry, the food is excellent and plentiful!!

If your hankrin for great hunting and good home cooked meal, well look at low Country Hunting. 2 days and 2 deer, 1st was a 10 point. Can't guarantee the deer or pigs if you want but I haven't had a bad meal yet. Great lodge and people

Clean, comfortable, well managed. A family run operation. A reasonably priced deer and hog hunting experience. This is fair chase, nonfenced hunting so it is not a guaranteed hunt. The area has a good deer and hog population.
