A great sale was going on, which I adore. I had over $100 worth of merchandise and groceries, but when I went to check out the computer froze. This is actually about the 5th time this has happened to me at this exact register, which is often the only one open. The poor girl reset it no less than 9 times. I stood there for nearly an hour while she and the manager on duty sought to fix it. My son's ice cream sandwich melted. It never came back. I was flustered and decided to leave after they decided to call someone about it. I even put everything in my buggy back where it belonged instead of leaving it for the employees. I was very, very upset at this due to the satisfaction I had felt at the quality and quantity of the sale items I had intended to purchase. Then I discovered that my card had been charged even tho the transaction never went through and was supposedly canceled. Phone call to the store informed me that this was an issue I'd have to take up with a district manager since they were showing the transaction as canceled. Won't be back at the market anytime soon. Dol Gen is shameful these days in their products, prices, and the way employees are treated.

It was nice. I had never been to a dollar general that was also a grocery store. They had a good variety of different types of things. I will definitely be back. And I would recommend this place. I bought my wife a coconut cream cake from there on her birthday, Lisa loved it, and so did I. It was one of the best we have ever had. And I was also able to pick her up a birthday card and candles to put on her 🎂 all at the same place. It was perfect.

The staff has always been very friendly and knowledgeable when I've needed help. The work space at the register is small, but the employees do a pretty impressive job for all the more room they have to scan/bag/stage the groceries. KEEP AN EYE OUT FOR THE 50% OFF STICKERS FOR STUFF CLOSE TO EXPIRING!!

The market offers a ton of products, much more than a regular Dollar General, including produce and more groceries and consumer products. But the prices on many items aren’t that great.

I always love going to the dollar general market!!!! They have everything labeled so u know exactly where you will find this or that without looking all of the store or asking an employee which if u have anxiety like me and u know it's just gonna end up being right in front of you really helps lol!!!!! Not to mention they have just about everything!!!!!

WOW, this store has a bit of everything, it's amazing. The prices on some things are low and about normal on others but the store was very well kept, clean and neat...no boxes or anything stacked up or sitting around. The girl at the cash register was very cheerful and nice. I will be going back to this store often.

This is great place to get birthday/holiday balloons, cards, decorations, and stuff. Its nice when you can find stuff for a $1. But remember, some stuff is cheap because "you get what you pay for" for example, batteries. Do not buy batteries there because they will not last but a few minutes literally.

Takes forever at checkout, I avoid the 50% off deals here cause always have to wait on a manager to come turn key. Great milk and eggs prices. About the only reason I go there from time to time.

Clean and friendly. Clerks were very nice and courteous. Checkout didn't take long. They did what was expected of them. Good place to get groceries. Will go again.

I had a confusing and aggravating situation with my purchase and my receipt. The manager, Patricia, handled the problem very professionally. She explained in detail, my receipt and the solution of the problem, until I understood. She was very helpful and respectful and made sure I was taken care of. I was very aggravated, but before I walked out the door she made sure I was still a happy customer. Thank you Patricia!

Has some great prices, clean, aisles aren't too small. Grocery section is amazing. We got their broccoli and cauliflower which was fresh and tasted great! Very clean store and bathrooms.

This is the best Dollar General in the Gaffney/Spartanburg area. Most of the Dollar General stores near where I live (Spartanburg County) are understaffed and have messy, half empty shelves, and carts and boxes crowding the aisles so you can't walk down them. There aren't enough employees to check people out and stock merchandise. The Gaffney DG Market is a great store. Always clean and neat, shelves full of products, aisles clean and the staff are friendly. It is a joy to shop there and I wish we had one in Spartanburg! They need to send this store's manager to the Spartanburg County stores to get them straightened out!

Was fast and friendly. Unlike most Dollar General this 1 was clean and organized. Tbe isles were weWide enough for 2 buggies to shop at the same time

What can you say, it's Dollar General. Always one close by, decent prices. Don't sit on the toilet and remember, no matter what it is, if you find it on the floor, it's only $1This is to make their employees always clean up.

employees at the stores really nice they don't hate their job luck some of the Dollar General has a particular lady there that's in management she's actually a pleasure to deal with unlike the Blacksburg SC store.

The people working here in the evening are so rude .If you ask where something is they will NOT tell you and act like you are just a nuisance . I will never step foot back in this dirty rude DG ever. If I could give them no stars I would have .

No friendly staff, lines to long , only one register open, and it's not a quick place to get in and out, I only go there cause I have to not because I want to.. any place you go is better than dollar general market.

It's a great place to shop. They have multiple registers and not afraid to open them, unlike some other "super centers".
