I've been to several vets around town, felt I was not dealing with true animal lovers anywhere. Then I found Dr Borkosky at Fountain Inn Animal Clinic. I pass at least 3 other vets on the way, but it's worth the drive for the absolutely best care for our "Pack"! Our first visit there was for Bohdi, a severe neglected and malnourished dobermam shepherd we had just rescued. He was very leery of strangers and didn't like to be touched. Dr B came in the room and sat on the floor talking to us while rolling treats to Bohdi, inching closer every few minutes until he could actually pet him. Wish more vets would take that kind of time! Dr B is just one of a kind, great staff, always very helpful. Really...it's a no-brainer people!

Excellent care for your pets. Customer service oriented front office employees, as well as vet technicians. I met with Dr. Borkosky during my initial visit with Bella...and she was in rare form, nervous during her visit and not on her best behavior. Dr. Borkosky was very kind and reassuring to Bella, as he sat in the floor and examined her and talked to her to calm her down. In the end, he won her over and she eventually calmed down. Bella gives you two paws up!

I really like Dr. Ashley Heslop. She has such a kind heart for both her animal patients and their human owners. I don't ever feel that she is rushing through an appointment. She went above and beyond to communicate with me via email about my pet's condition. Very thorough, very caring, very personable! The office staff is compassionate and animal oriented. Such a great group of people doing their best to care for pets and the people who love them.

They fully listen to any concern and also take time to research other options. I have used many vets in the area and none are like FIAC. We are so lucky to have them in our area.

Expensive and did tests without asking me. Then when we stopped going they erased all our animals medical history and told other vets they had never heard of us.For owners responseNo I am speaking of that visit, I am very happy with our current vet. Interesting that you can find those records, when we went to a new vet you couldn't find our records. I'm speaking our your own prices back when the Roberts owned it.

Fountain Inn Animal Hospital is by far the best place to bring your furry family member. Everyone and I mean EVERYONE there is so nice, loving to my dog Troy. The talked me through the decision I needed to make, what was best for Troy. They are so professional but also make me feel like family. Dr. Heslop was an amazing vet, and even a better person. Very reasonably priced veterinarian.

I have seen Dr. B with my parents’ dog and see Dr. Heslop regularly with my own dog, Cosmo. Both are incredible vets who are compassionate, friendly, and extremely knowledgeable. Dr. Heslop has done an excellent job of thoroughly explaining everything to us and even showing us exactly what she is seeing on our dog’s x-ray images. The technicians and front desk staff have also been nothing but kind and helpful. Pricing is affordable and reasonable, especially compared to other vet clinics in the area. Cosmo loves FIAC (well, mainly because the nice people give him lots of treats 😉) and so do his humans!

Dr. Heslop is wonderful! We took two of our senior cats with two different ailments to her, and her prescribed treatment worked very well. I like that she tries conservative treatments first, and that she explains everything so clearly. Like her sense of humor too.

Initially we loved this place after switching to the practice in November 2022. Dr. Heslop was always kind and compassionate to our pups. She helped us get through a very painful goodbye with one of our dogs this summer, and we truly trusted her with all of our 3 senior dogs’ care. The front staff was ok, usually moody and seemed stressed, but I guess that’s what happens when you are a small clinic that is stretched beyond your available resources. Their prices were always very reasonable, but now I’m realizing that you really get what you pay for. My opinion of the practice completely changed when I had my first interactions with Dr. Borkosky 3 weeks ago. My dog was in the ER and I was simply wanting a call back from the vet to help us with a difficult decision, one that I felt more comfortable making having the input from our established vet who my chronically-ill senior dog had been seeing for almost a year. Apparently my desire to speak to our vet in this situation became what was misunderstood as my expectation to have our vet at “my beck and call.” This grave misunderstanding turned into a very ugly email war, where Dr. Borkosky showed his true colors, kicking us out of the practice (might I also add we had lost not just 1, but our 2 other senior dogs in July) and refusing to have an adult, in-person conversation. He refused to try to understand where we were coming from, had absolutely no compassion considering the losses we had just experienced, and basically shut us out. Ultimately, I am glad that we were forced to find a new vet, because this led to us finding one that would hear us out and provide an alternate plan to start with before we spent $5,000 on diagnostics. And turns out that the new vet was able to find something that no other vet previously treating our dog had thought to look for before, and we are already going down a new course of treatment. I know my experience is just one of many, but I’ve never been treated so horribly by a professional in my entire life. I’ve sat on this interaction for 3 weeks now, waiting for my anger to subside so that I could reflect on the words that were exchanged. I know that I lost my cool as well, but it doesn’t excuse the “brush-off” we received. The worst part is the amount of time I can only imagine Dr. Borkosky spent composing his emails and defending his reasons for not being able to gives us a call back, far exceeded the 5-10 minute conversation I was hoping to have about my dog.

The staff and the veterinarians are incredibly compassionate and well-equipped. Dr. Heslop has seen my 2 dogs and is very thorough in her exams and detailed in her evidence-based recommendations. The clinic is laid out intuitively with lots of bench space in the waiting area for owners to spread out and a separate door for entry and exit to reduce collisions and reactivity. I hate moving and having to change vets, but I'm very thankful this clinic is here in Fountain Inn!

I had 4 abandoned baby kittens and they were helpful in getting them examined. They did the deworming and gave them antibiotic injections for their eyes. The prices were reasonable and the staff was friendly and professional.

Dr B is hands down my life saver.He answers questions thoroughly, gives enough information to feel confident, my dog with high anxiety who barks at EVERYONE doesn’t bark at him and kisses him all over. He’s patient, kind, understanding. He CARES, which is most important. & all of my small panics about truly small things that don’t matter, always matter to him. He is the best of the best. So much love and care is given to the pets and their owners. I take my Golden Doodle in every 5 weeks for a shot to keep his Addison's Disease balanced, and they have patiently worked really hard at learning him and his behavior, to calm his anxiety when giving him his shots. He used to buck like a bronco, but he has significantly calmed down. I was blown away by the amount of love and compassion I experienced when I had to say goodbye to my almost 14 yr old Cocker Spaniel. He was handled with such a high level of care, as if he was their own. Fountain Inn Animal Clinic has won my heart and business! 🐾💗🐾

I was very impressed with Dr Haas. Gracie did not even know she got a shot. I use to go here years ago when previous owners were there but had problems and went somewhere else. I loved my visit here with Dr Haas , I felt our visit was laid back, not rushed, very professional, animals well taken care of and the staff was great!

The Dr's and staff really care about your animals!! No one thinks about pet insurance, as they are your pets, and here, they're rates and help, you don't feel like you have to get a 2nd mortgage on your home...lm thankful for Fountain Inn animal clinic...that l drive from Landrum, SC to their location no matter the time or cost.

EDIT: We just started at Fountain Inn Animal Clinic with Mojo. I called the office because Mojo was having itchy painful ears. They got me in within an hour! Mojo had a great time and the staff was just wonderful!Best vet you're ever going to find! He cares for his customers and their pets like family.

On March 12, 2020, I had to make the decision all animal lovers and pet owners alike eventually have make. Our beloved almost 15 year old golden-chow mix Mimi, needed to be put down. A day I had been dreading for a while.Dr. Dustin Borkosky was amazing. I felt as though I had known him 20 years as he sat on the floor next to Mimi and I. We spoke a while he explained calmly the process and I left with peace in my heart and mind.This is not my normal veterinarian office. I wanted to do at-home euthanasia however due to financial circumstances we could not do that. So I wanted to put her at rest in a peacefull setting. A animal clinic without tons of barking and chaos where she would be scared. And that is where this incredible veterinarian and his staff do their magic.5 days later Mimis ashes were returned to me followed by a card a week later from the staff and doctors. Highly recommended.
