I'm very disappointed in the Store management in how they treat employees. There's an employee there that also works at another job and took Dollar General. As a second job. They were told that dg would work with their schedule and then doesn't even attempt to work with the schedule and fire the person today because they told them they couldn't come in at a certain time because they had their first job, they had to work. They have been told repeatedly. What days he has off in order to work there unless they wanted Them to come in closer to closing. And we all know y all don't want them working past closing. And every time I do go in there, they're very sadly stocked And that tells me that they don't have enough people witchen. Returned also tells me there's A. Reason they don't keep people. And it might be your management, if you can't work with people when they already have one job and come to you for a second job? How did you even make it into management?It's not hard to schedule someone for morning shift if they have to be at work for night shift.Very disappointed in this.Will be reaching out for further assistance

They should just close this Dollar general down… they make their own hours and close and open when they feel like it. I’m outside now and it says they’re open til 11 but the doors are locked. This has become the norm and I’m done giving them my business until they can prove they are one

This Dollar General is very disorganized and trashy. On the back row they have multiple holes where concrete is missing. This is a hazard! How they are open is beyond me.

This store needs a major upgrade/ facelift or possibly just new management. Roof is leaking, both registers have been down for at least a week only excepting cash, (only can use self check out), Most of the shelves have nothing on it, in general just needs to be cleaned VERY well.

This place has really gone down. Closed at 7 today even though the web site says not until 11. They just make up what ever time they want. Most days the self service is the only thing open or working. I never going back unless there are major changes to the store.

Just checked out on 8/29 at 10 PM, cashier named James was super cool, helpful, and friendly. I was having a rough day and he made me laugh. Helped me and my friend Dean get a cool speaker, 10/10 experience. 🎶☺️

What happened to this location? You can't get cash back on certain days. The store is almost never stocked with some shelves having been bare for weeks now. The younger cashiers are rude and not concerned with helping. One cashier just let another employee skip to the front of the line right in front of me after I'd been waiting for over ten minutes. And now the store is closed and doesn't open till 3 today. When I asked the guy out front turning everyone away he said "We just are. ".

Staff is friendly and they have nice things at this location... however they had all their boxes of stock in the two main aisles and it blocked both aisles completely. I needed an item there, but could not get to it. One lady tried to pass through that. It’s dangerous if those boxes were to fall on someone.

WHAT has happened to this store?! It's filthy and cluttered and half empty. I notice the manager has been missing for some time. The cleanliness and service just keeps going downhill. This is my review from two years ago where I gave it five stars:This store next to highway 418 on main Street in Fountain Inn is a world apart from the other Dollar General next to BiLo. It's organized and clean, and the associates move you through checkout and are friendly. Great prices on many products. Can't beat prices on paper goods, cleaning products, toiletries and lots of other things.

Cashier was standing there when there were 4 people to pay for there items. She could have opened up the register and check out the frustrated people in line other than letting them walk out.

Upon coming in yesterday like I do every time I come in there the “manager” or “key holder” running the register until they guy came back she didn’t say anything no hey how are you NOTHING instead she was talking on her AirPods then I had to wait for her to get done texting, didnt give me my total verbally nor did she say have a good day. Horrible customer service to be higher up, as shes getting on to the guy when he comes back that he has to much money in the Drawer and how he cannot do that instead of waiting until there was no customers to tell him she told him in front of all the customers.

I went to this Dollar General and bought 4 packs of beef jerky, they were incredible. Tender but not chewy, great flavor. Also, every single one of the employees here are unique and they genuinely connect with customers. I've had more than a few laughs with the employees here, and I have never had a bad experience. Except for when they didn't have the kidney beans I wanted, but that's negligible.

I would usually give this particular DG 4 to 5 stars. This review is from my visit tonight. I arrived at the store 10 minutes before closing time to get some urgent items of private nature for my daughter. The store had the doors locked already and the 3 employees standing inside(one I know to be a manager) just ignored me after they initially seen me walk up to the door. I understand being tired and wanting to go home, but at least stay open until it's time for your store to close. I would have been in and out in 2 minutes without any inconvenience to them.

Been working in Fountain Inn for a few days now. I have gone in this store every day I've been down here and sometimes more than once. It has always been a pleasant experience until today. I have been trying to call this store for over 30 mins to talk to a manager and the phone is constantly busy. Most of the cashiers are very friendly, but the one I had today just changed everything for me. I will not be spending another penny in here after the experience with this 1 cashier and after not being able to get through on the phone.

I waited while two associates carried on a conversation in the hair care aisle . The young lady with the cool short haircut is usually very helpful. The guy not so much. Every time I've worked with him it seems like it is an effort for him to assist me.

This is my go to Dollar General. I've seen Dollar General's numerous times before that were very cluttered with stocking carts everywhere in the way. But never has that been the case there. Shelves are always stocked and staff is always friendly. I would definitely recommend this Dollar General to anyone.

Always nice staff, and Dan does an excellent job as store manager. I like the new reset and new home items they are bringing in. Need bigger, thicker advance color books for $3.00, and gel pens (just a thought)

I The store manager Dan was so rude and wanted to argue today and so unprofessional I wouldn't advise anyone to go in this store. I asked about digital coupons it seems he need a little training on he said I couldn't use but worked fine at gray court dollar general and he blew off smart comments and I told him to have a blessed day the he said I couldn't talk about his God.. This man needs praying for my elderly aunt said herself that we was staring at the devil he was The rudest I ever met. So I will never ever go in this store again

What a great place to shop! There's so much to chose from -- cereal, toys, home furnishings, clothing, potting soil -- all at affordable prices. The cashier, Felicia, is a dear. And, of course, Dollar General is so closeby. I truly love my Dollar General!

Dollar general is amazing the workers are amazing my favorite worker isLouise Leopard she will go out of her way to help you that's how worker is supposed to be I visit that store at least three times a week. They also have great classes on items great deals pretty cheap

The staff there is amazing very friendly the only problem that I have is one Saturday morning when I went in to buy something the actual female manager there did not give me my receipt when I went back in the store to get the receipt she said she had tore it in half and put it in the trash can I believe I was overcharged that day maybe not on purpose I'm not sure she said it was company policy them for them to tear up the receipts I'm not sure can someone from company contact me and tell me if this is true but besides A well-stocked and the general staff are really friendly and helpful management could be better

12/29/2021 at 12:15 pm, two employees standing at the front door smoking, tell me that I can't park at the door because its a loading zone. It was raining and there were maybe 5 cars in the parking lot. There are too many choices to deal with BS like that.

I drive a few miles further out to shop avoiding this store. Store is maintained well for a Small Box... but it is a high volume store that caters to the "lowest end of the socio-economic spectrum... even in its market".I find it very unpleasant to shop there with the associated long waits to checkout from "slow transactions from uneducated customers".It's closest to my home.... but... the experience is usually saddening, even maddening.I go to other Dollar Generals further out. Never have any sale item available. Always we will have some tomorrow. That is why there are sales for people to be able to afford things without breaking the bank. Stores should always have the sale items daily

This dollar general is seriously understaffed and chaotic. Some days they close early some times they open late the manager and employee were to busy hanging out with their shirtless guy friend one day while I was standing at the cash register wait to check out it's a embarrassment to all the dollar general stores
