They do a good job. My dog is a rescue and is usually skittish, plus he has acute arthritis in his left hind leg. Even better they’re local to me and availability within reason are all bonus points in my opinion.

Switching from Petsmart to Poohcie's has made the world of difference for my grandpup!!! She has less anxiety in their smaller environment. The staff is always friendly and quick. They have a plethora of appointments, and my grandpup's haircut looks great!

I am very upset at how my Goldendoodle haircut turned out, he is no longer a Goldendoodle he looks like a shaved shitzu. I asked for a small trim and I understand he has knots but I believe the groomer went way overboard. They even shaved the top of his nose and I know my dog did Not have a knot on top of his nose parts of his hair on his legs were even shaved. I will not be returning to this place, I am beyond disappointed. This is not how my first visit went, the first time my puppy got the haircut I had requested, I’m not sure what happened this 2nd time. I would not recommend bringing your dog here for a trim or cut. We love Poochie’s Grooming Salon! My cavapoo Milo is always well taken care of there!! We’ve tried numerous groomers in the surrounding area and NO ONE compares to Poochie’s. I love the consistency of their work. Hands down one of CLT’s hidden pet grooming gems.

Would it be legal to post screenshots of the text messages that I received from horrible boss lady/owner at the time that my daughter worked for at Poochies Grooming? I'm curious how many hours a day should someone keep a adult lab inside a locked crate...like at what point is it just plain animal cruelty? I mean if you could treat an animal like that then you could do the same to a child or something like that...RIGHT?

Very disappointed in my visit here. I thought I was going there to get my doggo a trim. My instructions were to leave all hair on top of his head alone and dont cut his back hair too short. I wanted the legs and butt shorter than his entire body but not shaved. I repeated not to cut the hair on his head twice…They did a good job cutting his nails but thats it. It’s almost like she cut his hair how she wanted to and disregarded everything i said. My dog cried the whole ride home and I dont blame him. A “three hour appointment” turned into 20 minutes and the amount of effort shows.

Ms. Columbia took really good care of my fur baby. She explained everything that needed to be done and answered all my questions. This was a great experience and I'd recommend everyone to use them. This is before and after pics.

I want to start off by saying the groomers themselves were SO nice and so sweet. However, when I came to pick up my dog Wylie I was extremely surprised contrary to what their website page says. He has some sort of fohawk instead of the hair he already had which I loved, I asked for bath and paws/tail to be fixed. Its not like he had matting or anything on his head it just looks sooooo bad to and I am crying of frustration while my family laughs at the poor thing because of how bad he looks. Thankfully its hair that will grow back, but my tip would be to be clarify exactly what you do and dont want cut so you aren’t surprised.

I took an appointment from the manager there to my dog and she said it gonna cost $90 for hair cut, bath, nails and cleaning ears when I pick him up they want to charge me $120 instead of $90 and when I refused the manager didn't call me to explain why the extra fee and the deducted the amount from my debit card without my permission..they rude and untrusted I really don't recommend them and never back there again.. please read this lady's reply to know that she is not professional and she need to learn A B customer service, also she lied because they have big sign on the door that they close at 5.00 and I was there at 4.30 pm, after I already went on time 2.30 to took my dog and her employee tried to call her more than 10 times but no answer that's why I left till she answer her phone I don't have time to waste!, this is business and customer doesn't care about your personal issues and my dog only 9 months and your employee has copy of his rabies certificate with all his information, you only such a lier doesn't know how to deal with her business and rib off too, I still insist that I never recommend this place for any customer

As a first time customer I called and she said her 2 o’clock cancelled and I could come in. From walking In the door The place was very dirty and smelled horrible. On top of that I was turned away for being 15 minutes past the time she said to be there. I have never been to that part of Regent park and was coming from Rock Hill. I tried calling twice to get the specific location because I drove in circles for a few minutes trying to find it. I got no answer!! I asked if we could cut the appointment time to fit her schedule. She said she could only give a bath or do nails. I needed neither done I really was just focused on a hair cut. I asked if she could skip those things and just do hair. She declined. She said I needed you here earlier!! Really lady!! I called at 1 O’clock and got my dog ready and came. I understand the importance of time and appointments but Geez to be turned away after driving 30 minutes for the first time over 15 minutes seemed harsh. I didn’t see why 15 minutes couldn’t have been cut from the appointment time!! I was told you can reschedule!! Oh but by the way we’re booked out until after Christmas so yeah there’s that.

Don't come here went for ear cleaning brushing and nail trimming. My bad didn't check my dog ear before leaving. Eve did everything in 10 mins to my surprise ear was not cleaned at all. Sent pics but no response from Eve. This used to be my to go place for grooming but not anymore.

I have been taking my small love-one, Stinky, to Poochie's, specifically Eve, since July 2018. When the pandemic struck, and everyone struck gold by staying home and being paid, Eve was still working, and I was able to schedule Stinky in for the next day. Stinky always comes out looking new and smelling like fresh air.I highly recommend Poochie's for your grooming needs! Thank You EVE & POOCHIE'S!!

Quick nail trim $10 because he is easy. I always tip a bunch because other places charge Dutch (pictured border collie/pointer) $20-$30 for a nail trim. No hassle 5 minutes in and out they prefer appointments but are nice about walk-ins….good pricing on washes as well. My pointer border collie gets really inexpensive wash quotes everywhere.Now. I was quoted $150 for my friend’s puppy-ish Great Pyrenees (huge dog) everyone else wanted $250 plus tip after seeing pictures 😂 They work harder than most people do and offer great prices which is rare these days so I try to be generous…. Everyone please tip so their prices do not go up lol

I have been taking our Great Dane to Poochie's to have her nails trimmed weekly for over 1.5 years now. Eve, the owner, and Columbia are always pleasant and very professional. Everyone there treats all of the pets there waiting to be groomed with such care and love. Izzy, our Great Dane, loves going there every Fri or Sat. She walks in an immediately hops up on the table for Columbia to do her nails. I would highly recommend Poochie's for any pet owner looking for grooming services.

We had an appointment scheduled for the 10th. I called in about some forms they wanted us to sign with questions and she said our appointment is canceled anyway. I get things happening, but the customer service here needs to step it up.Also disclaimer if you use them. They make you sign a form that gives them permission to take your dog to the vet before or after grooming at your expense. And they don’t have to tell you about it before hand.

**Edit to add response to owner***When speaking on the phone our appointment was scheduled for 1pm as my girlfriend and I have work and no one would’ve been able to take our dog at 11am. I’m not saying there couldn’t have been a typo mistake to adjust this to 11am but we confirmed for 1pm. We also had been here two other times before and are apart of the app, we have been called before by the groomers to confirm appointments and pick up our dogs with absolutely no issue. There’s no reason we couldn’t have been reached. Its one thing to make a mistake, it’s another thing to completely lie. My girlfriend also provided her phone number upon scheduling the appointment. My girlfriend also called at 12:55pm and left her name and phone number when she found that you guys were closed. She never even received a phone call back. I wouldn’t say every effort was made, I would say barely any effort was made.My girlfriend has been taking our two dogs here for the last couple of months. The first time we took our dog lily here and Lisa did an absolutely amazing job on her, which prompted us to come back. The next time we took our dog Charlie, we found out Lisa no longer worked there so we gave another groomer a shot. His haircut was awful and his nails were poorly cut. We were also charged significantly more and were really upset. We still wanted to give this place the benefit of the doubt so we got lily in for today at 1pm. They were closed when arriving at 12:50pm. No call, no emails, no notifications of being closed or reaching out to reschedule. Groomers in this area are booked out months in advance, so now we’re looking elsewhere for our dog when we really needed to get her groomed today. Very disappointing and just unreliable groomers. I’d suggest looking elsewhere.

I really wanted to like this salon after reading the reviews and it being a short drive from home. The two ladies there were very nice but the groomer did not do what I asked. I specifically stated that I wanted my baby's hair cut a little shorter but to leave her fluffy. We went over the hair lengths on the chart and I chose the appropriate one. When I picked my girl up all of her hair was cut off. It literally looks like she was given a buzz cut. There was no fluff to her at all. I specifically said a puppy cut. I now have to wait for her hair to grow back in for the fullness I wanted to keep. She's even acting as if she knows something is different. Instead of making a scene I paid for the service and left. I did not get the service I requested. Sadly we will not be back.

Terrible customer service! I didn’t even get to meet her in person. When my boyfriend called he had it on speaker and to say she’s rude is an understatement she is down right attacking her clients. As I’m reading her responses to other client reviews, I realize this is just who she is a terrible business owner who doesn’t know how to run a business or accept constructive criticism. Never will I attempt to take my dogs here ever again.

I had been using the same groomers since my dog was a puppy but I just moved to the area so I had to find a groomer, which I was nervous about.I was so impressed and pleased with how my little guy looked and smelled! Excellent job! Even better than the place he had been going to for 7 years!! I am so happy to have found this place!! My new groomer for my boy Caleb! Thank you Poochies!!

Couldn't be happier with my overall experience here yesterday. Eve did an amazing job and was super accommodating. You can really tell when someone legitimately cares and takes pride in their work and it shouldn't go unnoticed. Delicate and took the time to go above and beyond and do it right. Arlo is super impressed with his new hairdo and feels/looks great. Super impressed, highly recommend and thanks again!!
