Petfolk is such a great place to take your pets. The staff is always friendly, kind, caring and knowledgeable. I take my fur babies her for not only urgent vet needs but also regular check ups due to convenience but price, as well. They are open on weekends and can almost always get me in the next day. Here’s my pup, not feeling well waiting patiently for her exam.

The process was flawless from start to finish for our emergency vet visit on a Sunday. The staff and Dr. Privette are top notch. It was easy to book online. Upon arrival our dog was given and exam and a thorough explanation with quote was provided. Clio received high quality care that resolved the issue and we were kept informed throughout. I highly recommend Petfolk!

I had such a great experience at Petfolk in Fort Mill! My 15 yo Tuxedo cat LuLu has a history of kidney issues. She had changes in behavior, hiding, fearful, and had not urinated in 18 hrs. Though I had been using a Vet in Charlotte for all of our cats for 20 years, they were unable to take her urgently. Petfolk urgent care had easy scheduling. I was called about her need for sedation prior to arrival which I appreciated.The facility was so clean and efficient! Dr. Jane and Whitny were wonderful to me and my fearful LuLu. I’m a retired nurse. There was open discussion about the plan of care, diagnostics, system reviews, and treatments.They were very concerned both LuLu and for my comfort. I’m very appreciative that LuLu was able to be seen and cared for so quickly!I will be transferring care to Petfolk! Thank You!

Our visit to Petfolk (Ft Mill location) was wonderful. The staff is so caring and gentle with our dog Lilly . The vet sat on the floor and took her time with Lilly and I know that Lilly would be in great hands when we go back again. The office is beautiful and comfortable for people and pets . I even witnessed staff members taking care of a small dog and they were so careful and loving to make sure it was taken care of . Lilly gives this office 5 paws !

I recently moved from out of state and finding a great vet for my dogs was something extremely important to me. After researching local vets near me I came across the Petfolk location in Fort Mill and decided to give it a try. It is safe to say that I have found my dogs’ new vet! The staff are always so friendly and each doctor I have seen has been extremely informative and great with my dogs! One of my dogs was ill recently and the care that he received at the vet as well as the check ins we received after the appointment and the following days were extremely comforting and made me feel like they truly do care about my dogs! I highly recommend!

Had an issue with one of our dogs and needed immediate assistance. Had seen the PetFolk signage just a few days before! Called them and they saw me & my pooch quickly, determined the issue, proposed a treatment and we were on our way! They were so kind, caring and very helpful! Great business! I had been to Petfolk once previously to bring a stray dog to them in hopes that they could help but the dog was not chipped. I noticed how compassionate and caring they were so it was a no-brainer to bring my little boy Kai to them when he was not acting like himself. They were exactly what I saw the first time I went to Petfolk, compassionate and caring. What more do you want from a vet? Our dogs are our children and you want your child to have the very best and I think Petfolk is the best.

Yesterday I took my chihuahua to my usual vet for some scary tummy problems. I’d been considering finding a new vet for a while because the past few times I’d been there, I felt like I was being talked at and not listened to. This visit, I wasn’t satisfied with the diagnosis given, nor the treatment which was pain meds. Something wasn’t sitting right and I was still really worried.I transferred to Petfolk on a recommendation and it was like night and day. I felt like I was being heard. The diagnosis she got here made more sense and we’re now treating the root cause instead of the symptoms. After 5 days of stressing out I’m finally feeling peaceful and confident about my dog’s road to recovery. They handled her so well and the overall vibe was so much more comforting. For the first time in years, I walked out of a vet visit feeling relieved and like had gotten answers. I’m so glad to have found this good fit, highly recommend taking your pets here!

Such an amazing experience. The office is super clean and the rooms are very spacious. Josh is amazing and really made my puppy’s first vet visit a pleasant one. I was also very pleased that they followed up via text message on how my puppy was doing after his shots and ear cleaning. Great experience. I would recommend to everyone.

We needed to take our dear cat who was in her last days to the vet early on a Saturday morning but our vet was closed for the weekend. My wife found Petfolk online and I was able to easily get an early appointment at the last minute. When we entered the facility, it felt spacious and airy, very clean and well laid out with lots of natural light, even in the patient rooms. Our technician was warm and caring and made us feel at ease as we explained our concerns with Ginger. She figured out pretty quickly what the underlying issue was and explained it in a way that was easy to understand. When the doctor came in, she confrimd the diagnosis and asked us if we wanted to do a quick 20-minute lab test for final confimation. That was exactly what we wanted to do. We were pretty amazed we could get the results that soon. We didn't mind staying in the patient room with Ginger as it was so nice in there and she seemed to like it too with one side of the room having glass from floor to ceiling for Ginger to look outside. Lab results gave final confirmation and the doctor went over them with us on the terminal screen in our room. We discussed our end of life home care plan with the doctor and although it was a sad time for us we were confident we knew how we could give Ginger comfort and peace in her final days. We really appreciate and would like to thank everyone there who helped us at the last minute and there was no extra charge for the short notice. The kindness and understanding we felt there was like the big hug we needed. This is a wonderful, well run and well staffed place to bring your pet. The doctors and techs are not only exceptionally competent and professional, but gentle and kind with the pets and their owners. We love this place and will be using them from now on. We are very grateful to have found Petfolk and to have met these wonderful humans in this difficult time.

I am very pleased with the patience the team at Petfolk Fort Mill has shown my pups! My biggest boy really dislikes going to the vet. He needs to be muzzled as he can get snippy. They were patient with him and understanding of his reservations. We were able to find a way to get his exam done and all his vaccines. It took an army but they were great! Really appreciate all the care they put into his appointment.

We had a very good experience with the Petfolk staff. Our 8 year old cat had been vomiting with a poor appetite and seemed stressed. Petfolk had an afternoon opening so Momma Kitty was seen quickly. There are lots of options for appointments including a virtual visit if needed. The staff was very attentive and explained every step of the visit. No surprises. They sprayed pheromones on their hands, exam table and towel plus used a slow and calm approach to reduce her stress. This was very much appreciated. Dr. Jane did a thorough exam, blood work was drawn and followed up the following day. Momma Kitty is feeling much better. I felt she was in good hands and we will utilize this practice for future visits.

My puppy was having a medical emergency. And as I was driving down the road, I looked up and I saw Petfolk. I walked into the office and within one minute my puppy was seen and examined. They were kind and patient and caring, and they were able to help my puppy. They answered all of my questions, and I felt very comfortable, and at ease with the staff taking care of her. I could not have asked for better care for my puppy. Thank you so much to everyone in the Fort Mill South Carolina location at Petfolk for the wonderful care.

I wouldn't have my baby today as only one other place I could find was available for my pekingese Chelsea, was in need of an emergency c-section. This was the only hospital that could take her and the entire staff was on stand by on arrive. I have never in all my experiences recieved such love and care from people I just meet. Highly recommend anyone to stop in and have this team of wonderful people take care of your little ones and keep your heart at ease. Short Version: Wonderful experience. Will be our vet moving forward. Super clean. Very sweet and knowledgeable staff. My pup did not seem anxious being there at all. Large exam rooms.Long Version: My almost 4 year old German Shepard tore his back left outer nail out the other week (which I have never heard could happen to a dog before) and I took him to an emergency vet because there was a ton of blood and he was not putting pressure on the leg at all and I was unsure what to do in this situation. They informed me they will need to sedate him, take the nail off, clean the paw, continue to stop the bleeding and then he will be fine. It will take a few months for the nail to grow back. They return within 2 minutes and state they took the nail off, no sedation, it is still bleeding a little but I was good to go. I only needed to make sure he doesn't lick his paw because that could lead to infection. No real discussion or anything else.I bought an inflatable neck cone but he could still reach his paw so I bought the plastic cone instead. He would not let me really clean the wound (since the emergency vet place I went to did not) and by the end of the week, it just did not look good and he was still limping slightly. We were probably there for 30 minutes discussing the whole situation and they reassured me I was doing things properly but should be able to clean the wound. Prescribed some medicine to also make me feel a little better but to just continue with the cone but the nail will take a while to grow back but he will be just fine!

They’re open 7 days a week, the staff was so friendly, and the building was nice and clean. I called around noon on Saturday and they were able to see us at 2pm same day! My pup and I were new patients bc our normal vet is closed Sat/Sun and I needed to get my girl in for abdominal tightness. The dr recommended blood work and xrays to get a better diagnosis, and she was very kind and understanding when I told her we’d pursue that with our regular vet since the issue wasn’t urgent, and we’d already been planning to do that with them.

They got us in, and even though we got the horrible news that our cat has cancer, they were super helpful. They followed up with us for days after the appointment to check on him and make sure he is comfortable and has all the meds he needs to stay comfortable. I cannot recommend a better vet. We will be back for sure if he declines, but the meds they gave him are helping him so much. I'm so grateful to have such a caring vet. I've never experienced anything like this before in my life, and it's a great feeling knowing a vet actually cares and wants to check on your pet.

Petfolk and the staff were amazing. They treated our dog like family as soon as we walked in. Everyone was so friendly and Dr. Armstrong was very thorough and explained everything to us. She took her time with my baby.She needed her teeth cleaned and extracted. I have had a very positive experience at the Fort Mill location and the fact that my dog enjoys going in the door which he can typically put the breaks on if he is sensitive to his surroundings. They are very way to reach and quick to respond after my puppy had a procedure there. I also appreciate you can text them a question and they respond!

The staff at the Ft Mill location are great! The techs have been amazing as well as the Drs. Everyone is friendly and helpful. And I like that they talk with you about costs upfront and don't leave it as a surprise at the end.

The focus is on the pet & it’s so obvious. Compassionate staff, clean clinic, convenient location. Pixie was treated like a queen by the entire staff, even those that weren’t directly involved in her care. We will be back!Update: We have now taken all of our animals to PetFolk & every single visit has been phenomenal. We are so happy we switched to this vet!

The clinic is open every day which for me is perfect. My company is open 24/7 so I need the flexibility that Petfolk provides. I recently moved here from Columbia and the vets and vet techs here are extremely knowledgable. They have told me about websites that will deliver my cats medicines to my door. They also have a pet membership that provides discounts, eliminates fees, and even provides virtual visits! I have a cat that is so fearful of the vet to the point where he defends himself like he’s fighting for his life. The vets here are the first ones who have ever told me how to lessen this fear. It’s absolutely amazing.
