This review is a little late but I just wanted to say what an awesome place!! I’m a new schnauzer owner and was very hesitant about getting Jack groomed, I could not have been happier with the way he looks! This was his 1st skirt! Lol 😝 My go to spot definitely!!! My first time to this place, and first time with injury to my dog from a professional groomer in 4 years. I'm no professional dog groomer but my goldendoodle came home with red abrasions on the inside of his back leg. I know accidents happen, but they didn't even tell me about it or apologize for injuring my pup. They were nice, he has a good hair cut, but unfortunately they lost my trust.

My dog, Casey and I love the staff at Dirty Dog Depot. He is always happy when I bring him to the shop and pick him up so that let's me know that he's being cared for and loved. I've tried a big named pet store but didn't get a vibe and neither did Casey therefore Dirty Dog Depot is our number 1 pet and gromming store! Thanks for these awesome 6 years!! See you soon!!

They are the best groomers around. Its been so difficult finding anyone who can handle long hair dogs. They did amazing. My two dogs never looked so good , felt so soft and smelled so clean And the grooming was spectacular!

This was our first time at this groomer and we could not be more pleased! Coming from a different groomer that shaved our Australian Shepard (which we did not ask for) I was very nervous about trying a new place. This facility eased our minds entirely! They were very friendly during drop off and the groomer made sure she understood exactly what we wanted. At pick-up I was so very happy with how she looked! The groomer came out and told me how she did and was extremely kind. They did exactly what we wanted. I would highly recommend them!!

Had to board my pup for 6 weeks while at training. Holly was so helpful with the whole boarding process. She loves dogs and takes great care of them. Her constant communication and updates with pictures/videos kept me at ease while I was at training. I would use her again in a heartbeat. 100% recommend!

This place is the place to go if your pet needs nails clipped. The staff was friendly and gentle with my dog who otherwise has a rough time at other places. We walked in and they took my dog back immediately and was done in just a few minutes. We let them know that sometimes the sound of the nail grinder scares our dog. They were very patient and my dog did great. We will definitely be back again.

Friendly staff, understood how my 2yr old 6lb malti/shih tzu is terrified of getting groomed. They let me leave his small dog bed to help relax in the kennel after they groomed him. He actually left happy and not scared. They are very familiar with this breed because they had 3 more to be groomed that day....😅Just fyi, there are 2 free roaming adult cats when you walk into the shop to get to the check in desk if you are highly allergic to cats. But they are calm and very friendly. I would recommend this groomer and I plan on returning.

They need an online scheduling system to avoid allllll the confusion, overbooking and scheduling issues I have encountered. I am very busy and don’t have time to constantly keep up with calling and paper books which have no paper trail. There should be a system in place to keep up with the appointments and there is clearly not. I was booked one day and they asked to reschedule due to staffing which was very inconvenient for me (not to mention WEEKS after her original appointment.) One day I came to get her around 3:30 and she wasn’t done so I went next door to Walmart to do some shopping I needed to fit it only for them to call me a a little before 4 telling me to come so I let them know would be right over (literally 3 mins) and they had the nerve to threaten to charge me 25 dollars for being 1 minute late when they were the ones behind! It’s very unfortunate becuse I try to be consistent and have the same groomer to keep her comfortable but at this point I’m forced to switch to someone not only closer as I drove here just for them but someone who can schedule properly which is vital for me.

Our first time was over a year ago and we had a great experience, every experience after that was horrible for our small purebred Yorkie. We were unable to schedule an appointment during the pandemic and we do feel like we were singled out because of a disgruntled employee however we have attempted to reschedule recently and were met with nasty remarks regarding our Yorkies last visit. A woman told us that it was noted in their computer system that this 10 lb puppy was aggressive and violent during his last experience however none of this was explained to us when he was last groomed so we were definitely caught off guard and can't imagine why our poor Yorkie is being singled out. A very horrible experience and feeling it is to not be able to get such an expensive beautiful purebred puppy groomed. Unfortunately we understand small-town politics and things of that nature so we now have to find a better suited groomer. There's no need to continue to spend money where our money is not wanted. I wish our previous experiences were like our first experience and some of these reviews.

These groomers are the best! We have two long-haired dogs that need routine regular grooming and the value and quality of their work is second to none! We get exactly what we ask for at a great price compared to other chain groomers. Thank you!

I love visiting the Dirty Dog Depot. The staff is incredibly kind, they have a large variety of pet treats, food, and toys, and their two store cats are the cutest and sweetest things ever. They do a great job grooming my pups and they are always happy to see them. When I drop them off, they run straight to the back with no worries!

I am so pleased with Dirty Dog. I have been in Tega Cay for five years and have not found anyone that knew how to cut a Giant Schnauzer until I found Dirty Dog. I highly recommend them.

The staff is amazing! Anna is wonderful. Knowing my dog is a rescue, she is very attentive to her emotional needs while meeting her grooming needs. There is a great group that works there. Awesome place! #Fefee/Joey

My dog got major crate anxiety the day I took him to Dirty Dog Depot. He used to love his crate and playpen and slept all night since we got him, and the day I took him grooming there he started crying and jumped over the playpen for the first time. He also got a liquid stool for the first time in the evening and the following day after his service, without any changes in diet at home... Though the grooming itself was fine and the stuff was nice. But definitely cannot bring my dog back there again.

we love all the staff at Dirty Dog Depot i never have to worry about my dog's safety WHEN THEY ARE THERE BEING GROOMED i know they are given water during their stay......they know how we want them bathed and they always do a great job ! ....We love all of the groomers there. People were very nice with me, but my dogs were a bit hurts when they cut their hair. They had small wounds under the snout, inside their ears and signs of blood inside of their paws. I understand that the dogs don't like grooming, but I hope that the personnel of that kind of place can be very carefully with the pets. They must have training for that...I hope that! I don't know what happened, because it's a recommended place. It was my first time there.🤔🙄😒

Dirty Dog is one of the top notch grooming shops in the surrounding Charlotte area. They are easy to work with, easy to schedule, most always have our dog ready before the estimated time and our dog always looks great! Kudos to their great work!

Brought my dog here for the first and last time. I had paid for him to get bathed, groomed, nails cut, ears plucked. Was told he would be ready at 2 pm (you’d assume he’d be ready if you dropped him off a little before 10 am) however he wasn’t even ready. When I got there I could hear my dog whining and crying . Left the salon with a scrape and cut marks underneath his arm and his belly. He did not have his nails trimmed. And only got one ear plucked. However he did have a really nice haircut. This goes to show that people don’t care about how they do their job as long as they get their job done. $45 worth of poor service. If you care about your dog, do not come here.

I’m editing my review after a VERY upsetting experience today. We brought our dog Chloe in for the second time today (the first time there was a miscommunication and she got completely shaved sadly, we didn’t say anything and trusted that this time would be better) when we dropped her off we mentioned she had some mats because we spent time out of state and she had a lot of fun playing in the snow. I’m pretty careful about making sure that she is brushed often. We knew these mats would be hard to get out but trusted that they could do it without making her look awful. When we picked her up we noticed right away that she didn’t look at all like we expected. Her coat was much shorter than we had asked for and her nails didn’t appear to have been trimmed and she was shedding like crazy (she always has shed a tiny bit but this normally only happens if she’s bathed before her groom and not after). After closer examination at home where she was more comfortable we found multiple shaved patches, including on her ears, belly, under ears and numerous other spots. We then found a “razor burn spot” that had clearly bled and a spot on her side that we now feel concerned about that we have to take her to the vet. We are now having to take her somewhere to be re groomed after paying a hundred dollars.

Left my 2 dogs for over a week at Dirty Dog Depot. I was worried because I have never left them that long. I went to pick them up today and both dogs were happy and very clean (They both had baths) The staff there really seems to get to know the dogs that stay there and really care about them. I will definitely be using them again.

My puggle Punkin loves to go there for boarding. She always come back healthy, happy and clean. When she needs medication, they make sure she gets it. The little dogs are separate from the big dogs so I know she's safe and sound. They do a wonderful job with the grooming. I've been a customer for over 5 years and won't go anywhere else.

Love love love the staff at Dirty Dog Depot! They are always so willing to work with my schedule & the grooming staff knocks it out of the park! My Boxer loves it there, proof is when he walks himself in! Don't over pay & put your animals at risk @ the big box stores. . . Bring then to the Dirty Dog Depot! You'll be glad you did! ! :-)

They scalped my poor dog. I asked that they not cut him too short or cut him to look like a poodle and she cut his ears straight across like a poodle and you could literally see his pink skin they cut his hair so short. It looks like my 2 year old cut his hair. Also overpriced for the service you receive. I honestly deserve a refund!
