What an awesome service to provide for beach goers at Folly! I booked two chairs and one umbrella for our first beach and and enjoyed it so much that we ended up booking them for the next day too!Super easy to navigate the website to make a red ahead of time OR if you’re by the pier you can just walk up and rent them day of.The staff was super friendly and helpful and the chairs were nice and accommodating for big bodies. I will most definitely book with Folly Beach Chair Company the next time I visit!

Rented two umbrellas with no chairs. And got there a little late but glad we did. No need to look for a spot as that spot was already reserved as ours. The person was very helpful when I told them I had a rental. And immediately got up and showed us where it was. Later asked about a chair rental, and it was smooth going as well. Would recommend and definitely use again when visiting Folly Beach.

Folly Beach Chair Co. created the most perfect beach day for my bachelorette party! They were so kind and helpful too! We booked yoga on the beach, charcuterie picnic, chairs, umbrellas, and cornhole. Start to finish, it was perfection! The design of the table was truly beautiful complete with fresh flowers. Yoga with Olivia was a great way to start our day of relaxation after a couple of nights out in Charleston. It was the highlight of the trip and we didn’t want our beach day to end!

Super fun experience. We did a morning yoga class with Olivia which was an amazing way to start the day. They’ve recently added an adorable picnic with pillows and a canopy and it was delicious and so much easier than packing everything ourselves. Perfect for our bachelorette trip. The entire staff was great to work with. 10/10 would do this again.

Visited Folly Beach for a Girls Trip and rented a house on the beach that did not have any chairs so this seemed to be the best option. It couldn't have been more perfect. Every day they set up the chairs and umbrellas and picked them up every night. Easy Peasy. We had zero problems and couldn't have been happier. Definitely worth the money - not having to hall stuff back and forth to the beach! Highly recommend!

Folly Beach Chair Company is absolutely AMAZING!!!! Not only do they have wonderful, quality beach chairs, umbrellas, and tents, but the staff is extremely timely, friendly, and professional. The best part about this company is that they specialize in giving back to their community. As a Program Director for a local non-profit here in Charleston serving at-risk youth and youth in foster care, teaming up with FBCC has been nothing short of a blessing. For the past few years, FBCC has been a proud sponsor of beach gear for our annual Folly Beach Day for kids in foster care, and because of their kindness and generosity, our event has been more successful than ever! Mike, the owner, is so great to work with, and always goes above and beyond to make sure all of the beach gear is set up nicely for our guests who attend. You can be sure that you're in good hands with a rental from Folly Beach Chair Company! They are THE BEST!!!!! =)

Folly Beach was so much fun. We enjoyed it more than Isle of Palms. Definitely recommend making a reservation with Folly Beach Chair rental. They had our chairs and umbrella set up when we arrived. The beach offers showers and dressing rooms with bathrooms upstIrs by the pier. There are tons of sea shells 🐚 if you like to find those. The beach is dog friendly too.

Folly Beach Chair Company set up a post wedding brunch for us on the beach and it turned out absolutely amazing. We had approximately 50 people at the event and they helped me pick and choose the correct packages + add on additional chairs, umbrellas, etc until we had the perfect amount of seating and shade. We also rented coolers and ice from them. It was truly a one stop shop. They set everything up well before we arrived to the beach and packed everything up when the event was over. We didn’t lift a finger. I would highly recommend using them.

This was so fun and worth every penny. My family planned a beach day and we were all flying from different places. We had 8 chairs, 4 umbrellas, an ice chest(with ice), boggie boards, and cornhole set up. They set us up right by the entrance in the perfect spot, and Holden helped us get all our bags out there in the atv thing. My Dad is 80 so this was a huge help.The beach was amazing, but without the right things to make it comfortable its not going to be as enjoyable. FBCC solves this for you.We plan on going back to Folly Beach every year, and we will continue to use Folly Beach Chair Company.

Absolutely top-notch experience renting beach chairs and umbrellas from Mike, Wendy and the Folly Beach Chair Co. team! Every time I go to Folly, I pre-book my chairs and umbrellas online, and then when I show up for my first beach day, there's my little shady, comfy compound with sturdy, high-quality canvas umbrellas and awesome steamer chairs with leg rests, ready for me and my loved ones to enjoy. Can't recommend this small, local, family-owned business highly enough! The owners and their kids are a local family that lives on the island, and they give back to the community in really cool ways. Love it!

They handled everything! Planning a bach party is always stressful, but we were able to book chairs / umbrellas, beautiful picnic set up, cornhole and beach yoga for an all day beach day through them. It really helped me out, and everyone loved it. The picnic set up I think is new - we highly recommend! The team was so kind as well, making us feel very welcomed.

Mike and his crew are the best in the business. They are efficient with set up for when you need it and are so friendly and caring. I wouldn't use another company for chair and umbrella rentals. Did you know they also rent out coolers with ice? Folly Beach Chair company is the first call I make when I make plans to go to the beach. They are that good!

Definitely recommend! Typically we lug chairs and a small umbrella that we then have to keep adjusting and hoping it doesn't blow away. This trip we didn't have the room so we ended up renting and so glad we did! Service was amazing. Spot on the beach was a prime location and everything was set up perfectly when we got to the beach. Add in just being able to get up and walk away at the end of the day any you cannot go wrong!

I’ve used this company a few times and this last time was my best experience yet. We went to Folly with my mother who has mobility restrictions; I reached out to the company to confirm the easiest way to come in with her restrictions, they made note that our chairs were to be set up closest to the entry. I arrived a little early to see which direction we needed to walk to once our time came but the workers stopped what they were doing to swiftly help set up our spot so it was ready. Once settled the workers came over and checked on us multiple times during our reservation period. It was a fantastic experience that will push me to recommend and use this company again.

Highly recommend this company!! Top notch service and friendly staff—shoutout to Justin & Carly especially! The crew had our chairs and umbrella set up every morning right next to the house we were renting! We usually lug our own chairs & everything down, but it was so nice & convenient having them set everything up & take it down for us! We even accidentally left our speaker on one of the chairs one day & didn’t realize it, but we called the next day and they went out of their way & brought it all the way down to the beach to us! Will definitely be using this company again :)

By having chairs and umbrellas set up for us each morning we were at the beach made everything about our stay seamless and stress free. I was recently at Folly Beach and inadvertently booked my chairs and umbrella for the wrong date. The gentleman on duty was so kind and understanding, he promptly honored my request and moved the order to the right date with no issues on my side. The tide was high that day, so beach space was limited. This person ensured i got to pick a spot and got me set up right away. Highly recommend using this service, but just be mindful that the order sometimes automatically defaults to next day. Otherwise, kind, respectful and excellent service.

Used this company for a bachelorette party! It was perfect! They had all our chairs out and ready for us! I'm so happy we did this b/c we got to the beach a little later than expected and it was packed! We would have never found a place for 8 of us! Amazing experience for my bachelorette party! Our Airbnb was a 9 minute walk to the beach so no one wanted to lug chairs and umbrellas. They had our chairs and umbrellas set up exactly where we requested every day! We also got a cooler with ice which was very convenient. I did not realize, *THEY DELIVER YOUR COOLER TO YOUR AIRBNB* so you can load it up prior to going to the beach. They were very easy to get ahold of by phone and we still had some girls back at the Airbnb so it was no big deal. Highly recommend this company!

If I could give minus stars I would. This company took our money in bad faith and intentionally defaulted on contract in may that was signed in January. Address for chair set up was CONFIRMED in January. However when it came time to deliver they straight up refused to deliver contacted beach chairs. If that’s not bad enough they were rude and tried to weasel out of responsibility by blaming the bride, blaming the matron of honor. Hell they may have been tied to blame the combat vet Marine groom. It’s insane. Their total focus is on themselves and excuses. Not on the bridal party, customer service or fulfilling their contract.Mistakes happen. Refusing to refund on THEIR MISTAKE is unbelievable.

Obviously by the reviews, this is a great company if the weather is in your favor. Unfortunately for me, it was not and I wasted $300 and did not get to use the equipment for one minute. The cancellation policy and customer service needs to be worked on. Tried cancelling the same morning as 40 mph winds and storms, was told no.

A complete scam. Do not rent from this company. We made a reservation 6 months ago and received our confirmation email that the chairs will be set up at the closest beach access to our given location. On the confirmation email is states “set up location:” and then our address provided. You would think then that they would stand by the contact given. They never told us that the confirmation email could not be fulfilled. We called them to confirm and was THEN told that they cannot provide service and would not be giving us a refund. The manager and owner that I talked to was incredibly rude and tried to blame it all on us for making an incorrect reservation. So disappointed that this is how they treat a military family on Memorial Day weekend.

We rented on short notice. I got messed up with my directions to the umbrella, and they immediately sent someone out to help. It was a nice umbrella, sat 4, and we had a great day!
