Every employee at this Home Depot is friendly and helpful (special shout out to Melvin, Jen, and Ebony for exceptional customer service on 4/23/24). The employees at the Customer Service Desk also go above and beyond to help my husband and I with exchanges and returns as new do-it-yourselfers who often get into projects that are a bit beyond our skill level.

Today me and my brother was greeted by Ebony, a Home Depot Associate at store # 8580. She came to our rescue when we were in need of having a key cut. She was nice, polite and very familiar with the process of cutting keys. She gave great custom service.

Went to the Florence home Depot Lila from appliance's was very helpful! It got very busy so Delphine stepped in to help they work so good together! And the manager on duty Ahmond was amazing!

Home Depot is a pretty good store to go to for hardware supplies, tools, etc.Sometimes they just don’t have enough of the item. I am looking for which is a bummer.Or the Home Depot website inventory is way way off which is a real bummer

Charles, one of the Homedepot associate at store # 8580 give me and my brother the greatest customer service that we’ve experienced in a very very long time. He was well professional, courteous, experienced and patient while assisting us. I wish more store associates were like him.

I shop here every week. Almost daily. The clerks running the actual registers are excellent. The rest of the store is understaffed with unknowledgeable associates in every department. No sense of urgency in the service. So much material on the shelves damaged from forklifts. So many products out of stock. I was told once again by an employee that then walked away that there would be know way to check when stock would be back on the shelves. I will still shop here. I like the products the company chooses to sell, but I will go to any other store if I know they stack the same products.

Did a lumber order for next day delivery, the the delivery driver called the next day to verify address, found out it was 39 miles,guess he didn't want to go that far because a hour later got a email that my order couldn't be delivered. So is home depot going to fit the bill for my lost revenue, no all you get is we're sorry. I'll never buy from them again and talking everyone go else where, it lowes or local hadeware store.

Do not let Home Depot install windows and don’t trust them to back their work. We paid $2600 for the new window, wrong window ordered by HD so we had to wait for the correct one so it took months to get it installed. The installers came from Georgia and had no clue what they were doing because the window leaked on the inside and under porch roof. HD sent them back 3 times and all they did was caulk the outside which did not nothing to stop the leak. We just paid someone $1500 to have the window taken out and reinstalled correctly with a guarantee and $500 for inside Sheetrock to be repaired. We will never do business with Florence HD again.Update March 2024. (Last 2 pictures) We had to hire another company to replace what Home Depot installed. It now looks amazing and doesn’t leak. Very expensive lesson.

AVOID THIS STORE FOR MAJOR REMODELING IF POSSIBLE (sorry for the all caps, the experience described below is upsetting)In May 2021, The florence home depot sent 2 installers to complete a flooring job. The flooring installers were rude, argumentive, and out of retaliation decided to install new $2,000+ flooring over damaged existing flooring!!!!!>The 2 installers did NOT alert anyone present; nor did NOT explain they could not install new flooring over a termite damaged floor that even had a baseball sized hole in it.>Looking at the flooring no one could tell there was termite damage underneath. <>The ONLY clue occurred recently when a small dip in the corner of the room was noticed. <A contractor was called out. The flooring was pulled up and the damage underneath was discovered to the original floor, plus the termites ate under the new flooring as well.We called the florence store, and on 2/19/24 spoke to Takiah Asst Manager 1st, we explained what happened and that we have pictures of everything; Takiah said she would reach back out and did not, LIAR!!!!. Next on Saturday 2-24-24, we spoke to LaTonya, a resolution leader; also spoke to LaTonya on Tuesday, 2-27-24, requesting the district manager to reach out to the family and the I left LaTonya another message on Friday 3-1-24.Today on 3-2-24 I called the store at 12 noon to get an update, Latoya said she would called back, she lied also. When I called back after 2:00 pm today, the store said LaTonya left for the day and I was transfered ironically to Takiah, back to square one, the liar that never reached back out as originally promised.Takiah wanted to know if Mr. Ramsey another Asst Mgr had spoken to the family, I confirmed he did.Note: Shelly the flooring install leader, also claimed nothing could be done.Takiah explained that because we were past the 1 year install warranty, there was nothing home depot could do.I asked for the contact number to the District Manager and Takiah said her, the install manager Shelly, asst Mgr Ramsey and Latonya already talked to the Manager on the family behalf and the district manager agreed that there was nothing home Depot can do because we did not say nothing to home depot since 2021.>Please keep in mind, The family could not tell there was anything wrong with the flooring until we noticed the recent dip in the corner of one of the rooms; this was a 2 room flooring install.<>All we were asking for was help to get new flooring to replace the termite damaged flooring we purchased in 2021; nothing more... 20 boxes of new flooring is needed to cover two rooms.>I asked Takiah for the district manager number she declined to give me the number.>My request to speak to the store manager multiple times was also when ignored every time we called the florence SC store.I told Takiah we are going to social media and she could have cared less.DO NOT GET ANY MAJOR PROJECTS or FLOORING PROJECTS DONE at the florence SC store. They have been brains washed to protect the company's bottom line and could careless about the customer experience overall.Save yourself the headache and support the Florence SC Lowes down the street, or if you can, go to the home depot in Columbia SC!!!!A one star rating is too good for this sorry store, they deserve a NO stars!!!!How dare you home depot Florence treat customers like this and hide behind a one year warranty and refuse to accept that you're floor installers did a HORRIBLE job!!!! The installer HID existing damage, and we are out of $2,000+.... THAT IS WRONG!!! How any of the management at the florence home depot store sleeps at night is beyond me, SMH!!!! Just know God knows your questionable intentions home depot management and He is watching everything all the time!!!!

Please do not purchase any major appliances from the home depot there policy is garbage if you happen to receive a bad product. I bought and paid for a dryer and upon receipt my product did not work. I brought the product to the store from which it was purchased and the store manager refused to refund my payment. I will never spend another cent with the home depot and I urge everyone reading this review to find a better establishment to spend your money .

On 2/12/22 I was sold a used rusted tile saw. I opened it up to do my home project on 2/13/22 to find I was sold a used product as a new item.At this point I can’t do my tile project until the next weekend as I work long hours during the week. This means that my shower is inoperable until the next weekend and my wife and I have no where to wash unless we go to a public area. I tried to to explain my concerns and frustration to the on duty manager “Sonja”. She ignored that the item was used and rusted and sold to me as a new product and simply asked me repeatedly if it worked or not. As If I should accept the saw as is if it turns on.Ultimately her solution was for me to drive 1.5 hours away to get a (hopefully) new Ryobi saw at another location or get 50 dollars back and try to make use of a used rusted saw that is missing parts and a manual.I have been using The Home Depot as my place of business for home improvement projects for as-long as I can remember. This is extremely disappointing that the Florence team solution was ultimately for me to deal with their mistake and move along.

Very unorganized took 30 minutes to find a nail gun. Took 10 min to get the cabinet un locked. Wouldn't sell me the display so I could just leave computer said 3 in stock so they had to find one of those?

We drove into the store to buy 2 6ft scaffolding. I had called earlier to check that they had them. The woman on the phone wanted scu #, she couldn't help me. We bought the 5 gal paint for our project. 4 people at customer service looked at us, ignored us even after I waived them down.

I go here occasionally to kill off some time at lunch since I work close by. They have good prices on stuff and employees seemed helpful each time I’ve been there. I bought a large compressor there that was the cheapest I found and I love it.

My artificial bush arrived broken. It cost me $70 to have a welding shop to repair it because I had to use it at a party... and no time to send it back for replacement because they were on backorder. Home Depot would only refund $56 of my total cost. 😒

Neat pretty organized. Staff is helpful. I think it's amazing that on the 1st Saturday of the month they have little projects you can do with your kids. It's awesome. They get to build and paint then. If it's your first time you get an apron. Each project comes with a pin that you add on to the apron. It's pretty awesome.

I'm not one the post bad reviews online and I'm aware of the fact that it really depends on who is serving you and how their day is going but hopefully this kind of review can help the store management improve and help their employees.I placed an order for a curbside pickup, got the notofocation that my order was ready, drove there, notified the store that I was there, waited for FORTY MINUTES, called the store, waited on the phone for 15 more minutes, only for the person to tell me that they were very busy and couldn't help me because they were helping customers in the store.I had two infants and two toddlers in the car, so I couldn't just unload everybody and get in the store. I just asked if they could cancel my order because I really had to leave, and they said it wasn't possible and I had to wait. So I waited for 10 more minutes to finally get my order. The person apologized and said they didn't have enough staff to serve me. I wish they would not accept curbside orders if they couldn't serve their customers...

What is the problem with this staff not being able to think logically? This isn’t the first time this has happened. Purchased an item, didn’t even leave the store, still at the checkout when I noticed the item was broken. Told the cashier I needed to change it out for the exact same item. Two supervisors told her, with me standing there, to tell me that I needed to roll the item to customer service, return it, and buy again so they can mark it as broke. Finally, I guess the supervisor actually heard her own words as she rested it again she realized how dumb that is and finally just said to swap it out since it is the same item. It’s as if the robots can’t think for themselves.

Lazy sunday afternoon shift employees. 20 mins til closing only needed help finding a board that online said had 250 in stock. Was not in location it was suppose to be. Was told no one could help me due to closing in 20 mins. Don't expect anyone to help you towards in of shift. When store closes at 8. That means 8 o'clock not 20 minutes til.

Charged me over $6200 for interior doors and installation. Ordered and installed wrong doors. 3 of the 4 sets initially installed. 5th set still not installed. Paid in September. It is now April. Acknowledged the doors were not the right ones. Said would take care of me. Then they started avoiding me after telling me there is nothing to talk about after they came to my home to see the doors. They know they did wrong but don’t care. Beware. Local news alerted and got back to me. They have interest in the story.
