Sub station was an absolute mess. They were out of oil, cheese, and lettuce. All the meat lids were off and the meatballs were cold. This was all at 2:30 in the afternoon, hate to see what the dinner rush looked like. Guy making the subs was rude and everyone in the back was just standing around looking useless. Veggies were not sliced correctly, I think the onions I got on my sub were quartered. Last I checked this is a grocery store sub shop, if your out of product, walk two aisles down and restock your supplies, Publix has no problems with managing this same problem. This is a higher end grocery store, you would think better services would be offered.

We found everything on my list, which is generally not the case at other grocery stores. The staff was courteous and knowledgeable. Sorted groceries by type very efficiently at checkout.

Went there tonight to pick out some stuff for a nice dinner on our one night off together.The guys in the meat department were amazing.And the steaks!We've agreed to never eat another Walmart steak.

I’ve grown up with Harris Teeter and I’ve been a loyal customer for years. I know it’s technically Kroger now, but when they kept the brand, I was hoping they would keep the same level of customer service. That is not the case.First of all, this store smells terrible. There’s an ongoing battle between the fresh seafood and bleach. It’s hard to tell which odor is winning, because they’re both so prominent.Secondly, the customer service is “meh” at best ( even if you go to the Customer Service Desk. I know there’s supposed to be a labor shortage, but seriously … pay extra to get those shelves stocked and keep at least one register open late in the evenings.

Prices were good on the snow crabs, it really surprised me at 9.99 a pound. I thought this store was very expensive this is why I had been passing it by. But one day decided to drop in and was so happy I did. Items are fresh.I left a happy customer.

Great grocery store. Best grocery store in town for fresh meats, fish, vegetables and anything hard to find. Prices are reasonable but some standard things like sodas and milk are a little more than other stores. But great place with great people!

Everyone here is always so pleasant ! The chefs behind the sushi counter always are so welcoming and nice. Even the cart people in the parking lot! Harry didn’t hesitate to help me find a great turkey and was extremely helpful! It’s always a wonderful experience.

The times I've been there, it has been quite busy and crowded, but that is not a complaint as it is merely a result of the store's popular reputation within the community. People know that when they come here, they will find great deals in a welcoming environment, and will be treated with respect.

Always great sales but have y'all had their sinfully chocolate cake!? It's soooo good and moist! The red velvet one is blah though. They don't use cream cheese frosting.

Excellent customer service!We needed some great steaks and the amazing and friendly butcher did not disappoint. Super fast too!Then at self checkout, we were unable to ring the meat up ourselves, the manager stepped up and delivered his assistance in the same friendly manor.I only visit the area, but you can believe I will be a shopper at this particular location when I am in town.

I shop at Harris teeter ALL the time and yesterday I had my first WORST experience with them ever, waited at the front counter for 15 mins where 4 guys were just standing their laughing and joking not caring about the customers. Finally I spoke up and someone helps me , I asked about getting a check cashed showed him the check and he looks at the check as if I wasn’t supposed to receive a check from my credit card company, he proceeds to say why would they send you this if you have an account? Then says is the account still open? I would call them back and tell them don’t send a check to me it should be a credit. All while saying we can’t cash this. He then slangs my check and my drivers license across the counter , I am highly offended and I will post this review everywhere I can til someone gives me a call! I ship their too much been a loyal customer for over three years to be treated this way.

Always thought this store was pricey boy was I wrong. Somethings I could find elsewhere but not with the personal service you get here. Shelves are always stocked, often have items one can’t find anywhere else. What makes this store stand out in front of the others, is their personal service! Even when you call the store the call is really answered by real person before the hundredth ring! Then they are helpful at that!! In person it’s even better, clean, no fishy smell with wonderful help

A friend had left a review for a bad experience and when he went incognito he said it wasn’t there? It shows under his google name though. I looked for him and it didn’t show for me also? I told him maybe it’s a delay thing? I told him to check later and let me know and I’ll remove my rating about it if they didn’t hide it.

Today was the 1st time at the store. Everything seemed well stocked. My problem was at the Deli. I asked for my lunch meat to be sliced thin. She even held up a slice of ham I told her it had to be thinner. Maybe she needs her hearing checked..That didn't happen I noticed when I got home. I asked for 1/4 of turkey she sliced almost 1/2 lb same with the provolone. Not only that she gave me low salt provolone?? Wth. So I should of made a trip back but that is 10 miles each way. If I go back I'll make sure I check my lunch meat before I leave the counter. Disappointed

Great selections. You gotta love those Super Double Coupon Days. My wife and I shop this store, every opportunity we have. It is always very clean, and very organized. The management team seems to have great work ethic. They seem to have some of the finest cashiers in the industry. They do an outstanding job. They are very patient. Sometimes, the coupon strategies can be quite annoying for them. Try this store, if you are ever in the Florence area.

I am in love with this store. The staff is always wonderful! There are two men who always man the carts and are the absolute sweetest. I can't tell you how much they both warm my heart, they deserve a raise! Inside the store is always clean and perfect. It's awesome to shop in this store daily and never see things out of place. The produce and meat are everything!!!!! THE BEST IN FLORENCE! I won't buy much elsewhere. This is my go to store. They have amazing sales including managers specials. The produce department is always super clean and organized and run to a T! I love the new arrangement they have! And don't forget the sushi bar!!!!! With great $5 sushi platters. The fish market in the back is a gem! You can always find a wide variety of seafood. Please come check this place out
