I went to this store around 2:00 pm today, picked up my items and went to the check out. There was a lady ahead of me who had difficulty finding her money to pay but after awhile she came up with it. The cashier was fine with her and then it was my turn. I walked up, placed my items on the counter and said hello to the cashier. She mumbled something, totalled my purchases and, rather gruffly, asked if I had 3 cents. I told her I believed so and as I was getting the change from my change purse, she reached past me and told the next person in line to step forward and she'd ring their purchases up. She was rude, rude, rude. Is this the best Family Dollar stores can do now? Is this how your managers train your employees? They are setting a very low bar to standards. I will not be back!!

I've never written a complaint in anyone. But at this store today your manager was very rude. With all that's going on in the world today it wouldn't hurt to be kind. A sign was up saying ALL curtains, blinds and rods 25% off. When I got to the register the young lady rung me up. I paid for it but then looked at my receipt for the discount. I asked the young lady about it. She called her manager. I told her manager what the problem was. She said let me call my manager. This woman walked outside to call her manager. Mind you now I'm still in the store. She comes back in and tells me without looking in my face that her manager said she can give me a refund because it states selected items. It said ALL. I can very much read and spell. I'm really upset because she walked in front of me and took the sign down before I could show her the ALL. Very rude! And I don't like it.

I went into the family dollar on West Palmetto Street in Florence SC on 06/15/2022. I purchased 2cans of flying insect spray which clearly was 2for $8.50 on the tag. After viewing my receipt it showed 2@$6.15 . I went back into the store and talked with a cashier and we walked to the back to view the tag. There were two tags side by side with different amounts for the same product. I asked after she adamantly insisted it was 6.15 what about the tag that says 2@8.50. It's 6.15. I was furious and although the nats are so bad and I needed it I don't think it was right and although I took it further by calling Corporate I will never go in there again. I should have asked for a refund. Angry customer.

Went inside to go shopping especially with 15% and had to go to bathroom. Once I came out, manager quickly locked door behind me and I didnt know what happened. I said hello and sorry if I had done anything. She didn't acknowledge me or said anything. I politely put my buggy back and left. Rude! Off to another family dollar in Florence SC

I just went into the one at 2838 W Palmeto St Florence SC 29501 to do some back to school shopping for my 3 children. I was prepared to spend At Least $200 in this store. My middle child had to use the restroom, but they said that the restroom(s) were out of order....... I'm just sitting here wondering how the employees work all day without being able to use the restroom. I know it was a lie. Needless to say, we left without spending a penny, and I will NEVER go back to this establishment! I called the store when we left to speak to a manager about this issue, but I'm pretty sure it was the same person that said the restrooms were out of order. She was even chuckling about it when I asked how they use the restroom if it's out of order, saying "well I don't have to use the bathroom". The woman could care less that my child was about to wet herself. Very rude and disrespectful.

Bought an IPhone charger got home and it wasn’t working. My son took it back the next day and was told that the manager was not there and she was the only person that could exchange the charger. Fast forward...my son went back and now they are telling him he can not exchange the charger. I’ve tried calling several times and they are not answer the phone.

I was in store today shop there alot the Manger was very rude because I had a 100 dollar bill and wouldn't service me told me to shops some where else or go to bankshescared me almost called police she's very angry don't know her name but she was African American

Horrible place to shop. Managers are always busy gossiping about other customers or entertaining their personal visitors. The staff isn’t friendly st all. The floors are always nasty. I no longer shop there.

Great place to get certain items cheaper than grocery store, and numerous other products you can't find in a grocery store. Basically a miniature Walmart in a sense but some things have better prices than Walmart especially cereal n some snacks.

Poor customer service lady acted as if she didn’t want to check the price of a item for me stating it was in the paper and when she checked it it ring up the price I told her it was going to first and last time stopping at this store and it was messy
