Five years ago I gave this Dollar General a five-star review. After tonight, I can only give it a 1-star review because that's the lowest it'll allow me. There were so many freight carts in each aisle. Some aisles were filled and were a non-accessible area. Someone needs to bring Jeff and Gregg back. The store looked 100% better when they were in charge. There were other issues that I saw with the store, but my reason for posting my review was mainly due to the blocked aisles.

store is dirty. aisles are blocked, I could not even go down the aisle I wanted because it was blocked with carts. Oh and there was cut flat boxes on the floor. Someone is going to sue you if they slip and fall. Can't go around them. This store needs more employees and new management.

Staffing was nice and store wasn't overloaded with stock to be put out. Highly suggest going there for your shopping.

Warning, be extremely careful going inside this store, they made me surrender my purse, in which I carry my medication and my money and while I was in the store clerk Jared Wyles, went through my purse and stole a large sum of money, he also searched my husband and went into his pockets prior to entering the store. He made me feel very uncomfortable and violated. Please pass this information to all of your love ones. Look for a tan chevy canyon in the parking lot with a browning symbol on the back glass.

This Dollar General Store location is so convenient for me and allows me to run in and out with ease. The employees are friendly from the time you enter the door and are accessible to help find or reach items if needed. The store is clean and well organized.

Love this location!!! Except for 1 employee, right now I’m happy with everyone there!! Unless there is a new employee, they all know me, know my needs and habits! There is 1 employee who has acted very unprofessional towards me, several times, but the matter has been addressed. No use to fuss about the product availability, all the Dollar Generals do not carry the same thing. I do get frustrated when the items are not restocked, and this goes for all the dg’s. I shop at night, so I rarely see the manager, but I know he’s quiet and works hard. As for the night time managers, adore them!!M

Dollar General is a great store with good prices but if you think it is a dollar store you are wrong. Nothing is a dollar. Things are fairly cheap but if you are a bargain shopper I am sure some items can be found in other places at a cheaper amount. And the store is always cluttered with inventory and often times what I need is not on the shelf. They need to do better with store presentation and to state more clearly their stock person needs to get better!!

Always closing earlier people are very rude and always very unhappy look on their face like they don't want to work. It disappointing cause I love dollar general and it so convenient cause it right down from the house but there always closing way before ten and people are just very unhappy.

Always very helpful staff. After complaining that they were the only place to be able to get coin wrappers, the clerk followed me out to the parking to suggest another place I might be able to find some. That is A+ customer service in my book.

I enjoy this store on West palmetto (76). They have always got their shelves stocked always clean and in order and a bigger selection of clothes, food , etc..Wait time is always faster.. I'm making these references between this one and the one on Alligator Rd.

It's fairly stocked and convienent being that there are so many in the Florence area. The 76 store has been remodeled and has much more to choose from. My only issue seems to be there are never enough people working and has a huge backup in the line at times. Good points for me is there prices and they have alot of basic items for multiple purposes. Overall it's a nice place for quick items on the go.

Dollar General.....I love you! I really do & this is by far the best one in town. The employees are very friendly & don't go hide whenever they can see that you need a little help. They will even offer to help you & will take you right up to whatever you've been trying to find. So helpful.

This store always has great customer service. It is clean and neatly stocked. The store is always stocked with items we are shopping for each time we go there. It is a place we frequent often. We will be back again and again.

Very bad customer service . I was treated badly by the sales Associate and the Manager, was told to leave the store and that they would not service me. This was told to me by the associate whole the manager stood by and watched. All because I had her taking out the item that their digital coupons did not work on even though they were on my phone and good coupons .

Dollar General has really come a long way in the products they sell. I tend to check there first for what I need before going into grocery or big box stores, and their prices are MUCH better!

The Dollar General on West Palmetto in Florence, SC is great. Always neat stocked well and the staff are great!!! Some of the other stores should be as well organized, clean, and have the service this store offers.

This Dollar General on West Palmetto has the worst customer service of any Dollar General in Florence. My mother was disrespected and asked to leave the store because of valid coupons that she wanted to use but they “supposedly” couldn’t accept them towards her purchases. I wouldnt spend my hard earned money at this specific store location ever again. Corporation will be contacted.

This is my favorite dollar General to go to. Not only at the people very nice that work there but the store is always very clean, very organized, and nothing is ever on the floor, or out of place.
