I am new to the area here so I didn’t know what to expect being a small town. I was a little nervous about them not having a big selection of things due to low population, but i was amazingly surprised when I walked in and immediately seen that not only were they a full service/inventory store….. they were far beyond any store I had ever been to. Now maybe it’s because I’m from Fl or because it is a small town they want/need to provide most all of the essentials, but I am very great full that they do!First thing I saw upon entering was a cold food section that had a small but abundant section of fresh fruits and veggies! I was just like, “WOW!!!”, I’m at a “Dollar General “ right? I was so thankful for this as it was late, I had no clue where any other stores might be and I really didn’t want frozen food.Fresh food isle is something you don’t find where I’m from.So anyway, the whole store was just well maintained, clean as a whistle, stocked & very well staffed. All the employees were very nice and eager to help me with a few things I needed.I have been there a few times now, and every time my experience seems to get better.So thank you to the employees of this DG, you all deserve a raise!

This store has barely been stocked in months. Other local stores aren’t like this. And it’s not like they haven’t gotten the stuff in, because the spots where things should be on the shelves may be completely empty, but if you look up too where the overstock is, you’ll find more products.

We love this Dollar General. They are our main lifeline when we are at the lake (Lake Hartwell). They have everything you want (frozen foods, drinks, produce, home decor, etc). They are open until 10pm, and the staff is amazing. III

Shame on dollar general and Shame on this store it is the only one in this area they upcharge because this is the only store in the area. And NEVER any stock. Right now we are forced to use you as a grocery store. You won't take our card even though YOU ARE A HUMANA partner. Ripoff store and under stocked and staff will not answer the phone.

Males bathroom always out or order. Said to another customer that one of the cash registers was not working so he didn’t walk over into the perfectly cleaned floor that was a monstrosity of a wet mess and continued to argue with him as he just stood there. Employee didn’t have the best attitude and was somewhat rude.

Lately the Dollar general has been out of stock on everything. Except the produce section that's always stocked well very fresh and good.

Customer service wasn't so great. I walked in with a cup, no trash can outside, asked the little girl at the register if she had a trash can I could dispose of it, she walks all around and then says no my trash is too full...? Really?! Then later, when checking out she was less than friendly. Definitely won't make it a point to return to this location.

The Dollar general on State Road 11 North off I 85 in South Carolina is great. The people are friendly the store is clean and the selection of food is fabulous! I just may come back this way and get a job if things do not go the way I hope.

Everyone is nice but sometimes you have to be forceful. Especially if the are busy having been a manager my whole life. It seems that the manager of the State Road 11 location allows personalities to cloud her judgement.

Use to work there. The boss is horrible and lazy. She talks about all of her employees to the other employees and customers. She posts stuff about them on her Facebook. She never puts in 40 hrs a week and makes her assistant managers do all the work she I suppose to be doing. Someone else needs to manage that place and she needs to be fired. Horrible, just horrible. The hours and pay are horrible too.

love the DG. Very convenient to home and always had a pleasant person behind the counter. Surprisingly, the prices can be competitive. Especially the sale items. Nice variety of quick emergency food items.

Love that it's so convenient. The cashier is constantly having to try and stock and run register. It's frustrating for the customers to wait on a cashier to come over. I am sure it's frustrating for the cashiers to not be able to complete tasks.

it's an alright store if you just need to run in to grab some toothpaste or toilet paper, but don't expect it to be clean or the staff to be nice.

It has great prices for your money. Has a variety of merchandise..they have really disappointed me this last 6 months..the manager at hwy 11 ..next to 85 ..She has been really rude to her customers..

I can't stand this place.--update, 5 months after the original review I actually went to this store again. It's even worse. Rude employees, cluttered aisles, cheaply made overpriced products. I still can't stand this place.

The last two years this store has gone downhill. Disorganized, dirty and not very friendly staff. After recent remodel very few items were priced.

Located near Hartwell State Park. Had all we needed for camping purposes! Great employees! Very helpful and friendly!

Be careful to lock your doors in this parking lot, it's a great place to shop but folks will get stuff out of your car.
