I had a wheel bearing go out on my boat trailer today and luckily I wasn’t far from the bait shack. Trey (the owner) actually helped me remove the old ones and replace with new ones. He wouldn’t take a dime from me and he had as much grease on him as I did 😂. I appreciate people like Trey that will help people without wanting something in return. You gained a new customer and follower today my friend!After shopping around his store and seeing all the awesome things they have, I will definitely be back to purchase all my fishing needs when going back to Santee Cooper.

excellent staff, knowledgeable with plenty of product to get you catching on the lake. Really enjoyed speaking with the owners and doing business with them. Will be stopping in again when hitting the lake for the next fishing trip, if nothing else to say hello and talk shop. Excellent stop on the way to the lake.

Loved this place . Was new fisherman to the area and they helped me out as no locals would. Very reasonable on bait best place I found. I traveled 40 min everyday to get bait and passed 6 other bait shops including the place we stayed at best prices around

Simply one of the best tackle shops I've ever set foot in, and that's saying something.The young man who was working there was quite knowledgeable and eager to help. I was there beyond closing hours inadvertently and he simply waited patiently for my son and I to finish gawking at all the magnificent stock they have. He never said a word about it. I realized my mistake when he locked up after we got in the truck. We ended up buying some rod/reels and look forward to hitting the water again.They have the BEST selection of any shop on the Santee system I've seen for hard lures, crankbaits, and soft plastics, for largemouth and plenty of bucktails for stripers. Good selection of crappie tackle as well.They have a lot of rod and reel combos and I found there prices to be competitive (and even cheaper sometimes) than Shamazon. My son bought his crappie rod there.I'd easily drive 20 minutes out of my way to stop here just to gawk.

Finally a place near santee cooper lakes with prices better than walmart and a selection of tackle and boating gear close to bass pro shops. I love this place being so close to the lakes. I would like to see them open on sunday at least from march through labor day.
