Horrible place. Their food is expired and checking out is horrible. I’m in the check out line and when I get my turn, the girl behind the cash register states, “I got to go out and talk to my uncle, who she affectionately refers to as Pookey.” Pretty gross as I watched her stand at his car window flirting with him. So anyways, I stand there for a while and then someone else that works there says, “ I can get you over here.” I go over and someone just walks right up in front of me. I stand there for 10 minutes as her insufficient funds continue to pop up. Then the girl that went to go mingle with her uncle walks back in and gets the guy behind me. Sucks that this is the only option we have in town. -10 stars if that was an option. This amazing experience took place, August 13th, 2023 at 7PM.

The store is clean , workers are great, but I’ve gotten some bad fruit and chicken , which is a great price if it didn’t have a bad smell. I go there often because I live very close by , they have a great spice selection. The only thing I would change is more Gatorade Zero on the shelf and Niagara water. That is about all I drink. I love the old town feeling I get with the shopping carts. And the milk and bread are always fresh and in a reasonable date. Elloree. Home I love.

I gave it 4 stars just because it doesn't have a large variety of different items...but other than that it is a great store with a great staff. Some of the best meats come from this store..and they buy local vegetables from farmers and really would rate this store and staff a 9 out of 10.

Omg the highest prices on stuff than all the other grocery stores I have shopped in you can tell that store is set up for food stamps without a doubt I try to stay away from the elloree I.G.A. his prices are twice as high than food lions r piggy wiggles in st. matthews just saying TOO HIGH FOR ME

They were the expensive of all the IGA that I have shopped. Their prices $3.00 for a 3lb bag if onions, the average is about a dollar less. Also their collards were $2.99 and the average is $2.00, it bother me because it was a farming town. Vegetables are very important to our daily diet but when it is highly priced the chances are people will not buy it or can't afford it. The best price was four slices of T-bone steaks was $19.68, now that was a great price.

The owner of this store is a great Christian man.Prices have went up on everything and some items are hard to even get in.If you have a problem with the IGA in Elloree instead of giving bad reviews ask to speak to Eddie the owner.We have a IGA in Williston owned by Mr. Eddie as well He cares about all his customers.People need to be thankful to have a store like Elloree and Williston

Old and dirty. They need to spend time cleaning and dusting, so they can be more inviting. Prices are higher too. I gave them another chance, since it been awhile. Don't think I'll return. They haven't changed.

A little bit high on meats don't have much turkey ot beef but lots of pork which is very bad for health lord knows I prefer turkey fish beef
