This has got to be the worst Easter of my life Arrived early at 0730 for an 0800 appointment, and ended getting THE GREATEST CLOWN SHOW OF MY LIFE! staged until 0930, unloaded 1000, at 1345 paid my lumper finally! Now it’s 1545 and still waiting for my Bols! I’m Still at the door, all morning and afternoon, I only saw two trucks leave at appropriate times! Only two! Talk about scared of getting old, these workers don’t know how to work hard! Think about it, clowns like this place will be taking care of elderly people when we are old! MIND BLOWINGAVOID THIS CLOWN SHOW OF A COMPANY AT ALL COST CANT BELIEVE MY DUMB BROKER BOOKED THIS LOAD! Finally at 1650 got my paperwork Ciao never again! Yeah if there was an option for no Star this would be the place! One star way to generous I mean one star setting the standard pretty high Food Lion of SC! CLOWN SHOW

Well I can say that my experience coming here was great so I will happily give these guys and gals 5 stars for an amazing job. I checked in at 6:00am with a load of berries and was out by 8am. Everyone from the guard at the gate to the young ladys at the receiving office were very polite and professional. Also I might add that the unloading fee was very fair, thanks again to everyone at food lion DC. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️"GOD IS AWESOME"...

I read the horror stories about this place and maybe I just got lucky! Security check in did take a little longer than most but wasn't bad. I arrived 45 minutes early for a 6 pm appointment was assigned a door, backed in and checked in at capstone for unloading. I was pulling out security at 7:45 which I didn't think was bad at all! everyone I dealt with was friendly and helpful. I didn't give five stars because it is a little challenging backing in with fire hydrants about 60-70 feet apart all down the loading docks! Some drivers were having trouble with them. I've been to other Food Lion DC's and experienced these there too but they weren't as close to the docks. I just marvel at how so many places seem to put unnecessary obstacles in the way to challenge a drivers skills!

They literally have you blocking the streets, had a 9am appointment & got there 10mins before sat on the street for over a hour, somebody should lose their job over this ok maybe a serious write up. At this point you should have a place for drivers to park and walk up with paperwork like most other food lion’s do. Get with another food lion and implement what they do ASAP!!!

I read the reviews before going and was prepared to be there at least 5 hours but it ended up being 3 and but I was an hour early. Everyone I talked to was nice. The way they unload is weird. It's like they take a pallet from one truck and then one from the next truck and do on and so on instead of unloading 1 whole truck at a time. There is a lumper fee but it's different for everyone. Only 3 stars because there is room for improvement.

All of the reviews on wait time is true. Appointment at 0900 arrived at 0800. Paperwork took as long as unloading wait time. Departure 1530. The heavy set lady with the wig and bump on her eye hates her job. Try your best to ignore her attitude when you go to the paperwork side of the receiver window.

I arrive. at 10 AM for 11 AM appointment. Gotta door about 12:30 left about 3:30. They have porta-potties. Can't tell about lumber's mind was prepaidslide your tandems Open your doors, disconnect your red airline chock wheel. Put down your landing gear. People were friendly to me. Had no overnight parking.

I said I wasn’t going to leave a review on here today BUT since I’ve been sitting here for 6hours I may as well!! Nothing new. I come here and just about get a fresh clock every time. If hurry up and wait was a business, it would be this Food Lion DC! Do yourself a favor, DON’T! My 12 year old could count product faster than these guys. But, lumper is Capstone so it’s expected. 2 stars for the guard.

I have read everything, all the reviews. I arrived with the hope that everything would go well and in order. I arrived 15 minutes before my appointment time, which was 8 am. The receiving woman is a disgusting person, not because of how inept she is but because of the horrible attitude she has. After they gave me the door, they sent me the message from Capstone to make the lumper payment, and I realized that they only unloaded two pallets that belonged to a single PO but brought two different POs. In my luck, she misplaced the other order. Then she so blatantly told me that it was my fault when she was the one who didn't note that I had two different orders. That was around 11 am. Still, at 2 pm, I'm waiting for them to unload the rest of the load. Apparently, I'll be here all day, hopefully not all night, too. This place is horrible.

Like so many posts, I've been in door for 8 hrs.Paid lumper 2 hrs ago. Have green light, they removed lock off air line.No call for bills.I've been in business 17 years and been to grocery warehouses that take all day. This is one of the worst.Don't think this will make any difference but just gotta say...this is not necessary...

Avoid this place at all cost very unorganized 8hrs minimum waiting time here. They told you to go to a door 3 hrs later tell you again to switch over to a different door finally the 3rd time to a door started unloading. After unloading to get ur bills that another story 4hrs wait to get bol after unloading. ITS JUST UNBELIEVABLE

Avoid as much as you can to come here, they won’t check you in early but you’ll be seating in your truck for hrs waiting for the clerk call after you’ve paid the lumper.

Update for this Place. There is a $250 Fine if the Driver doesn’t have a Safety Vest on while on the Yard. No public Restrooms far as I can tell( I didn’t Ask I have one in my truck). No Overnight Parking on Property or Stage Parking if you come more then 1hr before Appointment. That said ,you can only arrive 1hr before Appointment. If you come earlier they will make you leave the property and wait 0ff site until your appointment time.Truck stop next door (0.1mile from Food Lion)Charge $10 for parking. Even if you have to Stage a wait for your appointment. Took 4 hr to unload me ( I have a Dry Van 53F trailer )

Don’t every come here the place is a Big mess from the people at the gate to the people in the warehouse they don’t communicate at all then when you ask the Rude Girl at the window about a ETA she doesn’t know what that is . This crazy I have been here since 7:45 am and still haven’t left yet!! This crazy Girl at the Window said I Brought to much stuff to the warehouse. I’m like DUH Food lion order it . It doesn’t take 7 hours to unload no trailer. This is a shame. They need some better workers in their Just foolishness !!! The management is very poor here !

Worst place ever. Checked in at 730a for an 8a appt. Got assigned a door at 930. Didn't get unloaded until after 4pm. Ask to speak to a supervisor or manager several times. All i was told was I'll get them. Waited 30 min. No one ever showed up.

Terrible facility for drivers! Checked in 40 mins early and waited 2 hrs for a dock and 3 hrs to unload. Now their system is down and they won't give me my bills. Ridiculous! 4 ("NASTY") Porta potties that are filthy, stinky, and need pumped out bad. Nowhere to wash your hands. This place should be shut down!

Worst place to deliver to.Took them the whole day to unload the truck, and then they said they can't sign the bills cause they have to count the product!!!Maaaan! That product was on the road less time than in your stinky warehouse!When asking why it is taking them so long, they start laughing at your and tell you to go back to your truck and be quiet, otherwise they will not get you out of there until next shift comes in.What a joke!Get your sh1t together and start respecting someone else's time if you don't respect yours!Never again!

Check in process at this location is fairly slow. Had about 20 trucks blocking the road to get in, once you get to the gate you check in your give a door or you park on the side and they call you with the door. These guys are very strict with appointments, but they did take a very long time to unload me…6 PM appointment time. I did not leave until 2 o’clock in the morning hence the one star.There is no overnight parking here. Once you’re unloaded they will ask you to leave.

As a trucker this place will have you missing your next pick up or drop off. The staff doesn't care or respect your time your clock and will have you waiting to be loaded or unloaded. This place is poorly ran and from a person of color to see my people work and operate with such carelessness and laziness is a disgrace. Sad upper management needs to see how the employees here run this business very unprofessionally. Beware

Appt at 8, arrived 7:45, got door almost immediately. Took them 4 hours to unload half of the trailer. They have lumper. No overnight parking. You should have a safety vest on while on yard. Eco restrooms outside.

All those one star reviews you see on Google? Yep, they're true and here is another one. Had a 9am appointment. Got in line to check in. Just as I was about to turn into the gate the guard tells everyone still on the road to LEAVE! That's right. Leave, come back in 30 minutes! So guess what? You guessed it? The 10 or so trucks that left lost their place in line and got cut in front of by a dozen or so other trucks who showed up after.

I recently visited Food Lion and was deeply disappointed by the service and overall experience. The wait times were excessively long, which was incredibly frustrating. It seemed there was a lack of staff, and those who were present appeared overwhelmed and unable to manage the customer flow efficiently.Furthermore, the customer service was far from satisfactory. The staff seemed disinterested and unhelpful, contributing to a rather unwelcoming atmosphere. It was clear that customer satisfaction was not a priority, which is unacceptable for any distribution facility.Overall, my experience at Food Lion was disheartening. I hope the management takes note of these issues and works towards improving their customer service and reducing wait times. Until then, I am hesitant to return or recommend this store to others.

Took them 3hrs to remove 4 pallets from trl, lady in the receiving office have an attitude problem. Guard was okay & not sure why they have those red irons in the middle of the driveway making it a bit harder for trucker to get on dock. Don’t think I’ll be going back there again. Took them 3hrs to refuse 1 of 5 pallets.

No on-site parking, but they take forever to unload you. No bathrooms. And they charge the lumper fee prior to starting unload. Pack a lunch, because you're gonna be here a while but not long enough to get a reset in.

Usually out in decent time for distribution center. Was out in less than 2 hrs this trip.Get there about 4:30 for a 5PM delivery or you will be at the back of a long line. If you come too much earlier they might send you away and tell you to come back.The train is very active. While in line DO NOT park under the arm.

First of all I'm going to say the guard shack was amazing friendly checked in at 4:30 appointment was at 5:00 it's 9:43 p.m. and I am still here final check out 12:43am this is why they get two stars because of the guards in the guard shack or friendly and make checking really easy

No overnight parking. Appt 11:00 am. Checked in 9:30 am. Assigned dock at 12:30 completed unload at 13:50. .it's now 15:00 still waiting for info to pay lumper. Surely capstone, are u experts in Logistics or u employ don't care employees. Who is the manager. You don't have to repack while driver waits. Inspect product, good! Yes. Sign bills. Release driver. It is not that complicated. Else ask drivers to help you brakedown the product for free. Had to cancel my next pick at 16:00. Why schedule an appt if u hold driver for 5 plus hours. Double standard as if i got here 30 minutes late reschedule. You know. Treat drivers like humans! Avoid this place.

ABSOLUTELY A WASTE OF MY TIME! I arrived on time for my 5 pm appt and I was immediately assigned a dock door. As I sat and waited patiently for 5 hours to be unloaded, I napped and counting my DETENTION MONEY. This is an abomination! But, I have no one to blame but myself for skipping the review section when booking this load. A lot of the reviews were limited information, but I understand NOW that a 1 STAR means stay away from that shipper. However, there is plenty of space to maneuver for a NEW/OLD JACKS!
