This is honestly one of my favourite dollar generals to go to. The staff like Linda are so LOVELY! Especially during this time they are always trying to help. A particular staff member has stood out to me the most and that is Chris. He is SO helpful and always manages to help me find what I’m looking for or let’s me know when they should next have the item in. He interacts with every customer like they are his long time friend and it’s just really nice to see.

I shop here atleast 3-4 times a week! It's the best place to shop for things like cereal, any kind of boxed foods, like hamburger helpers or tacos, etc. I get just about everything I need from here except my meats. Which of course they dont sell major meats, or meats in bulk. But, If they did, I'd buy it from here too! I HIGHLY RECOMMEND ANYONE TO CHECK OUT A DOLLAR GENERAL STORE IN YOUR AREA ASAP! I'm pretty confident you'll love it!!!!

Come here at least 2 times a month for household items or few groceries. Some things are cheaper than Walmart some are more expensive like case of mtn dew ordog food. Usually busy here. Not bad for a dollar general. I have called ahead for an item and they checked if they had it and when they did they were nice enough to hold it for me til got there. Nice workers.

No one and I mean no one has masks on. Not only almost every customer but not One, thats right Not One employee had a mask on. I was told it wasn't a law yet. Well what about common sense or respect for someone else's life. I was just disgusting by it. When I asked I was told and I quote if you don't like it leave. Yes an employee told me that. Absolutely insane.

Love the convenience of having the store so close to home but the store needs to be cleaned and clear of an OVERABUNDANCE of stock blocking almost every aisle. I mean carts at the end of almost every aisle.

Always get customer friendly service and it's where you I go when I'm not wanting to go to Wal-Mart. Overall the prices are great and you can normally find what you are looking for

The staff at this location (Ms Linda!) Are fantastic. Greeting regular customers like friends. Effingham has the best DG. 👍

Its just the same as every other one. Understaffed with boxes that need to be stocked because half their shelves are empty. Just like all the other ones.
