Have to have a key as a guest to use cabana restrooms now. This was what attracted lots of people. Not saying that you can't come up with a system that Will allow those who use this area to still make you money Wyndham but, you sure ruint it for majority of beach goers who could have been beneficial to you in future.

Hidden away on Edisto Island, a beautiful property, seemingly well kept. The luxurious condos have amenities such as: windows that won't lock, or are screwed to where you can't open them all the way, furniture that is bolted in place, and buildings that sway in the night breeze.The onsite golf course is beautiful, and the stray golf balls have added so much value to my vehicle.With the daily calls from Wyndham representatives that can't take no for an answer explaining that we don't understand the options they offer, I don't think we could enjoy any more of a "quiet" or "relaxing" retreat away from the hustle and bustle.Thank you Wyndham for your unparalleled service and dedication to your guests and share holders.P.S. I really love the uneven building structure, it feels so art deco.Update: Those stray balls do wonders! The staff was however very responsive. Thank you Richard for going above and beyond in helping us clean up this mess.

It's a good place. Clean rooms. Deer are everywhere and the kid loves it. Only thing for us is my wife is partially handicap and the website didn't say units have stairs. We are on the upper unit so four flights of stairs. It's really hard on her.

Very small seashore. Very steep and the waves break really hard near the shoreline. At one time in my life when I had sciatic nerve problems. I stood there and let the waves hit me in the back where it hurt and after about 20 minutes it never hurt again. They like me on Google

While we were here in the off season this is a great benefit for Wyndham owners. Clean stocked bathrooms, rinse off showers and a place to get out of the sun is really nice. Thanks Wyndham!

As usual they tried to make us go to a presentation for the following day...this is OUR VACATION PEOPLE!We don't want to go to any meetings and we definitely don't want to invest any more money in this scam resort 🤨

Not as nice as the other Wyndhams that we have stayed in. It is our least favorite. Master shower is tiny. No outside hose to rinse off. Room wasn't ready when we arrived and you could tell that it was a rush cleaning job. Cheetos on the floor from the previous people, Master bedroom not vacuumed and no bedding for the pullout couch.

We love Edisto! There’s so much misinformation on some of these reviews.First of all, the cabana is open to owners who buy the package or you can get Day passes at the Wyndham store. That’s also where you rent chairs and umbrellas too. Nope, can’t get them when it’s cold out. They close like many places in the winter. Yes you have to pay to rent chairs and umbrellas, just like any beach that I’ve ever been too. The beach is dirty? Well, that’s because people liter. It is cleaned by the citizens a few times a year, maybe you should join in if you think it’s dirty. The only time I’ve seen trash around is when tourists who are rude and uncaring liter. There is lots of history here. Check it out, the museum, ask locals. It’s an amazing place! Also, I read where there are too many bugs...it’s a semi tropical location. Don’t want mosquitoes, you may want to go to Antarctica.

Clean tables, grilling area. Covered area. Place for bikes. Chairs and umbrellas available. Bathrooms. Handicapped access to beach and building. Outside Showers . Not bad at all. A volleyball net play games. They even have hose to cool sand down most important. Parking close by parking along the highway a umbrellas or there this request it. The beach itself is lovely. Lots of misinformation given to us from the front desk people at check-in.We were told that the Cabana had free chairs and umbrellas for owners to use - be prepared to pay $15 each to rent for the day.We were also told by the front desk that there is a full snack bar in the cabana. Got there and it's now closed as the city revoked whatever permit they had. So we arrived with no umbrellas and no breakfast/lunch because we expected to get it there.Ice water is free for members :|

The units are a bit aged, but a strong effort is being made to systematically update the entire resort, which is hard to do with a beach resort. Don't come here expecting opulent accommodations, but you get a wonderful quiet beach vacation. I really like Edisto Beach for the reasons why some do not - it is quiet and very low-key.

Very nice and quiet resort and deer are everywhere. The only reason I give this a 3 and not a 5 start rating is because of the outrageous amount of bugs especially mosquitos and wasps. Please take this into consideration before visiting. I think that the off season would be ideal.

this was a nice surprise. Member card access to clean restrooms, umbrellas for rent, and refreshments to purchase. Employees were friendly and helpful answering my questions about the island. We went every day on Island to Wyndham beach access

My sisters and I went to lunch there after spending the day at the beach. Had a fantastic lunch and we drink a Long Island Iced Tea that was out of this world! So we decided to go to dinner there the next night the food is fabulous and our waitress was wonderful both times we went. Of course we had the Long Island Iced Tea again.

This is a private aeea for Wyndham owners and guests. It is a Nice ammenity. Clean and kept up well. Place to rinse you feet and shoes. Helpful when traveling with kids. It is between beach access 20 and 21.

What's not to like. It's the beach. The cabana has restrooms and a shower. The beach is generally less crowded then the beaches of charleston. Parking can be an issue. Due to sea turtle preservation efforts, coming in the summer gives you a good chance of seeing turtle nests.

Bugs everywhere , sloppy drawers with food still in them, handrail that is falling of it's hinges, and did not receive promised room. We were promised a grill, elevator, and a beach side view but didn't get would NOT recommend.

I got stung by a swarm of jelly fish. My dad ran down to the cabana to get their first aid kit but again nobody was there! I wasn't surprised as nobody had been there as far as I've known. I've only been here for a few days but if you're going to be (open) and try to sell merchandise, or give first aid, then you should be at your station. They over charge for the few items they do have.. Also be very careful around jelly fish. I had several wrapped around me and the pain from that had me face first in the sand screaming out in pain. I have a high pain tolerance but they are no joke. BE CAREFUL!

Just amazing and very romantic, if you're wanting to have a romantic weekend getaway this is the place Edisto Island, SC. Customer service is Seco d as is the condos and villas.

I stayed at Egrets Pointe in Ocean Ridge. It was a spacious 2 level condo set on a huge lagoon with an alligator (about 5 ft), turtles, and an island w nesting egrets. EDISTO is a very low key, nature filled area. Known as the A.C.E. Basin where 3 rivers empty into St Helena sound. It's my favorite beach on east coast due to my love of nature and the slowed down lifestyle of the island. Fall, spring, winter are also my favorites because summers hot, humid and get more crowded.The rates are better and temperature much more pleasant.Egrets Pointe also has snowbird rates if you want to stay for month, 2, 3 etc to enjoy a beautiful area in winter.

I love Edisto and enjoy staying in Ocean Ridge Resort but dont stay w Wyndham. I love Egrets Pointe because its cleaner, much easier check in and located on the most beautiful lagoon in Ocean Ridge Resort right on Sea Cloud Circle

Rooms and service here are excellent, and the views are fantastic. Edisto is charming: we visit regularly, and really enjoy our stays.
