Played here on a cool Friday afternoon and basically had the course to ourselves. What a great layout with stunning views of the ocean and beautiful water features. Course was in great shape and definitely has a good amount of scoring opportunities.Make sure you account for the wind, which can change drastically from one hole to the next. Several times it wasn’t a factor for a couple holes and then I would suddenly hit into a two-club wind on one of the less protected holes. And this is a good course to walk; it’s flat and has short transitions.Even though it’s shorter and a par 70 with no driving range (just a couple nets), this is a course you must play if in the area. It’s worth the drive from Charleston.

I've played this course a handful of times and I have thoroughly enjoyed it! It's a wonderful resort vacation course. Probably one of the shortest courses in the entire area. Conditions have been good every time I've played here so kudos to the groundskeepers it's not like there's another course on the island. have to go at least to stono ferry or some of the private courses close by if you have the fortune to do so. for under 100 bucks. it's a great round of golf. if you're in the area I would highly recommend it. perhaps hit it on off season when it gets a little more reasonable.

Great golf course, it’s in really good shape. The greens put well. The staff is very friendly. The only thing it really lacks is a true driving range, they do have a hitting net but other than that great experience great golf course.

I absolutely love this course! Some of the cleanest greens & tee boxes. The views are great! I live an hour away and will drive here on any given day because it's so nice!

A beautiful botanical garden in Edisto island. The green marshes extended for acres with pelicans and seagulls flying overhead. It felt great to be an untouched natural beauty like this place.

This was my first time playing here, and I will most definitely be back in the future. The experience was great, and the course was in excellent condition, and I loved the layout. This is by far the nicest atmosphere of people at a golf course I have ever experienced. Everyone was super nice from the staff to the players. Awesome.

It was a super well-maintained course. You can make it hard or manageable, choose your poison with your club. Definitely pay attention to the yardage guides. Fees are very steep, $90+ but you do get a great golf experience.

Course is in excellent condition. Fairways are second to none and greens were rolling great. First time playing here and pleasantly surprised and can't wait to go back! 4 hour round was also nice added bonus for a Sunday.

Course its self was in great shape. The hurricane came through a few days before so we played on a Friday and was told we could play the front 9 twice... they then overbooked and told us 9 holes only (for 53$ which is insane). We had a teetime booked for Sunday so we tried again.. back 9 still closed so we called ahead and was told again, we could play the front 9 twice. Get to the course and once again, we couldn't... They told us they wouldnt book us a second tee time ahead of time because they wanted more people to call in and play since only 9 was open....

Played yesterday and the greens had been aerated last week. We were told rates would be discounted but when we showed up we were told the greens were perfect. So we paid $97 and the greens were terrible! Also, the tee box’s on all par three’s were closed and moved to the fairway. It was disappointing. At the end of the round I spoke with pro shop attendant and they offered nothing!

First time playing here, had my son and 4yr old grandson, the greens had just been punched, but still the course was in fantastic shape, very nice pro shop as well. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful, highly recommend!!

We hadn’t been at Edisto for 8-10 years; course has been renovated/improved. Greens very consistent & great shape/speed, fairways very nice shape. Course is great for the senior golfer; hit it straight & you can score. Lots of water on almost every hole. Never bored with the layout. Pace of play good in March. Starter & cart attendant & Proshop staff great; love the place.

Hidden gem. Hadn’t played this course in 15 yrs, and Wow, what an improvement! Beautiful, lush fairways that had very nice rolls. Absolute perfect greens that held and great tee boxes. I live in mid TN that is known for some great courses, but this one is better than all of them. Plus new, comfortable carts with yardage displays. Can get quite windy and a little pricey, but well worth. Will be back!

The Plantation course hosted the VGA (Veterans Golf Association) tournament and the staff was awesome. Course was in great condition. Only complaint was the wind... maybe they could fix that before my next time I come out and play. I can't say enough about condition of the greens. Some of the best I've seen in the lowcountry. I tip my hat to the superintendent/groundskeepers.

Great little course on Edisto, not long but still challenging with tons of water and danger on every hole. Leave your driver in the bag most holes and play for accuracy since that will pay off more here. The staff couldn’t be nicer and it’s a great course to walk and get some steps in for the day! We played 5 out of 7 days on the island and it never got old.

The staff was very friendly and accommodating. When were were unpacking our carts at the car, two people came out to ask us how things went and ask if we needed help with anything. Friendliest staff in the Greater Charleston area. The course was in excellent shape and very entertaining. The golf carts were equipped with coolers and ice. Kudos all around for a job well done. We will be back.

Played this course earlier in the week with my father in law. Course is in great shape. Not very long, but there is trouble all over this course. Greens were rolling great and were in good shape. A little on the costly side ($65.00) with cart, but than next closest course is over 40 miles away. Will play again next time I am at Edisto.

Overall, a very nice course. Relatively short, and somewhat narrow at points. Greens were reasonably quick and true, but could use rolling. No driving range but there are some nets available to hit into. Plenty of hazards and other obstacles to make the game interesting.

This course is a hidden gem! Defintely worth the drive if you live in the Charleston area! Super friendly staff. The greens are top notch superb... like carpet! A faders course yet fun and challenging! Will definitely be back Edisto!

The course is in great shape. Wayne the golf Marshall pretty good dude. Very reasonable prices. We went on a Tuesday and there was absolutely no wait. Seems like Friday and Saturday are the busier days. The front nine seemed harder than the back nine.

Very well maintained, wonderful view, quite challenging due to tightness and hazards, so you can't just swing away... gotta play strategic so it's a fun course to play and watch out for the alligators if you roll up to some of the water holes and small ponds! Without a doubt I will play there again! Wish the driving range outside of town was managed better, the balls were mostly unable to be used cause they were totally split in half or cracked badly, dry rotted, not a single good ball to hit out of the 70 balls in a large bucket. No staff on sight, lights are up but no one to turn them on. Don't waste your time!
