Absolutely amazing food- their ribs are SO GOOD!!! The brisket was also so tender and their sides were so delicious. The drinks were also some of the best I’ve ever had.But the best part of the night was the service- our waitress was SUPER nice! I wanted a sweet cocktail and she hooked me right up with the bartender and made a delicious drink! 10/10 recommend for some delicious bbq + amazing service that will make your night incredible!ps the pic i took does NOT do the food justice- it is absolutely delicious & i completely forgot to take better pics!!

Great bbq in a variety of styles. Brisket was tender and juicy and my favorite of the three meats I tried. Ribs had a slightly sweet coating but not over the top. No need for sauce! Tender as well. Pulled pork was eastern North Carolina style with a spicy vinegar flavor. You’ll hate it if you don’t like that style. (Would help if the menu were more descriptive). Wife loved the lobster roll, compared it favorably to Maine’s!Didn’t try the wings but they looked great!No liquor license yet but they sell beer. If you get lost it’s in the same building as Ella & Olly but without a sign. Beside the clubhouse.Nice alternative to every other restaurant on the island that sells fried shrimp!

What a great place! The food was delicious and FRESH. Nothing frozen and seasoned perfectly. Cocktails were very reasonable in price and made well.. Staff was super friendly. We will be back!

We got the catfish sandwich, a burger without a bun, kids grilled cheese, and brisket sandwich. The room to eat was small, but it had a nice atmosphere and it wasn't too busy, so the spacing made it seem not too crowded. The waitress came and took our order and then we never saw her again until the check, which was maybe 30-45 ish minutes later. The brisket sandwich was delicious, the catfish was good, but thin, so there wasn't much fish to eat. The ribs were fall off the bone and the hamburger was well done like asked. My daughter ate the entire grilled cheese and loved it. The potato salad was a little spicy for my taste but it was all right. The French fries were yummy.

I was a little bit skeptical about this place because there wasn't a full picture of the menu but I'd heard great things from the resort staff here at Wyndham, obviously a barbecue kind of style menu brisket, wings, and ribs. My dad got the wings I got the ribs and brisket it was really great the fries were excellent seasoning, mac and cheese wasn't that great but I think it was cuz it's a little cold but I still ate it it was good. Incredibly friendly staff and great bar alcohol options. Great views of the inlet would have been a great view of the sunset the clouds didn't cover the day I went.Parking: Parking on site it is limited but you can park along the street possiblyKid-friendliness: They had a shuffleboard game inside the restaurant took up a lot of seating options but still fun to look atWheelchair accessibility: The property is obviously not wheelchair accessible that I could see, it is with two staircase entrance and exits, probably because the approximate to the ocean and water

Fantastic little spot. Extremely friendly service and excellent local fare. Great BBQ and seafood options including oysters on the half shell. The special when we went was a cold smoked salmon BLT. Delicious. Their banana pudding was also FANTASTIC.

Shut the front door!Honestly one of the top BBQ places I’ve eaten at. Brisket was pretty good, but the sides were off the chain! I’d come back just for greens! The Brussels sprouts were an unexpected surprise. With hot sorghum and bacon (of course) they will be stuck in my soul for a long, long time.Im going to return later this week, just to try the ribs.

THE ICE IS THE CRUNCHIEST 🙌🏻🙌🏻the service was absolutely perfect our server was the sweetest kindest soul on this planet. not to mention the decor was so pretty and whoever had aux KNEWWW what was upand do NOT skimp on the dessert its the bomb dot com.the servings are also huge??? so much bang for your buck.this place is lit u must check it out 💯💯

Second night on Edisto Island Beach we had dinner at Briny Swine. Our bartendtor/server Johnny was super impressable young man.Briny Swine is one of best BBQ restaurant hands down that we visted in pass six months.I would say if you chose to eat at this place I recommend coming early for dinner. We arrived around 730pm, theres serval opened tables but we chose to have a seat at the bar.We ordered the rib dinner and BBQ Tochos. OMG those Tochos were amazing. They closed at 9pm.We highly recommend this place for dinner. Supporting local eatery's and you will never be disappointed.

Brisket Melt was so good it made me grin! So yummy that I forgot to take a picture. Got their Sunday special as well with pork rice, beans, slaw, bread, pulled pork. So great!& for those visitors like me, yes … there is no street sign to ensure you’ve arrived to the right place; it’s on the 2nd floor.

A wee bit difficult to find. We did not see a sign. It is upstairs over what I believe is a bait shop. My husband had the oysters & chicken wings. I forget what topping he had on the oysters but he thoroughly then. Also he said the wings had a fantastic dry rub. I had a brisket plate. The brisket was tender & very flavorful. 3 types of BBQ sauce were available. We would definitely go again.

Phenomenal find while driving through Edisto! This place had a good beer selection and great service from our bartender Johnny who offered up excellent food recommendations. We would highly recommend - bbq roasted oysters, ahi tuna oysters, tuna tostada, peel and eat shrimp and the brisket sandwich (yes, we ended up ordering about half the menu 😳). We will definitely be back again when visiting Edisto!*pictures of the bbq oysters and peel and eat shrimp

We came for dinner. I had read some good reviews on this place so we gave it a try. My brisket sandwich came cut in half. One half had maybe a quarter size piece of meat on it the other half had a piece of fat on it and little bigger hard piece of meat on it! I would have ordered something else if they were out. My husband got a pile of pulled pork that looked delicious. Waitress was very good. Probably not come back!

BBQ is waaaayyyy too spicy for enjoyment...I dont know if the cook messed up and the red pepper flake container broke or what but we couldn't finish it. The smoked wings are very juicy but over seasoned you have to knock seasoning off so you can eat them. Ribs were good. Mac N cheese noodles wasn't done completely like they cooked too many at one time. All the sauces were garbage. Idk maybe its because we are use to NC BBQ.. The atmosphere is nice tho, right in the waterway good views, has a bar if you don't and lots of tvs.

Five stars is not enough. EXCEPTIONAL EVERYTHING. Ribs were the best I've ever had. Collard Greens cooked with bacon and Mac And Cheese were fire. And the desserts, man so good. Coconut cake very moist and the best icing. But the Banana Pudding OMG. Caramel swirls. So good.Resturant is very cute. Service was excellent. Owner gave us recommendations on resturants in Charleston and Savannah. We will be checking those out, because this guy knows food.

We just arrived arrived after a 600 mile drive from MD. This was our first stop for dinner. I had the two meat platter, and let me to you, the ribs, brisket, collard greens, and mac-n-cheese for to die for. The flavor was point on for everything. It was so good, I called the next day, and asked if they sold greens to go. They sell them by the quart, I can't wait to bring some back to home to share with our neighbors. The staff was extremely friendly and checked on us often. We love your place!Mike & Deb.

Had the smoked brisket with fries and collard greens. Brisket was tender and very tasty. The sauce was unique, not hot but spicy flavor. I don't like sauces that are so hot they hid the flavor of the meat and this one did not do that. It enhanced the meat's favor. Collard Greens can sometimes be a risk, but these are some of the best I've ever had.

expectations were high, almost 5 stars and great reviews. came in and got a seat instantly, so that’s a plus. Service was amazing and our server gave us our drinks quickly and was very nice. got our food and was quite disappointed. Food tasted reheated, got the 3 meat plate and not a bit of it tasted smoked, almost like it was put in a low heat oven rather than a smoker. Brisket very dry and was almost hard. The mac and cheese also looked reheated, or at least the preparation method makes it dry. Collard greens were super good though. Wings were burnt and overall I wasn’t impressed. The other thing we noticed was that the inside nor outside smelled of smoke or gave any hints of smokers being used for preparation

For someone with celiac BBQ and Seafood is normally a safe option. This place did offer GF choices, but only 1 fryer unsafe/contaminated. So wings are a no go. I asked about a palmetto Hawaiian sandwich without bread, I was told it's kinda like a grilled cheese so not an option. Sides were limited. Despite limitation because of the GF options that appealed to me what I did have was good. I ended up with the 2 meat platter. Ribs and brisket with potato salad.Dietary restrictions: Celiac

Simply put, we were disappointed. For 4.5 stars, you expect a more uniform experience. We specifically told them we do not like large oysters, and prefer much smaller oysters. It seemed as if the server did not realize what large or small meant. Also, they were not great tasting. The mac & cheese was under seasoned, the collard greens were over vinegared. The ribs were just OK.ALSO: the peel and eat shrimp were disgusting. I grew up on the Chesapeake Bay, and have eaten shrimp hundreds of different places. I’ve never had shrimp like these before, it was almost as if they were NEARLY done cooking, and then brought back down to almost freezing temps. The consistency and texture were jarring.That’s about it. I do not recommend this restaurant, although I will be tracking down the brewery of the beer I had. It was delicious.

What a “hidden gem”!!! After having too many “meh” meals on-island, finally took a shot at this one just now for lunch and had to run to give a review lol. Had the shrimp po’ boy for lunch special - lightly* bread and non-greasy (miracles!) and the shrimp was cooked perfectly, add to that a flavorful remoulade, big slices of ripe tomato and the tang of pickled red onions = perfect. Literally the best shrimp po’boy I’ve ever had, easily. Also, thankkkkk youuuu Briny Swine for the first*** flavorful mac n cheese I’ve had since moving to the south - isn’t dry, obviously made with “the good cheese” and has a little something special to its seasoning. Coming back for many more meals here….you should too!

My family and I ate here this last weekend, and it was a great experience! The staff was amazing, and the food was really great. I had the tuna wasabi oysters and they were probably the best I’ve ever tried. My wife had the pulled pork sandwich and was really impressed with its flavor. 100% recommend.

Best meal and service in the area so far. We got a late start getting to dinner and all places either stopped taking people or the wait was super long. We were able to walk right in and get a table. Heather was our waitress and she was great and took great care of us even though we came in close to closing time. Brussel sprouts were amazing with a kick of heat to it. Pimento cheese and pork rinds appetizer was devoured. Our kids loved the burgers so much that they wanted to order another one to go but it was late and we didn't want to do that to the kitchen. Per my husband, if your wife is a little stressed or grouchy, get her the Froze' drink. 1 drink will make her happy. 2 will make everyone's night happy. Woo!, what a drink!!! Highly recommend this place.
