Always love going to Bunkys. The food is great and you can find pretty much everything you’d need.The meat market is awesome with seasonal selections and you never know what you’ll find upstairs.This place is an icon!

I've been wanting to stop by here for awhile and I'm so glad I finally did. Mr Bunkys, literally, has a little bit of everything. The entire upstairs is a consignment shop with all sorts of items for sale. Downstairs has everything from automotive supplies to dog items. There's a gift shop and even a full restaurant. The restaurant has a great menu to choose from. I ordered the pulled pork sandwich which I highly recommend! Mr. Bunkys is definitely worth the visit!

It was one of the best shopping experiences I've ever had with family. We'll definitely go back with more family members. They have an old fashioned meat counter, BBQ hash in the freezer, full buffet including fried chicken, pork chops and veggies. They also have a thrift shop upstairs with some awesome things.

Such a neat place. Reminds me of the old stores we had when I a boy. You can buy a little of everything and there is a great Cafe in the back.

We enjoyed Sunday dinner at noon. Pork chops from their own meat market & sweet potato raisin souffle. Choose from their hotbar or menu. The dining area was packed with reservists from McEntire nearby. 18+ miles from the State House. Tasty, tasty!

Mr. Bunky's is truly a gem. Friendly service with a smile 😃. If you get a chance to order food...it's great! Home cooked like meals! Take advantage of the second level upstairs. If you're looking for a bargain, it's there!

Stopped by to get lunch everytime I'm in the area. First thing when one walks into Bunkys is the manure or something close or vicinity of manure+ dead rat smells.Heck...They have a restaurant inside (to the left after entered). The restaurant style is either order from the precooked items or order fresh cook menu meal from the kitchen. Then sit, eat, leave the plates for table surver to clean up and pay at the exit. Inside the building consists of hardware store, restaurant, seeds, fertilizers, butcher shop, groceries, beer and wine coolers, and antique shop on the second floor.On the entrance is the "A" sign for quality of food. Good experience to be earned here.

First time here and I'd say it was overall a pleasant experience. I will say that if you don't know how it's laid out, it can be confusing where things are and what is available. The people were friendly for the most part.

Family atmosphere and quality customer service... Consignments upstairs for browsing before or after an awesome meal from the kitchen. Oh, and dont forget to stop by the meat market on the way out for excellent quality cut meat choices for your next cookout or family outings. 😃😃

I haven't been to Mr. Bunky's in about 5-6 years. However, I stopped in there Oct. 13th (I believe) 2023 to get my daughter some lunch after her doctors appointment in Columbia and was very surprised with the prices in the restaurant area. I do not like going to fast food places like McDonald's or Burger King. I like for my children to eat healthier foods. Mr. Bunky's had many choices like fried or baked chicken, meatloaf, or cubed steak and gravy. Multiple choices of beans, Mac and cheese, mashed potatoes, cabbage, collards, rolls or corn bread (your basic southern selections). A child's plate is 5.99 and I believe an adult plate is 10.99-11.99 (drink included). Definitely worth the price and a much better option than fast food at the same speed. Definitely will be returning when I'm in the area.

I've had the hot bar twice and got fried chicken, collards, okra, and cornbread. It's really good, especially the chicken. They have lots of other items on the menu to check out. Popular lunch spot for the military crowd on week days, too.

Great food and atmosphere. Very kind staff and patrons. Every time I go here to eat, I always wind up striking up a conversation with other patrons. It is a meeting place for a lot of people in the community.

An amazing dining experience. We really enjoyed the food, the service, and the ambiance of this location we had the hot platter and it was very good, cooked to perfection. I thought the price was extremely fair for all that you received. I highly recommend a visit to this iconic place.

Husband and I went for breakfast, ordered 2 western omelettes, took 30 minutes to get our food and our omelette was mostly over cooked eggs, no meat, mostly onions and bell peppers, very little cheese, over cooked tater tots, no hash browns and when I ask “Did Jackie cook this” they said no she’s off on Mondays . My advice is do not eat Mr. Bunkys unless you make sure Jackie is cooking because otherwise you probably won’t be happy with your food!!! Service was sweet and friendly but a bit slow!!! Definitely not worth $30!!!!!

This establishment offers fuel, hardware, groceries, food, butcher counter, and upstairs a thrift shop. I purchased items from the thrift shop but did not partake of food or gasoline. It's an interesting place and staff was very friendly.

Loved their southern buffet! The women who worked behind the line were so friendly and cheerful. LOVED the fried chicken and okra the most, but everything was delicious. Lots of tables to choose from to sit down and eat, prices were reasonable. Love this out of the way places!

I expected better, given the great reviews. I had the fish basket, fries were great. Fish wasn’t cooked enough. Was slimy and flavorless. Wouldn’t go back. The restaurant smelled very bad also.

Great variety of snacks, drinks, and home goods. The second floor feels almost like an antique store/ garage sale area. Certainly an interesting stop where you can also fuel up on your way out.

It's a different environment, it feel like a supermarket meets thrift shop.It could use a little update on the upstairs floor because when 2 people walk past each other, the floor cracks and vibrates a lot.Overall, it's not bad. They need more vintage items to sell in the thrift section it got a little boring after a while.
