The owners are super friendly and extremely knowledgeable. It was my first time coming to the shop I was treated like I've been there 15 times before. Also cannot complain about their prices for corals they had a nice selection of corals with great colors. And if you're looking to trade this is the shop to go to!

I moved from Texas to this area and was lucky to find zacs reef. He is very much a hobbyist and enjoys his work. He is very well informed (they are knowledgeable enough to have stingrays, octopi & reef sharks from eggs!) and the store is very well kept. Insanely reasonable prices and good customer service. Zac gave me a rock flower nem today because I had asked for some last time I was in but he forgot to bag them but didn't charge me, no biggie, they were busy! He more than made up for it with the freebie and it has a baby on its rock. Love these guys & I would reccomend them for anyone beginner-advanced!

Terry and Kristie (the owners) helped me start a saltwater aquarium in my seventh grade classroom at Pickens Middle School this past September 2022. They have guided me and come once a month to do a water change and help me maintain my aquarium. They are always so nice and helpful and very knowledgeable and always willing to answer all of my questions. If I text them to ask them a specific question they are always great to respond and let me know what to do. I absolutely love my saltwater fish and so do my students! My saltwater aquarium is great in helping to teach my students about a saltwater ecosystem. One topic that we learn about in seventh grade science is ecology, and the aquarium allows students the opportunity to see a real live saltwater ecosystem. I look forward to adding more organisms to my aquarium this coming school year with the help of Zac’s Reef! Thank you Zac’s Reef for helping me accomplish one of my bucket list goals of having a saltwater aquarium in my classroom!

He has helped me with so many things from day 1! And he has top of the line products such as reef breedersfor great lighting and coral growth and also quantum for all your coral health and food!

Great prices, Terry is a good guy and easy to talk to. He named the store after his son. The corals are very well cared for, fish are extremely reasonable on price. My wife and I bought a 6 line Wrasse today and have had no issues. Terry can order anything you may need but has a nice stock of fish and corals. We will be back soon!

If you haven’t ever had the chance to check out Zacs Reef you are missing out. I don’t care if you are a beginner in the salt water world or an expert at it the owners of this store treat each and every individual with nothing but respect. Every time I walk in the store I end up spending hours in there because they are so friendly you forget your even at a store it almost feels like a second home. Always have great quality livestock available for very affordable prices

I can't say enough good stuff about this place, I just wish I had known about it when it opened. I've had saltwater tanks for years now and really lost some of my enthusiasm due to the selection at other stores and the way employees at other store are demeaning if you have an issue. At Zac's I felt welcomed as soon as I walked through the door, and I fell in love with the amount for coral they have. They have never seen my tanks, but they make me feel like they genuinely care about the health and quality of my tanks. My love and enthusiasm is back through the roof for my aquariums and I have learned so much from the staff. This is my one stop shop, I won't be going anywhere else anymore.

I can’t believe I am the first to review Zac’s Reef on google. This reef shop is the place to go for me now. As someone who is just getting back into the hobby after several moves, I have toured all of the local shops in the upstate. The difference between Zac’s and the other shops isn’t hard to explain. This shop is a family business run by a husband and wife team, and of course their son Zac, which they have named the place after. The real difference is pride and care. Everything is personal to them. They want the best for your tank, not their pockets. I picked up a beautiful pair of Sunset Clownfish they had kept as a bonded pair for over a year. Very healthy and clean. Frag tanks looked the best of any I have seen. It takes maybe 25 minutes for me to drive there from Greenville, and it was worth every minute. I made the trip twice yesterday when I was scouting for the right fit. I hope you will check them out. Thanks guys.
