Getting the pharmacy to answer the phone takes an act of congress, and there’s one female pharmacy employee that has a constant attitude. If I knew her name I’d list it. Ever since we moved to Spartanburg we’ve had a problem finding a good pharmacy. They need to figure it out.Editing to add: Her name is Janelle. And she felt the need to tell me that MY child shouldn’t need her medicine that was delayed because HER child “takes the same medication and does fine without it for a few days.” As if that somehow makes it better that my child was out of medication and they wouldn’t transfer it to another pharmacy because it’s “illegal.”

They kept me on hold for 1 hour and 30 mins until the store closed. Never came to the line. I had my Drs office send a prescription in at 1:30pm and verified it was received by Walgreens ((which it was)) it was still not ready by 6:00 pm when I got off work. That is why I was calling, was to find out why it wasn't ready.

I have had poor experiences with the pharmacy staff over the last 60-days. After today’s experience, I transferred my prescriptions. It shouldn’t be a battle to pick up a prescription when one is notified via text it is ready for pick up. I also do not need to be asked “are you really this sick? Your doctor sure went overboard.” The pharmacy representatives are argumentative and rude for no reason.

My wife got a prescriptiin filled Wallgreens overcharged us for a prescription by not running our insurance and running it as a full cash retail price. The next day I got injured and recieved the exact same prescription (antibiotic) for my injury I was charged correctly 1 tenth the price which was much more reasonable and sounded correct. When we went back a few days later for a refill and asked why, they admitted to their own mistake yet refused to correct it and kept our money. Welcome to the new world where drug dealers with a liscence are above the law and can steal from you then look you in the eye and tell you too dam bad, we already got your money. I will be looking for a new pharmacy ASAP.

They never answer the phone, but when you go up there they are standing around I thought switching from CVS would be better but it’s just as bad. Why have phones if you don’t answer them they pick up and hang up. Sorry service.it doesn’t even deserve 1 star.

I'm really surprised by the rating for this Walgreens. I've been going here for several years and have never had a negative interaction with any staff member. The shelves are always well-stocked. The staff are friendly and helpful. The location is super convenient for those living in Moore. Honestly, my only wish is that Walgreens Corporate would discontine selling tobacco products similar to CVS.

I work in healthcare and speak with pharmacies daily, their pharmacist and technicians, but this Walgreens in Duncan, SC is by far the worse I have had to deal with personally for my sick child. Our doctor recommended calling before diving up due to shortage of amoxicillin in the area. I started calling on my personal cell phone at 23 minute on hold, I thought I mail have gotten lost in the queue, so I used my desk phone with actually pushed me to the doctors line, again placed on another hold. That was fine. How we after 44 minutes on the customer line and the doctors line, both calls ended immediately. I had to call back, this time again on my personal phone they would pick up and put my call on hold repeatedly, in theeantime my mother drove down to the pharmacy, 15 minutes from house. When she arrived no one was in the drive-thru line, she parked and went inside. When my mother went inside, there was one person ahead of no one behind the counter was on the phone. She explained the call issues and they could not explain it. They did thankfully have the amoxicillin, and they filled it quickly for my mother while she was waiting there, but in the meantime, she confirmed the number and she called personally from her cell phone and never got anyone to answer the phone, as she watched. The pharmacist (gentleman) came over and asked if there was something he could help her with, and she explained the phone issues that we have been having trying to get ahold of a tech before driving up there give shirtgae on antibiotic and that she was on hold as they were speaking and no one was addressing her call. He said he take 8 calls an hour about 3 minutes each, well then why did my daughter wait in total over an hour never got you and can hear a man’s voice in background as the call is answered and placed back on hold? The pharmacist said “he doesn’t know you got the prescription so What’s the problem?” He was completely rude. We will be changing to Publix across street.

This Walgreens was half way decent!They are now worse than the CVS across the street. Each time I call pharmacy they would disconnect me. I know they do it on purpose. Thank goodness there are other pharmacies.

The pharmacy staff! All I can say is all of the negative reviews, from years ago up to recent, when talking about the rudeness of the staff, the fact that they never answer the phone, and they are pretty lackluster in answering questions that would help you not spend extra money on prescriptions.. are all true! so sad that when people don't feel well they have to deal with this kind of ridiculous and unprofessional behavior.

I called to ask pharmacy a question about insurance. I explained that a Walgreens in another area was able to put the prescription through somehow where it was covered by one of my two insurances. I explained that I understood that they couldn’t control which medication were not covered, so I said I could call the other Walgreens and see how they put it through. Kendall in the pharmacy started laughing and said “okay, go right ahead”. I was taken back that she laughed at me and was hoping it was at something else, so I questioned if there was something wrong. Her response was something like (still chuckling at me) “there’s only one way to put it in.” I guess I didn’t understand why that was so funny to her. I was trying to figure out how not to spend $900 on a prescription. I wasn’t rude to her and I was very apologetic, because I know she gets patient calls constantly. Anyhow, my husband and I are transferring to CVS across the street.

They refuse to answer the phone. It's literally the only Walgreens I have ever been where the Pharmacy acts like the customer is an annoyance. They should replace the whole Pharmacy staff, as it is obvious they lack any management or oversight.

I changed from the pharmacy on the opposite corner from this location for better service. I am so glad I did. The people at the drive thru are always quick and friendly. I don't dread getting a prescription filled. Thank you.

Trying to get someone on the phone in the pharmacy is impossible. You can hear them pick up the phone and place it back on hold over and over again. I don't know if they are understaffed or what is going on but if you want to actually speak to someone over the phone good luck.

Incredibly rude pharmacy tech. Was very dismissive about my questions and even left to go to the drive through while I was mid sentence! Went To cvs instead.. Huge line! No line at walgreens. Think I know w! The tech at walgreens was kind and went out of her way to answer my questions and help me

I came here to write a review about what a great experience I have every time I visit this Walgreens location, but then I started reading the previous reviews and thought am I really talking about the same place as these other people? Or do they just write a review when they want to complain? Therefore, I think I should voice my opinion on the 2 most recent ones I read.For the one left by Hans and Claudia... personally it sounds like they failed to take responsibility for THEIR OWN prescription, and blamed it on the pharmacy when they should have been on top of it from day one. Do you know how many people get their prescriptions at every pharmacy, you aren't the only ones. Next, the one about the employees acting rude to each other... now that sounds like they were joking and being sarcastic and they were too uptight to notice.

I should give it no stars. I have been using this pharmacy for years and over the last few months I have had to double check all of the medications I receive. Unlike CVS, this place doesn’t have a “quality check” to make sure that all of your medications are correct. Multiple times my medications have come up short. I understand if there is a mistake but pharmacists should be checking behind their techs. I do not want to believe that someone is stealing medication but there has to be a reason why medications come up short. With all of the laws in place this company has failed to assure that people are getting what they are supposed to. I honestly have concerns because people trust the pharmacy to do their job. What if they do this to an elderly person or someone who wouldn’t know to look? Very unprofessional. To make it worse, when asked if they can double check they get upset with you... it is an embarrassment to the company when a customer asks you to check and it still is short. I will not use them anymore if they are upset that they have to do their job.

This is my pharmacy and has been for many years. I really love the employees, they are always very helpful. They always go out of the way to make sure we have our medicine ready in a timely manner. Also the store is always stocked up, organized. Everyone is very friendly and helpful

I don’t think this pharmacy is smart enough to fill a bottle of Tylenol. They are absolutely ridiculous and rude. They always seem to have a issue with insurance and when you call to help them figure out the problem they hang up on you 3 times in a row. CVS never has a issue and that’s where I’ll take my business from now on. I wouldn’t trust these people to fill a prescription for a dog! They should reconsider their career it’s obvious they can’t handle the job they’ve been given! Don’t go here take my advice and stay far far away!

So apparently the staff at the pharmacy has the insite to choose what's expensive for me and then not fill my script without even a phone call. First of all, $131.00 is not expensive for me, and second of all they need to call and ask before just not filling a script.

This pharmacy never answers the phone. I have to call the regular store manager and they have to go back there and ask them to answer the phone. After having done that several times, I asked the young lady I was speaking with why I had to do that, and she said, “If I have answered everything about your order there is nothing else I can do for you.” This is so rude and disrespectful.

Pharmacist and clerk are very rude. I do not need the pharmacist to come out in the waiting area and confront me. He said I was shouting at him, however, he was talking "loudly" from approximately 15 feet away from me. He kept asking me what what was wrong so I had to speak loud enough for him to hear me. I felt like both of them "ganged-up" to assault me verbally.

The pharmacy staff here are some very low quality people. They told my grandmother to go sit in a chair and figure out what she wanted to do. What kind of scummy person does that. Walgreens needs to reevaluate their staff here. I’m only going to CVS across the street from now on.

I highly DO NOT AT ALL recommend this pharmacy or store. It’s a problem every time you get a medication, whether it’s unprofessionalism from Cassie the pharmacy tech, or anyone else for that matter! They are not willing to help. I will continue to complain to corporate until this issue and Cassie’s behavior is addressed

Was told over the phone prescription would be ready in 20 minutes. Arrived 45 mins later. Was told location didn't have enough to fill it and to "come back tomorrow". A 2 minute phone call by pharmacy staff would be helpful...

This place sucks. Always a hassle and very rude people who act like that dont wanna be there. We moved all of our prescriptions up the road to First Choice Pharmacy, they are great and know you by name when you walk in.
