I called bright and early for an appointment because my dog chewed a hole in his tail and we were going to the lake that afternoon. HealthPointe was able to fix him up , provide 2 Rx’s and the cone of shame to stop any licking. We were able to go to the lake and my 13 year old buddy is recovering. Special thanks for the quick appointment and fantastic mend of my pup!

Took Cookee without an appointment because she had thrown up.And Dr. Jacobs saw her even though they had surgery that day.She was great and explained what Cookee needed.The vet techs were all so great!And Jenny was so nice.I have been going there since 2012.Dr. Hurlbert helped save my other fur baby Yogee's life.They all are so kind and compassionate!

This was my first time taking my new puppy to the vet and I was beyond satisfied. I went during the beginning of this new respiratory virus that is going around in dogs and because we have a puppy who is not fully vaccinated yet, they had me wait in the car and then come in a side door and straight to a room. They are being extremely cautious and it was greatly appreciated. On top of that, the staff and vet were fantastic! Great with my pup and just extremely caring!

Giving 3 stars because they said the word sex in front of my four year old multiple times. It wasn’t even just once or an accidental slip- it was said multiple times in front of him. I even widened my eyes and gestured to my son but the vet carried on like she didn’t see me and my son wasn’t in the room.I get that that topic comes with the territory of birds, but the subject really could have been handled with more sensitivity given the little ears in the room. I honestly never thought I’d have to be concerned about taking my four year old to a vets office with me.That being said, everything else about the appointment was good and the front office staff were pleasant. They sent me lots of info that is helpful to know about avian care.

I am very grateful for HealthPointe Vet and all their staff. You couldn’t ask for more compassionate and loving people not only to our pets but to the parents as well . They treat our pets like they would their own ! Dr Hurlbert has been a saving Grace for both of my senior dogs - Roscoe 16 and Kirby 15 - and all their health issues . They wouldn’t be where they are today without her wisdom, care, guidance , helpful suggestions and patience with them and this anxious mama at times . She is an amazing!Dr Wiltsie is also amazing and so helpful with any issues any time we have ever had visits with her . They both are very personableand thorough and always making sure call backs are made to check on us . You would be lucky to have either one of these help your babies. We couldn’t love them and ALL the staff more .So grateful to have such kind and caring care givers for my babies.

Without doubt Healthpointe Veterinary Clinic are the most caring, professional and pet loving veterinarians and techs I have ever known.They have cared for my 4 ferrets for over 5 years now and through routine checkups and emergency surgeries I couldn’t have asked for better care. Dr. Hurlbert was amazing with my Layla going above and beyond the call of duty to watch over her all night after a very difficult stomach surgery. THANK YOU AGAIN DOC!Two weeks ago my Bubba needed a tumor removed and once again they gave my baby awesome care.Now I have Shug, a rescued blind dog who had a lot of health issues. I couldn’t be more pleased with his surgical procedure and care. Dr. Wiltsie kept me informed throughout the day and called to check on him that evening and the next day. SHE ROCKS!I live an hour away from them and love that they will often times last minute let me bring along another of my babies to be seen. This saves me time and gas money not having to make another long drive on another day.Dawson is always so bubbly and helpful at the front desk and Liz knows the policies & procedures so well she is the go-to person and extremely helpful in getting answers quickly.THANK YOU Liz!Their professionalism and caring nature sets them above all others in the Upstate among Veterinary services.

This group is wonderful. We had a sick Guinea pig in 2020. Even through all that Covid protocol they took great care of Snow! Recently we saw a Dr. about Shadow our other Guinea pig. So far they have been very helpful and caring.

Took both of my dogs in today for a Rabies shot which it what was scheduledI don’t like being nickel and dimmed to death which is what this place does. Both of my dogs are brother and sister and have been to the vet on a regular basis and I was charged today 436.00 for the 2 of them that was just supposed to be a visit for rabies.I have a 3rd dog that I took to another local vet probably larger than this one and I had the identical same stuff do to here it was $75.98So the way I look at it if you want someone to nickel and dime you to death here your vet, all I ask it to be straight forward and honest.They also did not get my records for the other vet but so only did a 1yr on one of my dogs vs the 3yr. This is a shady way to do business.

We brought our rabbit in, and the exotic pets vet was INCREDIBLE! She allowed my 10 year old daughter to be the “vet tech” during the appointment. “Impressed” is the one word I’d use to describe this practice!

Fabulous care! Cleanest Veterinary Clinic I have EVER been in!! Smells amazing, not like most. I have the pleasure of seeing both Veterinarians as we have a cat and a dog enlisted under one each. It’s a bit of a drive for us, but for our fur babies, they are worth it! So far, we’ve been able to get our chinchilla and our dog in, and they’ve taken good care of both. Prices aren’t too bad either. Next up, the bunny.

My 13 year old dog got really sick and the team at HealthPointe was able to give us an appointment at the same day. Dr. Wiltsie explained everything what is going on with my dog and about the treatments. The staff called me on the next day to check how's she's doing and also called me back fast, after I had one concern. Great service, friendly and experienced, definitely recommend this clinic.

In the past we have had excellent care for our dogs with Dr. Jacobs. Yesterday we brought our dogs in for their yearly visit and saw a different vet. She was impatient with our pups, annoyed with my questions regarding care for the dogs and when I brought concerns regarding effects of medication on the dogs she gave me the “scientific basis” for them and basically dismissed my concerns. Even the first assistant that came in also seemed annoyed with my questions and treated me like I should be more aware of what they believe is needed for their care. If I had not had the pervious positive experience I would not be returning here. Thankfully I am able to request Dr. Jacobs for future visits.

My chorky-Squeezy has been going to Health Pointe her whole life of 4 years.A few months back my husband fell down our apt. stairs holding her and landed on top of her.Health Pointe immediately took her in and kept her for 3 days while I was at the ICU for my husband.She had the best attention and follow up from the staff that left me with no concerns and was able to deal with my husband's care and eventual death.Squeezy has regular grooming appointments and I have even called them with minor concerns getting advice, and solutions, offering me an appointment to see them right away.They are an extended family to me and I reccommend them highly.A quality veterinary like Health Pointe does cost something but our pets are worth every penny we spend to keep them healthy.The staff, service and value at this place is worth the price every time.

Our little dog was in crisis and we drove to Westside Veterinary Clinic. When we arrived, I stated the above, only to be told that the Veterinarians were busy and to come back 3 hours later. While shocked and panicked, I thought of Healthpointe and quickly took her there.They immediately took our dog back, examined and treated her for her symptoms. Diligent and professional, they reassured us that she was going to be fine. They have also called several times to check to see how all of us were doing!Westside Veterinary, you should learn from their professionalism.Thank you Healthpointe! You are a credit to our community!

I’m sure they’re great with common pets. But they were absolutely useless for Guinea pigs. I paid over $200 just for them to tell me they recommend a different vet. Did absolutely nothing to help. Absolutely wasted my money. Again they are probably excellent with common pets but do not bring your Guinea pig here. That $200 could have helped my Guinea pigs but ended up wasting our time.

Who has the BEST VET ever???? Tizzy does! Dr. Hurlbert at Healthpoint is simply the best. Tizzy was diagnosed with pancreatitis over a week ago. We couldn’t even get her out of her bed. Her WBC was 24,000 when it should less than 12,000. Friday before last she was on 10 hours of IV fluids and antibiotics. Dr. Hurlbert called everyday checking on her. By Sunday, she was running around and doing her Tizzy dancing. Friday afternoon at 430 she had her follow up bloodwork. I was told I wouldn’t get her results back until Tuesday because of the holiday. Well, guess what Dr. Hurlbert just called me her numbers are coming down. She is still Tizzy dancing, running around and acting like her crazy self. No need for a follow up on antibiotics and fluids. This is the best news. Side note…she even let her Daddy cut her hair today.💗💗

Nice vet office! The staff is friendly and professional! I like the fact that they present you with the treatment plan and prices for each service before they do the treatment. The office is very clean and The waiting room is nice and roomy!The Dr. Called me with the test results 1 day after the blood work was done. They will certainly be our go-to vet!

Looking for a veteranaian that works with exotic animals? Well look no further. It can be incredibly tough to find a place where ferrets and macaws can be treated. I take my bird here and they are great about everything. Short wait times. Currently, the date is August 27, 2021 and it's a one person and animal visit with a mask. This is a very clean and pleasant facility. Bright colors, beautiful pomegranate trees and palm trees in the clinics landscaping. All the assistants are very capable of handling all the animals. I feel very comfortable with them and the care they provide my animal. They were really helpful and gave me lots of resources and free print outs with all sorts of information due to my visits concerns. They trim nails and trim beaks. I'll be coming back whenever my bird needs a check up.
