Who the heck running this place now Scooby-Doo. The last time I came down here there was a stinking couple down here. The girl couldn’t take care of the customers for trying to make out with her boyfriend, kissing and hugging and both of them smelling straight across the counter like funk. Now, you got a new one down here and she can’t run the register for trying to be outside smoking and on her phone but this what you all are paying for. I don’t know who that man was previously ran that this place before he work seven days a week sun up to sundown.nobody else will run this business like him. At the rate it’s going, this store will be closed in a year.

Refused to allow my 3 year old to use the restroom. Said the public restroom was not open to the public. I was willing to be a paying customer but refused to open the restroom. From what I understand a public store has to have an open functional bathroom! We are freshly potty training and having an emergency.

I buy most of my little things here. Sort of a pop in & out store. I had to pick up Kingsford Coal & lighter fluid.

I've been in there several times in the past 2 weeks & alot their shelves have little to nothing on them. It's very frustrating to go to get certain items you know they have, but shelves are empty. Is no one stocking the shelves? Do they not have enough staff to get products on the shelves? Apparently they don't mind losing business. Please stock shelves for your customers to get what they need when they come in & not have to go somewhere that's not as convenient.

The people here good. They work hard and always very short staffed. The company doesn't pay the employees enough for their living expenses. The cashiers has to stock products and run the register.

This store is the hub of Duncan. Everybody comes here and they are all very nice. The cashier's and management have improved this stores quality, easy to find products, great prices, lowest anywhere in this area. It's clean , now, and brighter. It feels covid-19 safe. I wish there was a heavy trash container with a bag in it out front. Great place to meet up with friends and neighbors and supplies well the needs of Duncan. Thank you Dollar General

Worst dollar general around here - computer system always slow - not working - coupons randomly won’t work - wrong prices all throughout store I will travel the extra few miles to go to another one waste of time

I personally think that it could be a little cleaner and more organized being that there are boxes not unpacked everywhere, but it seems like they're very understaffed all the time. I don't blame this on the staff. The daytime staff is exceptionally friendly the nighttime staff is pretty friendly but the only thing that bothers me about them is if you walk in at 10 till 9 they always seem to holler, "u have 8 minutes". I am in the customer service and retail business and I've never yelled that to a customer. I never go in there with any intentions on keeping them in their past their time of closing because I know how bad you want to get done and get home. If they could change anything I would say have the shelves stocked stop counting down to customers.

Store was clean but disregards the homeless man that lives on the side wake which Mack’s me feel uncomfortable and the trash scattered about at the dump .

Oh my word !!!!! This store was absolutely horrid ! When I walked in trash and leaves were in the floor . The floors looked like they haven't been cleaned ever . The store was ransacked with a pile of blankets on the floor. It looked liked someone walked down a isle with arms outstretched knocking stuff over. 1 man unpacking a box, was nice to me.. and the cashier was also nice, but with Covid 19 I would think the store should be cleaner. Other stores I've been in have been clean and felt clean. This store felt and looked NASTY !!!! I'm not putting blame on the employees I feel the Corporate should send them help to get that store in shape.

Great service when I come into this store. I believe this store should be able to be a market location. Employees work hard with what they have and always helpful to all situation. They treat everyone courteous. Thanks for help with the food stamp numbers. Appreciate all the help. I'm new to the neighborhood and they made me feel welcome.

I love how they have seasonal items, all different types of home, decorative, school and crafting items, really just about anything you need they have! There is easy handicap parking, lots of parking spaces and very clean. The employees have always been so helpful and very nice. I highly recommend trying this store.

It's located just across the road from the end of the street we live on so it's convenient. They have a wide variety if products available and for the most part good prices. The main critical comment I have is this place is usually a mess - the floors need to be cleaned and lots of product still in boxes sitting in the aisles waiting to be put on the shelves.

It's DG, they seem to be having more supply chain issues than other stores, not sure why, maybe they need to hire more tractor trailer drivers and offer better pay, if they offer a schedule and pay that's suitable they could possibly retain quality drivers. For those that want to work companies need to offer more incentives for increased productivity.

I appreciate the fact that Dollar General stores offer more. The location of these stores are great. Nowadays seems as everyone has to budget money. I would rather pay a lower price and have money left over than overpay and not get what I needed.

Love going to this store. Right at home and the people that work there are great. Especially Ricky he's always smiling and acknowledges me and my sister when we enter the store. They always have what I need. Overall a great place to shop.

Just visited the Dollar General in Duncan after probably about a month or two... They are doing a lot of work to get the store cleaned up and I can see that they made a good bit of progress. I think they'll have this location in tip top shape probably by the end of this month. As hard as they are working, I won't hesitate to go back.

Store is under new management. I hope he gets it stocked and in better shape than it is now. Previous management should have been removed LONG ago if this is how they run a store. Products I NEEDED were not there. Very disappointment as I am traveling and needed those items.

All the girls that work there look old and haggered. They spend more time outside the front door smoking than at work. The tall black guy and Ricky are the best. They're always pleasant and greet you.. The only reason I shop there. The store has went downhill since Thomas left.

The Duncan store in South Carolina close to the high school is always nice. The store is a little messy but I can overlook that. In spite of their working conditions they are always pleasant and efficient. There is a young black employee that is so nice and always kind and personable.You can always see how tired and overworked the employees are. They seem to be expected to do more work than there are hours in the day. I guess they figure that someone is waiting to take their job.With that in mind this store has overcome the conditions and still provides great service.

I love this store and everyone that works there. It's like family and one of the best stores around this area. Some of your other employees need to go there and be train at this store on customer service . This store is exceptional . 357 near Holly Springs Fire Dept.

The store was not well stocked. It seems like ever time I go into a DG store employees are stocking shelves. But.. The tall Blackman cashier with the sexiest voice who waited on me was nothing but kind and nice. He wished a good Sunday & I said, same to you. I hope your day is easy and goes by fast😊 It left me with a good feeling, as I left that DG store.

I do like shopping at Dollar General but they are times when they are boxes in the aisle and you cannot get through the aisles because of boxing everywhere things are not placed the way they should be you can't find what you're looking for they are they haven't got it out yet it seems like they have trouble keeping good workers I don't know if it's the issue with the pay or what it is but they're just not as good as they used to be the pricing is going up which is I guess because everything else is going up but mostly used to and I would go to Dollar Generals I had no problem they would clean stores shells were. And you can find what you were looking for now it doesn't seem to be that way it just depends on which Dollar General Store you happen to be going to

Disorganized, disorganized, disorganized. They have boxes and crates full of product that's not being displayed. Have to dig through them just to see if they have what item you're looking for. Most of the time the line is long. As an ex asst. Manager I know that this in acceptable. Hope the district manager comes in and does something about that.

This store is literally ALWAYS out of EVERYTHING!!!! Need tp? They’ll be out... need sugar?? Nope.... There are usually two workers here and only one cashier. The line will be a mile long while the other employee is walking around and seeing this but not jumping on a register. Also you can rarely ever get cash back either. Save your time, try another DG.

It's way better now since the management has change. I went from a 1 star to a 4 star. The store is stocked all the time, if not they try and find it what you need. The Duncan Hwy 290 store is the only one I'll go too now!

Parking is way aggravating cause the lot is small and congested. Seems like the shelves aint never fully stocked cause somebkdy is always stocking while running the register so u have to wait for check out then BOOM now its a huge line

This particular DG us the best in my opinion. If all the DG around town, this one seems to always be stocked with the things I'm looking for. The staff here are amazing and friendly. They're very helpful and welcoming! It's what the customers look for when doing their quick, one stop shopping.

This dollar general use be to quite disorganized with stuff thrown every where, but its really cleaned up! Looks real neat and managed now! Hope they can keep it up, prices are important but environment is just as!

The outside was gross including people who seemed to live on the sidewalk in front of the store arguing as we entered the store. The shelves were basically bare and what was there was in disarray. This was the worst DG I've ever visited. The young lady who checked us out was very friendly.
